Walking around Yorkville on a Sunday afternoon, my friends and I stumbled upon Dimmi, next to Hemingways. The service wasn't anything spectacular but they were quick for sure. I ordered the Tortellini Alla Panna (Ricotta cheese filled tortellini in a light cream sauce) which was good but could easily have been the frozen torellini I make at home with a jar of store-bought white sauce. Similarly, my friend ordered a pasta with red sauce and it too had no wow-factor.
Not to be mistaken for a bad review, the food hit the spot since we were hungry and in the mood for some comfort food. It was definitely delicious - it was just a meal that I easily could have made at home. And since I was in Yorkville, my expectations were higher.
On a side note, its down-to-earth aura is the perfect spot for a date or even for a large group of friends looking to have a few drinks.

As a huge fan of the Keg, it's difficult for me to order steak anywhere but there. However the food at STACK in The Mirage was by far the best meal I've had in years, if not ever. I ordered the Surf & Turf (Grilled Petite Filet, Half Butter Poached Lobster) and it was worth every dollar. The steak was served on what seemed like a hashbrown but it was fancier than it sounds. There were delicious sauces that they served with the steak but it was so full of flavour that they weren't even necessary.
The service was at par with the quality of food - our server was charming and knowledgeable about the menu and the city itself. He even arranged our evening plans elsewhere without hesitation.
My best friend and I made one promise the night that we arrived in Las Vegas, and that was to eat at a different restaurant for every meal of each day we spent there. As soon as we left STACK our first night there, we made a new promise to eat there again the following night.
And yes, I ordered the exact same thing.
