I am not the type to really enjoy a Dark Roast but decided that I'd try this as it boasted "layers of deep, rich, full-bodied flavour with subtle notes of cocoa and caramel", and surprisingly didn't disappoint. When I brewed my first cup of this coffee, in my Keurig and tried it black, it was quite smooth, and the coffee was bold and tasty with the hints of the cocoa and caramel when it hit the back of my throat. To be honest, I thought at first it was just a gimmick, but I did taste those notes of cocoa and caramel. Anyway, I typically drink my coffee with cream, and it was quite good, the taste wasn't diminished much, by the cream, and didn't taste extremely bitter with my cream. I would buy this in the future as a go-to dark roast, if I cannot locate any regular McCafé coffee, at my place of shopping, as an alternative. -
