So, Let me begin this review by saying I usually buy my foundation at department stores. I wanted to switch because my current brand was running low and I didn't really like the flaky appearance on my face after I applied it. I would usually have to add some kind of moisturizer to my face after putting on the foundation to smooth it out. Even then, It seemed a bit streaky. So, on my birthday I decide to go to M.A.C and see what they had. First of all, the help and advice they offered was based soley upon my skin type. I had been using creme to powder foundation before and was told that that was probably not the best one for my skin. So she brushed on a powder foundation (Studio Fix) that seemed like an eraser to my small blemishes even with the lightest application. She made up half of my face and let me look at it in the mirror. I was sold! My face looked absolutely flawless! On top of all of that, when I went out into the real world later that day, I was complimented by several different people on how I have such great skin with a warm glow. I would definitely recommend just going to the M.A.C. counter just for a consultation even if you don't need or want the makeup. Their knowledge of skin helped me out the most. -

So, I am always the first to try new things when it comes to simplifying my lifestyle. I saw the Instead Cup in Walmart for a little under $7 and there were 14 in the box. I was already excited just because of the price. I anxiously awaited the arrival of my next period. I use the Nuva Ring so insertion and placement was no different. The ring around the Instead cup is slightly larger and more sturdy than the Nuva Ring as it should be. It was completely comfortable, didn't even know it was there. I must say it stays in place and locked in all day but, when I use the bathroom there is a little leaking, but it goes right into the toilet. This for me is a benefit because its like a fresh start. HAHA. A little repositioning after I use the bathroom to make sure its where it should be and a thorough hand washing and I'm on my way. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for freedom from their periods without the hassle of carrying tampons around and worrying about that "feeling" of its time to change. -

My only qualm is that it requires at least two coats to get the color in the bottle.

For starters, let me mention that I have very sensitive and dry skin.
I needed a facial cleanser that wouldn't dry my face like a desert and that also wouldn't have so much extra stuff that my skin would get irritated.
This facial cleanser is the perfect happy medium for me. I started using it when I started to feel one of those painful pimples surfacing on my nose (the oiliest spot on my face) and this cleanser stopped it from coming aboard my face within two days. Let me also mention that I only use this to wash my face once a day instead of twice to prevent my skin from drying out. My face feels so refreshed after using this and with a light fragrance free moisturizer I am good to go.

Pros: I already have pretty long eyelashes and this made my eyes "pop" even more. Cons: I don't think they make a waterproof formula just yet. I unknowingly rub my eyes constantly so this definitely smeared on me.
