My 14 year old Bichon is spoiled. She still gets the occasional treat every day for just being cute, as well as being well behaved while workers work around the house, or being left alone for long periods of time. (she has developed separation anxiety because of the pandemic) I buy her the Natures Recipe Wet food, and it’s all she will eat. When I saw the treats, I didn’t even hesitate to buy them. They are nutritious, and they aren’t too hard for her aging teeth. She will become a full out circus dog for these treats! They’re also very reasonably priced which is welcome these days! -

I wanted to try out the Method laundry line, because I was so impressed with the household cleaners. Although it’s a small bottle, I used it to wash both work socks, and intimates. It worked really well for the intimates, and whites, but it didn’t remove the odour or staining from the work socks. Perhaps if I used bleach, but I wanted to check the strength of the product on its own. It’s a little more pricy than I’m used to (I get a huge bottle of Tide at Costco that lasts me forever) but it’s a great natural alternative to the big brands. -

We got all the Method brand cleaners in our welcome bag from our home builder, and although I have used the brands dish soap and hand soaps before, the cleaners were unknown to us. I can’t tell you what a pleasure it was to clean the house after moving in for the first time. The scent is a lovely apple orchard scent, not strong at all, and the granite countertops look absolutely stunning and are left clean without a residue or film. I have to mention that besides the granite cleaner, they make an almond oil wood cleaner, and that is by far, my favourite cleaner. I could not find it on Chickadvisor, so I’m mentioning it here. It smells like dessert, and moisturizes the wood furniture like no ones business. I love these products, and will keep using them!! -

I got this as a gift, and I don’t normally wear heavy scents like this one, so when I smelled it, I immediately knew it would sit and look pretty on my vanity, used only when I was around the gift giver. It is a hard scent to explain, and it smells lovely after it’s faded away almost 90%. I always enjoyed it more on my coat from the night before, or at the end of an event. I use 4 sprays of perfume daily, and I kid you not, I can go through a bottle in 6 months. This bottle lasted me 4 years. When I moved recently, there was still some left, and decided to throw it out. Perfume should never make you nauseated. -

I picked this up as an end to my routine, after picking up the coconut shampoo and conditioner. It’s the only thing I use now from OGX. It smells great, and a little goes a long way. It’s not too heavy if applied correctly, and it doesn’t leave any residue. The only complaint is that sometimes my hair feels a little dry. I don’t use this on my scalp or roots. Only ends, and have indeed found less damage to the hair. -

I love the smell of this line, but after hearing about the formaldehyde lawsuits, I decided to switch out both the shampoo and conditioner. To be honest, the shampoo did nothing for my hair. Nothing. It felt dry as hell when I rinsed it off. Even if I wanted to skip conditioner, I couldn’t. The conditioner was ok, but my hair lacked moisture, shine, and it was a tangled mess every time. I won’t use this brand again. -

I received this as a gift from my fiancé last Christmas, and I almost returned it because I know it’s a small fortune. After battling with self esteem and anxiety issues, he knew this was a way to help make me feel better about my hair. It has been such a pleasure using this machine. I have very fine, curly hair, and it’s hard to find time in the morning for hair styling, let alone using a tool like a flat iron or curler.
I initially was very skeptical that the curl would hold, but after finding my groove with it, I’m obsessed. Longer hair may be more challenging but mine takes about 30 minutes from dry. I’ve found that if I wash on Monday for example, the Tuesday I start my work week being able to curl or blow out my hair, allowing the rest of the week for touch ups. Blow outs are stunning with this machine. Nothing but love for the Airwrap.
