I was chosen to try the Swiss Natural Cran-Max 250 mg by @buterly. I was very grateful because I’ve had bladder issues for over 20 years now. I started using one a day, and I wasn’t seeing a difference compared to not using anything. I started using two a day, and I could see a small difference in the amount of liquid I was excreting. It advertises many benefits such as
* Helps prevent urinary tract infections
* Maintains urinary tract health
* Clinically proven
* 100% cranberry solids with no added sugars
* Provides antioxidant protection
* 2 caplets are equivalent to one 8-10oz glass of cranberry juice
We all know that cranberry juice and cranberry pills are recognized as a natural way to prevent UTIs. As previously mentioned, I’ve been living with bladder issues for a long time now, and I’ve used different types of natural remedies. Personally, I find that only using only cranberry juice or cranberry supplement sometimes works for prevention, but for me, it doesn’t help as a treatment. It’s not clear how much you need to take or for how long. My own experience shows that to help prevent UTIs naturally,
36mg of cranberry PACs are proven to be more effective. Cranberries contain a molecule known as proanthocyanidins (or PACs). PACs help prevent the adhesion of certain harmful bacteria, including E. coli associated with urinary tract infections, onto cell walls. Therefore, for myself, I found that Swiss Natural Cran-Max was not enough. I do recognize that Swiss Natural Cran-Max offers many benefits, and it is an easy supplement to use in helping in the prevention of UTIs. I only wish the product would add 36 mg PACs. Maybe it could be something to look into @swissnatural???
