I started reading this book "the edge of devine" by Sandi Patty earlier this summer. Reading the description of it it was described as a book who inspired wommen to try the life and choices we make. To find our inner peace and a sence of independence. I did not find this to be true in this book.
Once I started reading "The Edge Of Devine" - Sandi Patty I was disapointed in the style of writting that she represented. I beleive in religion, and I enjoy learing about different religions and how they shape us as people. This book preached. It might as well been written and called a bibble for wommen. I read half of this book and havnt touched it in a month. I keep hoping that I will find something in this book that I liked even a little but I have not.
Sandi Patty writes about her journey through weight loss, damaged relationships, and family values. The things that have helped her become the person she is- GOD. Though the idea of the book is a great one, who doesnt need a pick me up or reminders that we have it so much easier than a good portion of the world right? Go buy a chicken soup for the soul or read the 9 prophecies. Dont waste your money on this book, unless of cource you can get it for free.
Having said that I think I will be sending this to my mother in law she is extremly religous so perhaps she will like it. I will post her thoughts on this book.

I have extremly dry skin and have always been on the lookout for a great moisture rich cream. I stumbled on this product by accident, when i was preparing for my wedding I had invested money on good skin care products but whenever i ran out of aveda face cream they were always out. So i went into London drugs and asked the young womman there what she would recccoment. This was it. In a matter of days my skin felt hydrated and nourished, my skin didnt burn or feel raw as it has before using this product.
Clairns uses natural ingredients using a cold press method that keeps the nutrients in, making for a non fragrent effective facial preparations. I would highly reccomend this line for dry, extremly dry or ethnic skin types. The thick non oily cream absorbes quickly into the skin leaving it soft and supple. A bottle for me last about 6 months and though you dont need much i use a little extra at night or in the winter time to elleviate wind burn!

I was given a complimentary copy of To Go Walk Like You Have Somewhere to go by Lucille O'Neal from www.booksneeze.com I chose this book because I enjoy reading autobiographies but I am also interested in black history.
I found this book to be a very inspiring story that talks about her choices as a single parent and how the affected her children. Lucille O'Neal wrote this story of her life as though she was sitting right next to you, an emotional adventure of motherhood, being a wife and being a student. She is able to connect with you as a reader through her journal like book. I felt as though the words flowed across the page with such fluid movement that I didn't want to put it down.
Without a doubt this book is inspiring, and emotional.
I would say the only dislike I have about Walk Like You Have Somewhere To Go - Lucille O'Neal is that some of the photo's that she has provided in her book are hard to see which individual is Lucille. Though she tells you where she is it is still hard to point her out.
Overall I would most definately recommend this book to a friend of coworker.
