I have been trying this out in conjunction with the matching conditioner (also from chickadvisor) for twelve days. I was using another brand of purple shampoo previous to using this.Love the packaging and it looks a premium product.It smells lovely plus I didn't need to use much on my shoulder length thick hair. Normally I would use three times as much living in a hard water area.My hair did feel dry afterwards though.With my usual shampoo I can forgo using conditioner.
I can't say I noticed a difference when my hair was dry but it did make the blonde bits brighter.I hadn't told anybody that I was testing a new product and nobody said anything about my hair looking different. I would say it's an average shampoo and I will be sticking to my usual purple (non shimmering)

So when chickadvisor sent these for free I was intrigued. There are seven individually wrapped masks in the box and they start heating up as soon as packet is opened.First thing I noticed was the horrible overwhelming pong. It says lavender on the box but to me smelt of chemicals. There was no evidence of steam and they certainly don't get upto the temperature it says.I found the mask relaxing and my tired eyes felt better afterwards. I would use them again but unscented -

So when I received this from chickadvisor i couldn't wait to try it out.I was using another brand of purple conditioner at the time.
I had high hopes for this as I had never used John frieda before.When I opened the large tube I was surprised by the lack of smell-there isn't enough scent.My hair felt waxy afterwards but was OK when dry.Did it moisturise? My thick shoulder length hair felt alright but I wouldn't say as soft as usual.I usually wash my hair twice a week but I found the day after washing it was looking horrible
I can't say I noticed a difference to before except that my blonde bits were brighter.I will say that I used this in conjunction with the shampoo
