I received a sachet of this cleansing oil to test, and made it last for 2 uses. I like cleansing oils (particularly in winter), and this worked nicely on my combination skin. The product feels and smells nice, and felt clean without being tight or drying. I would give this cleanser another try, but can't speak to its use long term, as the sample was the same size as you'd get in a magazine or giveaway, so my opinion is solely a first impression. -

I was able to try the COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Lash Plumping mascara for free for review. This formula is really nice and lightweight, and can be worn as one coat or built up for more dramatic lashes. I love that there is no clumpiness and it doesn't feel at all heavy. The brush makes getting both my upper and lower lashes easy. Love it! @covergirl @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor -

The sample tube of Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Repairing Cream got here just in time to really give it a good test - my skin is dry from not only the winter weather, outdoor wind and indoor heating, but the multiple hand-washings and hand sanitizer usage as well. I like that it's fragrance free and absorbs easily, as it usually isn't terribly long until my next hand washing! I work at a computer, and I hate it when hand creams leave residue on the keyboard. This one is nice in that regard, as it doesn't leave a film. I am very likely to purchase the full size. #tryAveenoRST -

I used the Becel Unsalted Plant-Based brick for making oatmeal cookies, and they turned out great! The brick form is great for measuring out, as measurements are give on the outer foil packaging. Packaging also reduces waste, as opposed to spreadable margarine tubs. This product is easy to blend into recipes without having to soften at room temperature. Great taste, and I would buy it again! #BecelPlantBasedBricks #FamilyRatedClub #gotitfree -

I picked up the #ArmandHammerCloudControl Clumping Cat Litter (Multi-Cat) with the coupon provided by @FamilyRated and @ArmandHammerCanada to test and give my review.
I have multiple cats as we have rescued a number of strays to our acreage, so I knew it would be given a fair test! My first impression as I was pouring the litter into the litter box was that this litter is indeed dust-free.
No plumes of dust flying up in a cloud, which was nice! It is almost the consistency of sand, and when scooping, the good litter is very easily sifted through.
I also have an older cat with arthritis, and she seems to like the softer texture of the litter on her paws. There is a distinct scent to this product, almost fruity. It's noticeable, but none of my cats seem to mind it.
The clumping action absorbs almost immediately - it actually confused my youngest kitty when he turned around to cover up his 'contribution', only to find that it had seemingly vanished.
It took about 3/4 of the box to fill the one litter, and with numerous cats I don't foresee that it will last long, so for about $15 for a small box it is likely not affordable for me with 4 litters in our workshop for them.
However if I was to only have one litter in the house with a couple of cats, I'd probably consider it worth it - the litter itself isn't wasted as it sifts so well, and there isn't a lot of tracking either. Two paws up #FamilyRatedClub #gotitfree

I have been using the Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream from @NeutrogenaCanada for the past couple of weeks. Although the weather has gotten warmer, March is always a gamble with trusting the temps! This gel cream is a great all-over moisturizer, although I've been using it mostly on my hands after washing them when I come in from working outside. It has a pleasant scent and absorbs quickly, so I don't have to walk around trying to avoid touching anything while it dries down. It's a great size that will last awhile, and I really appreciate that it has a pump, as flip caps and twist off lids are a lot less convenient. I have it on the vanity in the central bathroom, so my mom uses it as well. She really likes it for her hands, arms and legs. I will likely purchase this product once we're out! #gotitfree @ChickAdvisor #tryNeutrogenaHydroBoost -

I received the VICHY IDÉALIA RADIANCE ACTIVATING NIGHT PEELING CARE from @VichyCanada and @ChickAdvisor to try due to some issues with uneven texture and dullness on my winter-weary skin. This product is like an essence, applied after cleansing and before serums and moisturizers. As with most Vichy products, it is packaged beautifully in a deep burgundy glass bottle.
I don't have extremely sensitive skin, but I did find that I personally had better luck using this product sparingly only on areas that I felt I really needed it most, instead of over my entire face. It has a pleasant, almost fruity scent, very faint. After several days I did notice my skin feeling smoother and looking more even in texture.
The only drawback for me is that alcohol is the second listed ingredient after water, and to me that isn't an ingredient that I feel is necessary, particularly in skincare and especially on the face. I picked up a glycolic acid toner which has no alcohol in the ingredients, and tend to avoid ones that do. I'll still continue to use the Vichy Idéalia, and it is a good product (Vichy makes some of the best skincare that I've tried). Just be sure to be diligent with using moisturizer if you have sensitive skin, don't overuse it, and tailor use to the areas of your face that will really benefit from it. #vichyloverca #gotitfree

I have been using the NIVEA Care Nourishing Cream for a couple of weeks now from @NIVEACanada and @ChickAdvisor as part of #TessaxNIVEA #TessasFavourites. I normally avoid creams and lotions in jars, as I find them messy and prefer a pump or squeeze tube for convenience. The product itself, however, is very nice and absorbs QUICKLY (I am writing this review on my smartphone after using the cream on my hands just before going to bed!) The scent is lovely, light, and fresh. When I first peeled the foil from the top of the jar, there was no wasted space whatsoever, the cream filled the jar entirely. For the price and the pleasant surprise of not having to wait an age for it to absorb, my already cool-weather affected skin will be using this product a lot! #NIVEA #gotitfree -

I have been using the NIVEA MICELLAIR Water for a week now as part of #TessasFavourites #TessaxNIVEA from @NIVEACanada and @ChickAdvisor. I was looking forward to trying it, as I really like normal micellar water for a quick morning cleanse. I usually like NIVEA products, and I love that Tessa Virtue is a spokesperson for them now. While I found that this product worked great for the mornings, I also found that it removes eye makeup better than any of my cleansers or even the specific makeup removers I have. As a huge bonus, it doesn't leave that oily residue that some makeup removers do, which make my vision blurry. My eyes are pretty sensitive so I'm not a fan of having to really work to get makeup off, and I didn't have to with MICELLAIR. I just gently pressed a moistened cotton pad against my lashes for a few seconds, and it wiped right off (see my photo comparing one eye using my regular gentle cleanser, and one with MICELLAIR.) It's a gentle but effective product, and my new favourite. #gotitfree -
