I received the Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and was pleased that it was a full size product, which gives me the chance to really try it out for an accurate review! The scent of the shampoo is great, it lathers nicely and feels rich and moisturizing. It rinses clean, and leaves my hair soft once it is dry. I do need added products to keep the frizzies at bay, but I am fairly certain that I won't need to use conditioner with it in the summer when the air isn't nearly as dry. Great product! -

I received the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. As my hair is fine and fairly thin, I was a bit apprehensive about using an oil product in it, as I thought it may be too heavy or make my hair coated. The first time I used it on damp, freshly washed hair, I used about 3 drops and massaged it through the lengths and ends, avoiding my roots. When it was dry, it was obvious that I'd used to much, as my hair felt and looked dull. Time to try again! The next day, after again washing my hair, I used 2 small drops (carefully pressing the pump on the bottle with precision, lol). This time it was the perfect amount - as soon as my hair was dry, it felt soft, looked silky, and was not at all dull or lackluster. This product has a pleasant mild scent and is lightweight. I'm certain that any hair type could benefit from it, you just need to tailor the amount you use to suit your hair! Thank goodness for a frizz fighter that makes my hair look shiny! -

I've been trying out the Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray for free the past week as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It has flexible hold, no stiffness or stickiness, and the nozzle hasn't clogged, which many hairsprays seem to do. The only aspect that I find slightly annoying is that it has a baby-powder scent that I catch whiffs of during the day. Otherwise, I like this hairspray a lot. -

I received the Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and not a moment too soon! As (bad) luck would have it, our water lines were turned off yesterday due to a problem with a neighbour's repair work. I wash my hair daily as it gets oily and lank if I don't, so this was a perfect opportunity to try the dry shampoo. I blasted my roots, rubbed it in, and brushed my hair out again over my bathtub. The scent isn't too strong, and my fine hair doesn't look like the wreck it normally would after not washing. You can see in the 'before' photo that it had started to separate and my scalp showed through. Although the result isn't quite as good as a shower would be, I'd get this product again for these situations! -

I had the opportunity to receive this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Having never tried an overnight oil as a moisturizer, I didn't know how my combination skin would react (I get occasional breakouts). Surprisingly, the Lipidol Overnight Face Oil was very light and absorbed well into my winter-weary skin. I use perhaps 3 drops maximum for my whole face, and press my hands into my neck to absorb any excess. This bottle is small, but will last the entire winter and at under $10, I would definitely purchase it when it runs out. Pleasant, very subtle scent, and simple packaging which I appreciate. -

I received the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, having never tried this brand before. Applying a few drops to dry skin and massaging gently, then adding water was effective in removing the majority of my makeup and leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I found that it didn't quite remove all of my eye makeup, but I didn't want to get any in my eyes so was more sparing in my usage in that area. I don't care for the scent of the product, as it has a bit of a musty chemical scent that a lot of 'unscented' products do, but that is my only real 'con' about this cleansing oil. Overall it is a great skin cleanser and at $8-9 the small bottle will last a long time. Bonus marks for causing no breakouts! -

As someone with very pale skin, I didn't even consider getting this palette until recently, when a lovely YouTuber who is as fair as me showed how she used it as a very slight contour/bronzer (yup, some of us use a highlighter as a bronzer, ha!) Well, I'm an idiot with anything more than basic foundation and blush, but I'm hooked. Radiant and Dim lights work great as a very subtle colour on my cheeks, and Incandescent is lovely at the top of the cheekbones. The formula is so finely milled that it doesn't feel too powdery and is almost foolproof. Hourglass makes beautiful products, and this is no exception. Highly recommend! -

I have very fine hair, and have been using my Tangle Teezer for a few months now. It's gentle on my hair, can be used on dry or wet hair, is easy to clean, and doesn't have annoying bristles that retract. My only con to this brush is that now that my hair is quite long, it's harder to pull through my hair without risking that when the brush hits a snag, it'll go flying out of my hand. -
