I have medium to dark brown hair and I do not notice any white flakes. I'm not a fan of the smell. The scent of the dry shampoo seems to stay in my hair until I wash my hair. I use the dry shampoo on the second day of not washing my hair. This product is not very effective. After I use it, I feel as if the dry shampoo has done nothing to the oils in my hair. I would rather use baking soda. The price is very affordable but I would not recommend it.    -
