What's not to love? Green tea with all the best ingredients for soothing a stressy stomach: lemongrass, ginger, licorice root, dandelion root... Plus lemon and coconut notes for good measure. This is a serious spa day cuppa. My only complaint is the name: Cleanse. I get that wellness is trendy, but aren't we over acting like food choices make us "dirty" or "clean"? (No offense, Teapigs – you're one of the most innovative brands in the game and I love everything you do. Just not a fan of diet culture as a marketing strategy.) Anyway, name aside, I'll be keeping this tea stocked. Tasty, stress-relieving goodness in a cup. #gotitfree but customer for life. Thanks, Teapigs! -

I received this item for free from Lancôme and Chick Advisor - thank you for letting me try this mascara! I've had it for about a week now and have only tried it a few times because of a nasty sinus infection keeping me in bed. But here's what I can report: like all Lancôme mascaras, this formula is VERY wet when the bottle is new. Personally I find this really tough to work with on natural lashes. If you let the wand dry out a little before you apply, it does help - but I think this is one that will get better with age. I love the big brush and bottle, and the formula is a really dark, luxurious shade of black. I'll report back when this one is a little more worn in! -

You know that term "unputdownable"? That. I picked up Gone Girl at an airport on a Monday morning. I finished it at breakfast on Tuesday.
Look, I wanted to pace myself, but it was just so well written. Chapters ending on cliffhangers, shifting narratives, original plot twists... There's just no obvious point to pause in your reading.
Do read this before you see the movie, and if you've seen the movie, don't let that put you off. Flynn does such a brilliant job putting you inside her characters' heads, showing you all the dark thoughts and secrets that just can't be conveyed on screen.
And try to go into the book knowing as little as possible. I've heard a few people say that they could see certain things coming, and that's probably down to the buzz around the book. Just go for it. And don't forget to turn off your phone.

There is a time and a place for a face wipe. That time is not your daily cleanse.
If you're looking for something to tone down your makeup or eliminate a bit of makeup residue before using a proper cleanser, this might be the right product for you. If you're on a plane or in a tent and you've already used something a little bit more makeup- and grime-busting, sure thing.
But let's be clear about one thing: these wipes, like any wipes, will not leave you with a perfectly clean face. They can't. Only proper cleansing with a facecloth and a cleanser and running water will get you a fully clean face. These wipes leave residue and other debris behind, and you'll know it because your face just won't feel clean.
As a quick-fix? Fine. In a pinch? Absolutely. For your hands? Sure! But absolutely, definitely not as the only product cleansing your face before bed.

Advil Extra Strength Liqui-Gels smash apart my impending low-grade migraines when taken early. Luckily I don't get them too often, but these are the only thing for it.
Also extremely effective as a hangover cure. Just saying.
The only thing I don't love is the slightly sweet taste of the capsules, but they're gone quickly enough.

Let me start off by saying that I've never been a drugstore makeup user (blame my mom), so to me, Benefit products seem like really good value. That said, if you're firmly in the "why spend money on something you're going to throw out in 3 months"... +
Let me start off by saying that I've never been a drugstore makeup user (blame my mom), so to me, Benefit products seem like really good value. That said, if you're firmly in the "why spend money on something you're going to throw out in 3 months" camp - fair dues, I can totally see your point.
Roller Lash is quite possibly my favourite mascara ever. I was wary of using a curling mascara after trying Dior's version earlier this year. It didn't blow me away, and honestly, the curved brush just seemed baffling. I couldn't create results that really differed from using a normal brush, no matter how I twisted or turned the thing.
Not the case with Roller Lash. After a few tries, this mascara gave me the longest, curliest lashes I've ever had without extensions. I'm not a big fan of the spidery look, so it's important to find a formula that looks "clean" or somewhat natural. This is it. You can continue rolling the brush through your lashes to really build that curl, and often you don't even need to comb through to separate them after - though this will depend on how old the formula is.
So, the formula: like most mascaras, it does have a sweet spot. The first few applications might be a little more liquid than most of us prefer, and towards the end of its three months, it does get a little too sticky for me. This seems like the number one reason you might want to go for a cheaper (but equally awesome) drugstore mascara. But if you're curious about Roller Lash and willing to invest a little more, it's definitely worth a try. For the first time, I'll be re-purchasing instead of trying something new.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for high end body wash. I love the luxe packaging and those complex fragrances that just smell expensive.
The thing is, my body doesn't love them as much as I do. Especially those particularly... "sensitive areas"... Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.
So at the end of the day, I always come back to my Dove soap. A bar lasts a good long time - a month or more, depending how often you shower. It does the job, and it keeps my skin from drying out or getting irritated.
As a bonus, it's the only thing I use to keep a new tattoo clean. It really fits the bill for an unscented, non-drying soap, and I prefer the sensitive formula for sure. I always open a fresh bar (because hygiene), but again, it lasts.
