Crumps Naturals Mini Trainers
Butters really enjoys these treats... to a point. I don't think they work as well for him as trainers as the Crumps Naturals Beef Tendersticks do (we break those into tons of tiny pieces). It's almost as if these are a bit more processed, so they... +
Butters really enjoys these treats... to a point. I don't think they work as well for him as trainers as the Crumps Naturals Beef Tendersticks do (we break those into tons of tiny pieces).
It's almost as if these are a bit more processed, so they aren't his TOTAL favourite, but he'll still scarf them down when given the opportunity.

Butters does not like these. They're a super weird texture (like rubbery - it's weird). He LOVES most Crumps Naturals products, but this is a definite miss in his opinion.

Purina Bacon Beggin Strips 170 gr
An absolute favourite in our house. We initially said we wouldn't feed Butters any treats that weren't "natural" - but his Grandma and Grandpa keep buying him Beggin Strips and he loves them.

Denta Stick Original
Butters likes these - not as much as Greenies or the Milkbone Dental Chews, but he'll still eat them - although he might leave them around for a few hours first. Apparently they are okay, but they don't taste as good as the others.

Okay, so these are Butters approved. He seems to believe they are delish - however I haven't noticed a change in his dental health with these. These are also his second favourite after Greenies (sorry Milkbone!)

milk bone good morning daily vitamin treats
Butters really loves these treats - and I liked the idea of him getting a daily vitamin - but having a treat that's limited in how often you can give it, etc. just doesn't work for me. My husband constantly forgets that these are one-a-day and... +

My husband constantly forgets that these are one-a-day and brings these instead of treats when we go out - which just doesn't work.
Butters loves the taste, but they're gone nearly instantly, so it really doesn't work for him - because when he likes something he wants more (and I get that).
It's a decent idea, but it just doesn't work for my life.

We have been warned away from this food by just about every dog expert out there. Behaviourists, trainers, daycare workers, veterinarians, dog-store owners, breeders. The sentiment is the same. If you love your dog, don't buy them Ol'Roy.

Blue Buffalo Chicken and Brown Rice Small Breed Adult Dog Food
Butters is my (nearly) 3 year-old miniature poodle - and honestly, I haven't eaten this (okay, I put it in my mouth once - but that was just to encourage him to eat when he was a baby), so his opinion matters more to me than mine does! Butters... +
Butters is my (nearly) 3 year-old miniature poodle - and honestly, I haven't eaten this (okay, I put it in my mouth once - but that was just to encourage him to eat when he was a baby), so his opinion matters more to me than mine does!
Butters LOVES this food. He eats it as a treat or in his puzzles (we give him chicken / veggies or beef / veggies for his actual dinner, so this is more for playtime).
Also, we always keep a bowl out so he can eat when he wants to as he's really good at self-regulating his diet.
He loves Blue Buffalo and I love that I feel confident feeding it to him.

This is a tried and true product in my house. It really is magical what it can take off the wall. That being said - DO NOT USE ON FLAT / EGGSHELL PAINT - it tends to leave a discolouration. Best used on glossier paint types.
