I received this product free to try from Chick Advisor. I have tried tons of makeup removing wipes in the past and generally purchase whatever is on sale, but I think I might have been converted to the Neutrogena Skin Balancing (PLANT BASED?!) Wipes after this. I often find makeup wipes can be a little harsh on my eyes and get a lot of stinging when removing eye makeup. These wipes did not cause any stinging at all, which is a huge win for me, and I found out they do not contains soaps or alcohol, which is HUGE for me. The wipes were well-moistened and the cloth is sturdy and large enough to do a whole face of full-makeup. The wipes are definitely wet and have a good slip and really take off the makeup well without having to rub my face a lot, which I really appreciate. The packaging is pretty cute, happy yellow colour, and is pretty standard. I have not had the issue of pulling multiple wipes out at once which usually bothers me when it happens. The only downside for me is that it only comes with 25 wipes instead of 30, making it so that I would have to puchase more than one to cover a whole month. That's a small complaint since that's a pretty standard count for many companies. For the price, I'd say they're well worth it (around $10-12 CAD) if you really love a good makeup wipe. I tend to use Micellar waters on a reusable cloth or wipe, but with these being plant-based, I might just make the switch back to wipes. If they came out with the Micellar water alone I would be a major convert. Overall, I loved these wipes and will seriously consider switching to them as a regular product in my routine as they made removing makeup so pleasant and easy, and I don't even feel like I have to cleanse again (though I generally do). These would be especially useful for after the gym or a workout to give the skin a quick cleanse. I'd even use them on my body to give a nice fresh feeling as there is little-to-no residue and they're very refreshing. -

I received this product free to review from Chick Advisor and I am obsessed. I've been using non-foaming cleansers for a while (Spectro, Cerave) but found they lacked the true cleansing action I need for oily skin, but still need something that doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry. This is absolutely the answer. The clay-based cleanser leaves my skin feeling really clean but not stripped at all. I hate when my skin feels tight or dry and itchy after washing and I don't get this at all. It honestly feels like my skin is deep-cleansed and even a little bit exfoliated but not dry at all. I have not noticed any new or worsening breakouts, and my skin doesn't feel any more or less oily. This honestly is a skin balancing formula and is perfect for oily skin. I love the packaging, it's simple and bright, looks good on my counter and the pump doesn't dispense too much product in one pump. The forumla itself is not too thick or thin, just right, and there isn't a strong scent, so I think a lot of sensitive people will find this to be a good option. At this price point ($9-12 dollars CA) I will definitely be re-purchasing again and again. I've even thought of getting a second bottle for the shower so I have one in each bathroom. -

I was really happy to have been chosen to try the flawless hair remover. I have PCOS and one of the side effects is increased facial hair. Thankfully mine is very blonde but I’ve got enough peach fuzz that I get self-conscious. The finishing touch flawless hair remover is perfect for removing this facial hair. It’s super gentle and doesn’t feel like it’s trimming any hair but the fuzz coming off is REAL. I’m obsessed and I love that there’s a light on the device to help target the sections of hair around my hairline and ears. I used to shave and epilate but I’ll never go back now. This device is small and discrete and super gentle. It doesn’t feel like anything is happening but it definitely trims the fuzz enough without leaving any stubble. I would highly recommend this product. I also love that it only uses one battery!

I received this deodorant to review from Chick Advisor and Schmid's. I LOVE Schmidt's deodorants and was excited to try this option for myself and my boyfriend. I really liked this scent - it's earthy and mild, not as scented as their other options. The formula contains baking soda, which I didn't love because I tend do get a rash after a few uses however it has not bothered my boyfriend, however he has hair underneath his arms and it might not bother him as much as it is not directly on his skin as much. Both of use used this deodorant and found that it held up quite well throughout the day at keeping us dry and fending off smell. On me, it worked like a charm and I didn't notice any odour. My boyfriend worked out and it did wear off by the end of the day - but still held up much better than most natural deodorants we've tried.
We will definitely be buying this brand from now on - as it's worked much better for both of us than any other natural brands out there. The applicator is traditional and the product goes on fairly smoothly but does help if you hold it to your skin to warm it up. Overall we are in love and would highly recommend this brand for quality, effectiveness and price!

I received this product free from chick advisor and schimdt's for a review. I have been absolutely converted to Schimdt's deodorants. I've tried their regular formulas before and has a little bit of an issue with baking soda. I am so happy they released a BS-free version for senisitive skin! This formula is a little bit more gel-like compared to the regular version and feels a little bit sticky as it goes on, but is quickly forgotten and forgiven as it compensates for not having baking soda. I attributed it to having extra coconut oil or something, but I could see myself maybe using it faster than other brands because it feels like you use more product with each application.
The rose and black pepper scent is nice but a little strong. I wish it was a bit softer or maybe came in the lavendar or rose/vanilla scent instead as this was a bit spicy and the rose is pretty powerful. I will continue to use this version because I love the effectiveness, but don't absolutely love the scent.
In terms of effectiveness, I thought it held up pretty well on a hot day. It lasted through walks outside and some moving and heavy lifiting. I got fairly hot and sweaty and this held up pretty well! I did notice I felt a bit wet under my arms but when I did a scent-check, the rosy scent held up. I did not notice any odour until the next morning before my shower, so it might not hold up for over 24 hours but It does work for about 16 for sure.
Overall I will definitely be buying this product and brand again. I really hope they bring out more sensitive-skin scents as this wasn't my favourite scent and would love to be able to have another option (lavendar or citrus would be awesome!) and would love to see a unisex or male scent without the baking soda as well! If you're looking for an antiperspirant alternative, Schimdt's is absolutely my favourite out there because IT WORKS!

I generally LOVE green beaver products - their toothpastes are the bomb. Unfortunately, I didn't love this formula. The idea is great, and I love the healthy ingredients and how it does not contain aluminum, however I did not find it to last through a workout. I also found that due to the coconut oil content, I broke out (my skin is pretty sensistive to coconut oil, but I wasn't sure how it would work on my armpits). I wound up getting a fairly large, painful zit in my armpit from use and smaller breakouts.
I gave this to my boyfriend and while it does not cause him any breakouts, he also doesn't find it to be super-effective at blocking scent compared to other natural brands we've tried. He's saved this for "low activity" days.
I liked the light scent. I wasn't overwhelming at all, and I loved the smooth application and packaging was easy to use. Overall, I was really hoping this would be long-lasting but alas it was not to be for me. Would I buy it again? No - but I do love most of their other products!

I received this shampoo free to try in excahnge for a review.
Overall, this shampoo stacks up against its sulfate-free/vegan counterparts, but I wasn't in love. I felt it look a lot of shampoo to get a lather or feel like it spread throughout my hair (and I don't have that much, shoulder length) and that is wasn't super cleansing. I know this is true for a lot of sulfate-free shampoos, so it is good for what it is and is just as good as others I've tried. I just don't think sulfate-free is for me because I like to feel like I'm getting a lather, otherwise I don't feel like my hair is getting cleansed.
I also have fairly dry hair and did not find this to be super hydrating. I think I would have liked to try a sample of the conditioner with it to see how the two worked together. Overall though, It did not make my hair any softer or easier to de-tangle when used with my regular conditioner. I find this to be the case with shampoos without dimethicone or silicones, so I was not surprised, but for being advertised as "hydrating" I would have liked to feel like it was a little more moisturizing (the formula is also clear, not creamy).
I checked out the price online and found that for the amount you get, the price is somewhat steep at around 8-10 dollars CA. I do like other Garnier products and find them to be cost-effective and pack the punch (Butter Rich is awesome) but this just didn't do it for me. On the other hand, the bottle is adorable and I loved the look of the packaging.
I don't think I'd buy it again because I'm just too used to other shampoos and I do have a sulfate-free favourite already, but I'm always excited to try more eco-friendly versions of products.

I received this tea in the Eco Box to try in exchange for a review. I am not the wold's biggest Rooibos fan, but I was excited to try this one as it is a caramel flavour.
I liked the tea, but didn't love it or find it to be super sweet. I found the general taste of the rooibos a bit overpowering and didn't get a ton of the caramel notes, which I thought was a bit disappointing. I did not find it to be sugary sweet, which I did really appreciate, because I can decide whether I want to add my own sweeteners to the tea. Once milk and sugar is added, it becomes more of a creamy treat, but I wouldn't say it replaces dessert. thought the quality of the tea itself was fantastic, and the tea bags are made of a fine mesh with high quality leaves inside. It tasted very pure and clean - it wasn't muddied with artificial flavour, but I still didn't get a creamy caramel out of it.
I would not personally buy this flavour of tea again, however I was very impressed with the overall quality of the Teapig brand and would like to try their other flavours and varieties. For the price (Around 10.00) I thought it was comparable to other premium tea brands and liked that it came pre-bagged so I don't have to use a steeper

Note - I received the Lavender and Sage scent free to try in exchange for a review.
I have used natural deodorant before (Salt Crystal, Tom's of Maine) but have not liked any of them as much as Schmidt's. Although Schmidt's does contain baking soda (which has caused me issues in the past) I did not develop any kind of rash when using this formula. The Lavender scent is absolutely divine and very natural smelling. I noticed right away that it was much better smelling than fake antiperspirant scents.
The product is a little thick and goes on thicker than your typical antiperspirant, but is still fast-absorbing and non-sticky, which was great when using it before getting dressed. I noticed that the scent only lingered for about two hours before disappearing, however I did not find I was noticably stinky throughout the day. I am not a huge sweater - I don't work out super hard and don't sweat a ton throughout the day, so this worked for me. If I smelled my armpits closely I could smell BO, but it was not enough for anyone around me to smell. My only downside is that I might have to wash my clothing more often (sometimes you can get away with not washing a sweater/cardigan every time you wear it, but with this you might want to wash every time).
I would likely buy this again, but would probably not wear it on days when I plan to be super active, have a stressful or overly hot day. I would definitely choose this brand if I were to make a complete switch to natural deo, however I would probably continue to alternate depending on day and need. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family who want to make the switch, as the formula is great, the scent is on-point and it is much healthier for you body than traditional anti-perspirants.
I also compared the price, and found that this brand is only slightly more expensive than a regular priced antiperpirant. This is around $6-9 dollars depending on the store, wheras my regular choise is around $3-5 (depending on sale, size, etc). The price difference for the quality and amount of product does not bother me.
Overall, I really liked Schmidt's and would definitelyr repurchase!

I recieved this product free to review. I originally got this hoping it would help with PMS and body aches from sitting at my desk, but it's been a lifesaver as I've developped Strep throat as well. This is nice and easy to swallow as it is a gel-cap and works quickly. I felt it provided strong relief for about five hours from swelling and the intense throat pain. I did take it before getting sick and noticed it was effective in treating overall pain and inflammation in my arms from sitting at work all day. I like the product, and would definitely purchase again, but would probably wait until it went on sale. It is more expensive than the generic brands, but i like that it comes in a liquid gel rather than a coated pill. I will definitely look for this on sale for $14 or less and will make sure to keep it at work for fast-acting relief! -
