I received a full-sized sample pack of these makeup remover wipes from Simple and Chick Advisor. I was excited to try them because the regular brand I use from equate is okay, but tends to irritate my eyelids. These makeup wipes are really nice, they stay moist and remove makeup like a dream. They don't irritate my eyelids as much as my regular wipes, which is a plus. They still leave a bit of a feeling on your face like you still would want to wash your face, but you could definitely get away with just using one of these on nights when you just can't make the effort to wash your face. I really like these, but I wish they came with 30 in a pack instead of 25, because I would rather be able to get a full month out of a package, it just feels like the company wants you to buy it more often when you don't get 30 in the package. Overall, I will probably buy them again at some point when I run out of the 60 or so equate wipes I have left, unless my eyelids freak out too soon and I break down and buy them.

I received a coupon to try this product from Chick Advisor as part of their product review club. When I picked up the box at Wal-Mart, it was much lighter than the rest of the pails, including the usual brand of cat litter I use (which is not a lightweight brand).
This cat litter smells nice and seems to absorb odours well. In my opinion it is not 100% dust free, as stated. The granules are finer and lighter than other litters, which causes it to scatter easily beyond the litter box by the cat when it covers it’s business. Because of this, I found it very messy when scooping and would only use it in a covered litter box or a very large uncovered litter pan. If you have a crank-style self-cleaning box, a lot of the litter is lost when tilting the pan to dump the clumps in the lower level. I also did not find it clumped as well as what I currently use. The price on a 8.16 kg box was $13.00 Cdn. at Walmart. This is almost twice as much as what I pay for the litter I currently use. My two cats didn't want to go near it at first, and we ended up having to bring back their old litter as well. As the week went on, at least one of the cats used this littler multiple times, but I never caught my female cat using it, and she is very picky when it comes to her litter box, which is why I was excited to try and see if there were other brands we could use. Because of the price and how it falls apart more than it clumps, I probably wouldn't buy this unless it was on sale, but if your cat isn't picky and you like that it is more dust-free than most, this is definitely still a decent product.

If I could give this soap a zero, I would. I was told this was still hypo-allergenic and good for sensitive but acne prone skin. It lathered nicely, but has a lot of fragrance, and it felt a bit stingy on my eyes as I used it, but I thought nothing of it, since eyes are sensitive in general. My skin felt a bit dry and "squeaky" after using it but not awful. I did it again the next day and felt the sting on my eyes and eyelids again. I didn't love the feeling on my face again. When I woke up the next morning, my eyes were dry and sore. Over the next two weeks, my eyes have gotten progressively worse, they are red, especially in the crease, and are sore and stingy. Nothing I put on them soothes the skin, even my trusted aveeno eczema lotion. Everything burns, and putting on makeup is getting harder to do. I have only had this happen once before when I received a sample of clinique's laser focus eye serum. It seems that something in clinique's products does not work for me. Bottom line: Clinique is supposed to be hypo-allergenic and great for sensitive skin, and I'm sure it is, for a lot of people, but be careful using their products, they aren't a sure bet. -

This is a little natural gem. It is probably the best health-food/ natural store in the city. It is a small little maze that offers supplements, vitamins, foods, beauty products, you name it if it is natural or healthy. The staff is very helpful and can offer recommendations on products and help you navigate the store. When I visited, it seemed like there was a staff member in every section that asked if I needed help, which might seem overbearing, but if you don't know what you're looking for or what might be best for you, they're there to help. Prices are fair, the food items are a little pricey, but probably no more than you would pay at any other speciality health store. -

I've purchased five pairs of glasses from clearlycontacts.ca, and I've returned one pair. Their customer service is great, and they offer free returns. All you do is send them back (in original condition) and it takes about ten days to get your refund. They have great selection and great sizing tools to help you choose the best fit for you. I am always happy with the product that I receive, and they are always within tolerance on the prescription. I have only a few small complaints, which seem to get resolved the more the company grows.
1. The PD tool is not always the best, you're almost always smaller than what you think. If your script doesn't have a PD on it, the best thing to do is use a tape measure instead of the print out they have. I was actually two mm smaller than the first pair I purchased.
2. I purchased lenses with the kodak blue filter coating, and while it works, you can actually see that the coating was put on unevenly and it looks streaky on my lenses. it definitely makes a difference, and It doesn't bother me enough to have complained, but it looks like there was a defect in how they were coated that was missed.
3. If you don't live near one of the two stores, getting your glasses adjusted can be a pain. I don't feel comfortable going to a retailer with the glasses I purchased online to get them fit, especially considering it is an optician who will be fitting them for you and it is kind of a slap in the face that you can make their job unnecessary by ordering online. Most opticians would be offended to see you bringing in glasses from a retailer that causes their job to become obsolete. Metal frames are not so hard to bend, but plastics are a huge pain and you risk breaking them if you try and use heat on them yourself, not to mention possibly crazing your lenses.
Overall, I would order from them over and over. They continue to get new, fun, and edgy designs at prices that can't compete with mall retailers, especially when they have sales and promotions. I wouldn't really recommend using it for progressive lenses, only because without an optician, it is hard to get an accurate segmentation measurement, so I can see there being a lot of issues with them, but if you have single vision, have at it.

I bought this in combination with the pre-wash conditioner. As I've said in the previous review, I don't always like Tresemme products, but this one was really good. The shampoo is not as creamy or heavy as I've found their other shampoos to be. I was wondering whether it was actually the same shampoo as their other lines, but I was wrong. The shampoo is much lighter than their other products and it has a great green apple smell. I don't think you need very much of this, so a little will go a long way. I've only used it twice so far, but I am hoping I will be able to get more time between washes if there is less product weighing it down. I currently wash every day but wish I could stretch it out to every other day, but my hair is fairly thin and shows grease fast. I really like this system so far and my hair feels very soft even though I used shampoo after the conditioner, so I'm not worried about my hair drying out. -

I was skeptical of this system, I've never had great results with Tresemme products in the past, but this seemed too interesting to pass up. A lot of beauty websites have been hyping/promoting this shampoo and conditioner system, and Chrissy Tiegen even got on board. I've used it for two days now and I really like it. The conditioner goes on fairly slippery and is easy to distribute, but you can tell it is made up of something other than the typical conditioners you would use. My theory is that there is more silicones in it so that it doesn't dissolve too much when you use the shampoo. Either way, it works well in combination with the shampoo. My only complaint is that the conditioner bottle is a lot smaller than the shampoo, pretty much guaranteeing that you'll run out of it before you run out of shampoo. I paid $5.98 at wal-mart for it, which is a little more than I usually spend on conditioner. I just wish it was a larger size since I usually use more conditioner than shampoo. -

LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. I buy this by the two's so I always have it in stock at my house. Nothing adds lightweight shine and softness like this serum! I either use this or damp hair or dry hair and it works well both ways. It keeps those little fly-aways under control and adds slip and shine to my hair. It makes it incredibly soft and smooth and helps it from tangling up all day. My hair texture is fairly thin, but I have a good amount of it and it is that kind-of-straight-kind-of-wavy texture that is prone to getting frizzy in humidity and this definitely helps keep it under control. I mostly love how soft and slippery this makes my hair. I wouldn't use it if you need to style your hair into something that needs some "grit" to hold onto elastics, pins or curls, because it does make it a little too slippery for doing some styles. I like to wear my hair down and either straight or slightly curled, and this keeps it shiny and polished looking. If I use it on dry hair I only use a very small amount, rub it in my palms and put it on the ends first and use the left-overs on the rest including roots so it doesn't weigh it down too much. I like to brush it through with a boar bristle brush to help distribute the product through my hair as well, especially if I've added too much to the roots. I will admit I've also used this product to give my legs and arms a nice sheen in the summer (I discovered this works well after accidentally pumping out too much product and rubbing it into my legs because there were no towels around). It is very silicone-y, so it is slippery and a bit shiny, and definitely gives your skin a nice glow without being too oily like coconut oil can do! -

I've used this product for a few years and I think it is one of the best toothpastes to re-create the dentist-clean feeling. There is a gritty-ness to it that is really similar to the polish the dentists use. I like the texture and the amount it foams in the mouth--not too much but not too little. The taste isn't as strong as other toothpastes, and it took a bit of getting used to, it left my mouth with a different feel than other pastes, but I still keep using it. My only real complaint is that it contains SLS, which does make my lips really dry in the winter. I've since switched to Sensodyne Pronamel because it doesn't contain SLS, but it doesn't feel as clean as the Pro-health! The real issue for me is that the box and tube don't contain any "non-medical ingredients" on it. In fact, no crest products have anything other than the medical ingredients listed, so if you have allergies or sensitivities to certain products/chemicals/fillers, it might be hard to know what's in there. I still love crest products, but I wish they were a little more transparent with their ingredient lists. -

I've always wanted to love Burt's Bees original, but there's something about it that doesn't work with me. I think the menthol might be too irritating for me, but I've had luck with their lipglosses. This product is a little too thick and I feel like it just sits on my lips and feels heavy. It works if you've got really chapped lips and you're going out in the cold, because it really does create a barrier between your lips and the dry air. Versions of this without the mint seem to work better for me, but overall I still prefer a non-beeswax variety of lip balm. -
