I picked this up the other day because my skin has been assaulted with dryness this winter. I've never used a night cream before, and I was a little concerned that I was too young to use one, or that it would clog my pores.
This product comes in a cardboard box, and I only thought to check after I bought it if it was oil-free and non-comedegonic. I couldn't find it anywhere on the box, but I'd also thrown away the receipt so I decided to try it. I didn't experience any adverse effects on my skin, so I'm assuming it is not going to clog your pores.
The first thing that hit me about the product was its smell. It's very perfume-y, I could only describe it as an "old lady smell", but I don't mind if it's something I'm just using at night! My brother and mother say it smells more like baby-powder to them, so it's possible I'm just insane! :P
It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, and it moisturizes very well. I'm having some issues with VERY dry skin, so I have to apply a second layer in some spots, which is no fault of the product.
I am pretty impressed with my first night moisturizer, though I think I'll purchase a less smelly one next time!

I actually only have one of these pigments, but totally intend to buy more when I get the chance! I bought mine about a year ago, just days before they downsized the product, but kept the price the same (strange move if you ask me!). My product is 7.5 g, or .26 oz.
I love how versatile this product is! It can be applied pretty heavily for a shiny, futuristic look, or more subtle for an everyday look that is still glamorous. You only need a little bit of the product, so this should definitely last you a long time!
Application wise, you definitely need to apply this product with a "patting" motion rather than a sweeping one. This will allow it to go on more evenly!
One problem I have with this is how easy it would be to drop it and lose everything in the pot! I have done this before but was able to get most of it back in, and I've been very paranoid ever since about dropping it.

I heard about pore strips from several Youtubers mentioning them in their videos, but I had no idea how they worked and I really didn't have much of an interest in them. However, while at the drugstore recently, I saw them there and I decided to give them a try. I bought the 8 pack first, just in case I didn't end up liking them. The price was a little steep for the 8.
I wasn't sure how they worked until I looked them up online later that evening. I was so grossed out! In case you don't know, the pore strips work by pulling out the entire blackhead! Gross! I was a little put off, but I didn't want my money to go to waste so I decided to give it a try.
I ended up loving it! I didn't seem to have that many blackheads on my nose, but afterwards my skin felt so soft and tingly! I hear that they're pretty harsh on your skin, so don't use them more than every three days. I'm already excited to use them again!
Biore's pore strips seem to be by far the most popular (at least in North America), so I would advise getting this brand.
A word of warning: don't use an acne spot treatment on the area where you used the pore strip right after you use it! I would advise waiting at least 24 hours. I used benzoyl peroxide on the area a few hours later, and it resulted in a chemical burn on my face! Ouch!
Aside from that blunder which was entirely my fault, this product is amazing!

This quad is an essential in any makeup kit, no matter the colour! Since I own just one (Sunlit Bronze), I'll be focusing my review on that one.
The quad comes in blue casing with a clear front and the shade name near the bottom, holding the package shut. Each quad has a lid colour, a crease colour, a colour for the outer corner, and a highlight. The back has instructions for four different looks using these colours, each one more dramatic than the last.
This quad however, is PERFECT for everyday. It will look good on all skin tones and eye colours, and is super easy to use. Forget about the sponge tip applicator it comes with, and use a fluffy eye shadow brush instead. You can, of course, use these colours all together, or separately for different looks (that's a no-brainer!)
When I wear this quad, I tend not to use the brown colour it comes with, as I feel it looks muddy on my skin tone. I use the the lighter gold on my lid, the darker bronze on my crease (and outer corner, replacing the brown colour), and the highlight shade on my brow bone and inner corner.
I would definitely recommend this, it's a great buy for the price and you can definitely get a lot of use out of it.

This product comes in a slim, black package that is VERY ergonomic. The eyeshadows fill up nearly the entire palette, and it comes with a large mirror built in. There is very little wasted space, and you could use it for applying other makeup as well, with the mirror.
This palette comes with a whopping TEN shadows designed specifically to look good on those of use with blue eyes, though I'm assuming all different eye colours could use these shadows and make them work. It's an amazing deal for the price.
All of the eyeshadows are shimmery, only one has noticeable glitter in it, and when swatched the glitter doesn't really show up that much. They are all very soft and have a medium pigmentation. They're somewhat sheer when blended out but they're very easy to layer for a heavier look.
The shadow colours are somewhat diverse, with a navy-blue, gray blue, midnight blue (with some noticeable blue gitter), peacock blue, and silver along the top; and a light shimmery off white, deep gold, rusty-burgundy red, taupe, and a lighter gold along the bottom.
The only gripe I have with this palette were the two deep blues at the top. They weren't pigmented enough (although with enough layering it's possible to work with) and they fell very easily to below the eye.
All in all, this palette is DEFINITELY worth the buy. It's inexpensive for this large a palette, and with a good amount of product, you can get some use out of it for sure.

What initially caught my eye about this product was it's colourful, childlike design. The sparkly purples and pinks had the appeal of the toys of my youth, and I couldn't resist picking it up! Another interesting aspect of the package is its unique wand design. There is technically only ONE wand in this mascara, but with the way it's designed, there might as well be two! I was at first confused about how it worked, until a MAC Rep explained it to me:
The PINK handle draws the mascara wand through a narrow tube, taking off a good amount of the product. While this may at first seem like a bad thing, it actually allows for a more subtle look. When the PURPLE handle is used, a large amount of product is drawn and it can be used for a more dramatic look.
I've used this twice so far, once with the pink and once with the purple. I like using the pink handle more, since it deposits less product and you're less likely to smear it. I was in a rush when I used the purple handle, and I did experience a small smudge, however this could be due to my hurried application. My eyelashes felt wet for several seconds after applying it, so I would recommended waiting a few seconds after application to allow it to dry. For this reason I would DEFINITELY advise curling your lashes FIRST.
The formula itself felt great on my eyes; I have very sensitive skin and many mascaras make me want to tear my eyelashes out. This mascara is a definite exception.
My eyelashes look great all day (or night, in my case), and they didn't clump up at all.
I would definitely recommend to someone who likes to work with a variety of eye makeup looks, or someone who just wants a pretty, functional mascara in their makeup bag!
