Last November, I attended a beauty event entitled "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I had the opportunity to meet a Toronto-based Korean beauty products curator - daint. I received a FLOAT mask bundle from the brand PACKage and it included a set of Everyday Bouncy Face Masks.
I was excited to see the adorable packaging but also, the list of ingredient was the highlight of these sheet masks. They are made with honey and propolis extract, and hyaluronic acid! The mask was quite thin but it was surprisingly very moisturizing even after 30 minutes. It felt as if the essence from the honey and propolis was able to create a barrier to keep the hyaluronic acid locked into the skin. I've used this mask before my makeup routine, my skin remained soft and hydrated throughout the day!

Using sheet masks have become so convenient to use on a daily basis and when I attended "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment, I received Annie's Way Calendula + Chamomile Softening Jelly Mask. I asked myself, can this jelly mask replace my love for sheet masks or clay masks?
The jelly mask has a gel texture which reminded me a lot of aloe vera gel. It also came with a spatula so, it can easily be scooped out from the package. I personally prefer using my fingers, since it's easier to put the gel around the nose area. The very first thing that I've noticed is that the inflammation on my cheeks has reduced tremendously! The spatula comes in handy when removing the dirt from my pores and I can see that my pores have visibly shrunk. Even though sheet masks are easier than the process of applying a jelly mask and removing it afterwards, I would still reach for the jelly mask because my drying skin remained so soft and moisturized. I really like that Annie's Way jelly masks come in travel-size format, then I can actually try out all the different jelly masks from the brand!

We always use serums for the face but, I have to admit that I would have never thought lashes and brows needed serums until I attended "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I received Luna Nectar's Moon Boost Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum.
I was eager to try out the serum and it's 100% natural ingredients such as: arginine, argan oil, red clover extract, algae extract, burdock root extract and castor oil. After using the serum for 4 weeks, I've noticed that my lower lashes are longer and they don't look as sparse anymore. I do have long upper lashes to begin with, however I did see a slight change in the upper lashes where they seem to have become a bit thicker!
I used to pluck the ends of by brows and due to the frequent plucking, they tend to grow slower and more sparse. So, I've been using quite of bit of the serum on my brows and I can see small little brow hairs growing! Also, I've been receiving compliments on my eyebrows recently and I believe it's due to the Moon Boost Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum!

I attended a beauty event entitled "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I received a very cute packaged of nose strips from daint, a Korean beauty products curator based in Toronto. The nose strips came from a Korean brand - PACKage and I was expecting those nose strips where you have to peel them off. However, it was similar to a sheet mask but for the nose, and it came in a pack of four nose strips. I don't have a lot of blackheads but I do have some white heads, and I could see that they have diminish quite a bit by the time I was using the last nose strips from pack. I did like these melting nose strips more than the peeling ones because they weren't drying the skin around my nose after using them. I also absolutely love the essence, it was so soothing and had a minty cooling sensation.

Last November, I attended "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I received a Deep Hydrating Lotion Mask from the brand DR. HSIEH. This is a Taiwanese brand curated by Miirushop and the mask is part of the Energy of Fruit and Veg mask series.
The minute I saw that the mask was actually made with aloe, avocado, cucumber, watermelon and loofah, I knew I will fall in love with the mask! Not only the ingredients are carefully sourced from farms in Taiwan, but the refreshing scent of the mask made me feel like I was in a garden of fresh vegetables. The essence from the mask was creamy and light, I personally prefer this texture of essence because it kept my skin moisturized and soft until the next morning. I also liked that there was quite a bit of the creamy essence left in the package so that I can pat it onto my face after finishing with the mask. The essence of this mask really helped nourish my dry skin due to the cold weather.
The other two masks that is part of the Energy of Fruit and Veg mask series is the Brightness Radiance Lotion mask and the Reducing Wrinkle Lotion Mask. Now, that I've tried the veggie mask, I'm definitely looking forward to purchase the other two masks because they are made with fruits!

Last November, I attended a beauty event entitled "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I received a box of face masks by Feelxo Beauty that contained 5 different masks, where each mask had its own skincare benefits!
Every masks that I needed for my sensitive and dry skin was inside that beautifully packaged box, it had an Hydra Rose Mask, a Firming Camellia Mask, a Pore Care Lotus Mask, a Glowing Marigold Mask and a Charcoal Nose Mask. Not only every face mask had different floral recipes that benefit the skin using floral extracts and natural ingredients, I also liked that I got to try the different type of face masks such as microfiber, coconut gel and charcoal. The overall complexion of my sensitive skin had definitely improved and felt like it rejuvenated. After using the five different face masks, without a doubt, I need to pamper my skin with a box of Feelxo Beauty's 5-Day "ALL in ONE" Skincare Program more regularly!

I'm one of those people with super drying hands in the Winter and I remember I used to put hand cream at night and then wear a pair of gloves in order to ensure that my hands stay moisturized. I received a hand mask from the brand Face Q when I attended the "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment last November. Face Q is brand curated by Miirushop, which is an online store that curates Taiwanese skincare products.
I was a bit skeptical and wondered how the results would be after using this hand mask for only 30 minutes. I was glad that the rose scent wasn't too overpowering and I liked that it lingered on my hands after removing the mask. I was surprised at how soft my hands were afterwards and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. My hands remained moisturized even after a few days and I knew I needed to stock up on theses hand masks from Miirushop during Winter times!

I attended the "Beauty date x MTL" event hosted by Skinvestment and during the beauty event, one of the most innovative product introduced to us was the Gofun Nail Polish by Ueba Esou.
I was in disbelief when I heard that this Japanese brand produces water-based nail polishes! It was pleasant to put on the nail polish without that strong toxic smell and yet, it was so opaque with only one layer of nail polish. I also like that the nail polish dries up very quickly and it doesn't need to use a nail polish remover because a lot of them contains acetone or other chemicals which can damage the nails. I can't wait for my next beauty haul and get myself a few Ueba Esou Gofun nail polishes from Luxella - a Japanese beauty products curator!

I've attended a beauty event entitled "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment last year and I didn't expected to receive FARMACY’s Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm. I have to admit that this has been a product which I've seen at Sephora countless of times and wondered if it's as good as it claims to be - a cleansing balm that can remove the toughest and waterproof makeup.
I really liked how gentle the cleansing balm felt on the skin. I was able to remove every bits of makeup, including my stubborn liquid eyeliner which I usually need to grab the eye makeup cleanser to completely remove it. It made removing makeup so effortless and leaves the skin very soft without any residual makeup. So, I usually wouldn't even do a second cleanse when I use the cleansing balm. There is a citrus-y scent to it, however it didn't irritate my skin at all. It was also a nice touch of FARMACY to include a spatula with the cleansing balm!

I'm definitely not short on mists or sprays, however I still haven't found one that I would use on a daily basis until I attended the "Beauty date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment and I received Esthederm's Cellular Water Spray from the beauty event.
I thought it would just like any other sprays and mists which I've used in the past but I was wrong! I can finally say that I found the one! The Cellular Water Spray reminds me of foggy days and I've always loved those days because the mist would hydrate my face. So, I was trying to find a mist or spray that reminded of that sensation on my skin. This spray from Esthederm does exactly that! The water droplets from the spray is so fine and microscopic as it lays on my skin. It was so refreshing and it was very hydrating. I only apply it once in the morning, but I can easily see myself obsessed with the spray and start carrying it with me every day!
