I've been looking for an SPF that can double up as a primer and City Block for Clinique is an excellent choice. It feels quite creamy and moisturising but not too thick, and leaves my skin bright and dewy looking. The slight tint seems to help with this and lightly covers any imperfections so I can wear it without makeup over the top. I have oily combination skin and I was worried that it would make my skin oilier or look shiny but I haven't found this to be the case. Also hasn't broken me out. It does take quite a while to dry properly, so when I want to wear make-up over the top I need plenty of time to let it settle, otherwise it could mess up my foundation (especially as I often wear powder foundation, liquid foundation probably wouldn't be so bad). Other than the drying time the only downside is this is SPF25, would be good if it could have been SPF30, and also I'm not sure how the tint would be on darker skin tones, or even very fair tones? -

I have really dry frizzy wavy hair, and with being in lockdown for almost the past year and not being able to get a haircut my hair has grown very long.. and I noticed my hair getting more and more weighed down which was stretching out the waves.
This conditioner is a life-saver! My hair feels so moisturised after using and has none of the weigh down I get with more heavy conditioners.
Also this conditioner has worked great for co-washing too - aloe vera is one of the main ingredients and my hair and scalp feel clean after co-washing with this.
The smell is a little unusual but I quite liked it once I had gotten used to it.
I just wish they did this in a larger bottle, I get through it quickly!

I was suffering with redness on my cheeks everytime I went out in the cold, so I bought this in conjunction with the moisturiser from the same range (which I highly recommend) for some protection from the elements and to tone down the redness.
It definitely helped tone down any redness, but as for solving the problem I think that may be more down to the moisturiser and I'm not sure it gave anymore protection than my usual SPF.
Wearing it on it's own it made me look really pale and washed out - almost a bit ill! I have a warm skin tone though so that might be why, if you have a cooler tone perhaps it won't have that effect? But it is a primer so it's meant as a base anyway. And under make-up it is great at getting rid of any underlying redness, even for spots!
I wouldn't use this all over my face as it is too thick as a primer for my oily skin - I only use it on areas that need it.
It is a bit expensive being Clinique but with the small amounts I need it will last a long time.

In the last year every time I went out into the cold I would come back and have red lumpy skin on my cheeks - something I've never had before. It would last a couple of days, and then flare up again when I went out into the cold. My cheeks also ended up very dry which was new to me having very oily skin normally.
I eventually suspected it may be the start of mild rosacea - and read about Clinique's redness solutions range as a recommended brand for rosacea.
I'm so happy I bought this cream, it cleared up the problem almost instantly! I started putting it on every evening just on my cheeks as a sort of night cream, then on mornings when I knew I would be out in the cold and again as soon as I got back indoors. And amazingly no more red lumpy dry skin on my cheeks!
It is quite expensive being clinique, but as I only use it sparingly on my cheeks it should last me a long time.
If you can afford it I would highly recommend it.

I'm amazed at the difference, normally after a few hours my face feels shiny again but since using this my face is matte all day.
Only negative points are that the tube is small for the price (I always wait to buy on offer) and they don't do a larger size.
And this brand isn't cruelty free which is such a shame as nothing is better for my sensitive oily blemish prone skin.

I think it would be too harsh for daily use or for people with dry skin, but I use it 1-2 times a week and it helps keeps my skin feeling smooth and clean. Doesn't feel too abrasive and also doesn't strip my skin.
Even better this brand has been certified cruelty free.
Like the smell too!
