L'Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oil Shampoo
Loved trying this shampoo (and conditioner). My looked and felt great, after each use, it was smooth and shiny and did not feel as dry as before. Easy to style as I usually do, and great scent. Would love to try more from this line. #freeproduct

L'Oréal Paris Hair Expertise 6 Nutri Oils Extraordinary Oil Conditioner
Loved this conditioner by L'Oreal. It left my hair feeling smooth and soft, and smelled like relaxing day on the beach. My hair was easy to style and shined all day long! Great line, I would love to try other products from this line.

Revlon Volumazing Mascara
Easy to build volume and thickness with this mascara. Very rich color and great brush. It leaves my eyelashes looking full, longer and just overall really nice. Got this for free to test it out.

Mackage (Toronto Eaton Centre)
I went to Mackage on Monday afternoon to spend the $100 I was sent. I was greeted right away by a friendly sales associate, offering to help me. I did not have anything in mind to buy, and altough I looked at the website before I went, nothing... +
I went to Mackage on Monday afternoon to spend the $100 I was sent. I was greeted right away by a friendly sales associate, offering to help me. I did not have anything in mind to buy, and altough I looked at the website before I went, nothing specific caught my eye.
I browsed the accessories, the wallets and purses, hats and scarves and some jackets. I tried on 5 jackets in different colors, styles and sizes. The prices ranged from $600 to $1000 per jacket. Hats were $195, and a scarf was $95, wallets were $200. I ended up buying the Patsy Jacket in black which was $666 with taxes in. The jacket was very flattering and on the thinner side which I liked a lot. They had in black, with leather trim and paprika. I found it too expensive for what it was ( a simple thin jacket made in China) and I am sure I wouldn't have bought it without the $100 incentive.
Overall, the experience in the store was meh, underwhelming...for such a high end store at the top of Eaton Centre, I was expecting much more. The sale associates were friendly and helpful, but it was the same experience I would have gotten at a much lower priced store. I feel that the difference between low end stores and high end stores is the experience you get, since we all know the product doesn't cost 15 more times to make at the high end plce. Here I feel they failed to deliver an orginial, unique and fun experience. Their coats are just ok at best, either very trendy in color and style, or simple classic colors...again nothing special, nothing that you can't find at Zara for example.
I am not sure which target demographic they are hoping to appeal to, but if it is the millenial customer, I don't think they are succeeding, and that they have a long way to go.

NYX Cosmetics Dewy Finish Setting Spray
I am a big fan or setting sprays, ever since I discovered them, I can't get enough. I have dry skin, so this add a little of extra moisture and makes my makeup look more natural, and less powdery. A must have for sure! #gotitfree

NYX Cosmetics Worth The Hype Mascara
Classic volume and lenghtening mascara, nice simple brush, easy to apply. This is a good drugstore staple to complete a makeup look. It applied evenly and did not smudge.

Great little product, easy to apply, very fine, and lots of range of shades. I like this for a simple natural look, on a day to day basis. Great for people who don't want to be too fussy, but still want to fill their brows in.

Interesting lip product, very pigmented, and not drying at all. I got the shade strawberry whip, and it is a nice darker pink color. It was hard to choose a shade, since many were darker than I normally wear, and the others were "too nude". Overall... +
