I had a chance to try out Dove Ultracare Creme "Concentrated+ Repair" conditioner for thick and extremely damaged hair. I received this product free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. My hair is very long, thick, and has been colour treated (blonde highlights) in the past, leaving it dry, damaged and lacklustre. This conditioner did a great job at hydrating my hair and left it feeling soft and looking shiny after just one use. My hair was also easier to comb out than it usually is after using this conditioner. I have two critiques: This conditioner has a very strong scent (a fake, perfumey, fruity scent) and it is noticeable even when the bottle is closed! Secondly, the conditioner is a bit difficult to rinse out since it is so thick. #gotitfree -

I had the opportunity to try Powerbar's plant protein snack bars from Chickadvisor. I usually love the classic chocolate peanut butter flavour combination so I was really excited to try these. However, I found the peanut butter way too sweet and it didn't compliment the chocolate well, leading to this snack being sickeningly sweet. If it was made with unsweetened peanut butter that would be preferable. -

The cashews and salted caramel worked well together and the snack bar left me feeling full and energized. I would prefer if the sugar content was reduced to make these bars healthier. -

My one critique is that the snack bar is a bit too sweet for my taste. -

As an ice cream lover who prefers to avoid dairy, I was super excited to try this ice cream. I was selected to try the vanilla peanut butter variety. I really wanted to like this, but the texture was not satisfying at all. Instead of being creamy, it tasted like it had been badly freezer burned (it was not). The peanut butter filling was a weird sauce texture and was overly sweet/fake tasting. I'm happy there are more dairy free ice creams to try but I think Breyers fell short on this one. -

I don't wear foundation everyday, but when I do I am often disappointed in the application which usually emphasizes blemishes instead of covering them! By applying the Nude by Nature perfecting primer prior to applying my foundation, I really noticed a difference in my skin's texture and my foundation's longevity. The primer is easy to apply and goes on smoothly! I definitely recommend this primer! -

The pastelizer allows you ultimate flexibility with selecting a shade. I opted for a lighter blue to better complement my natural hair colour and complexion. Application was super easy! I'm really satisfied with the finished product and would love to experiment with more colours in the future! -

I am not big on applying makeup with brushes, so these shadows are a great fit for me because finger application results in great pigment! Also minimal fallout and super long-lasting. Can't recommend these shadows enough! -
