NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer

NYX has been taking over my makeup bag lately, so of course when I saw this new primer, I had to get my hands on it. As soon as I saw the name, Hourglass’ Mineral Veil Primer instantly came to mind. The drastic price difference made me so curious as to if NYX’s primer would perform as well as Hourglass’. I was amazed to find how similar the texture is. It’s lightweight and velvety. However, be warned, it may look a bit ashy if you have a darker skin tone. My skin’s appearance looked flawless after my foundation application. It did a really good job of blurring my pores and smoothing my skin’s texture. It does also claim to mattify, but I do have dry skin, so that wasn’t a concern for me. It also did wear pretty well throughout the day.
In comparison to the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer, I would say that the NYX Primer is a really really good dupe, considering the price. However, if you are of a deeper skin tone I would recommend the Hourglass primer to avoid any white cast.
I would definitely repurchase this primer again!

Lately, I’ve been hunting for a good pore minimizing primer. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the Dr. Brandt Pores No More primer, so I figured I might as well give in and see what the big deal is. I tested out for a week during my intense work days and I must say, I am quite impressed! It feels light on my skin and works better than my Smashbox Photofinish Primer to blur out my giant pores. I found it lasted much longer and held my makeup together better as well! I did, however, find it to be quite drying. But, it was nothing my First Aid Beauty moisturizer couldn’t fix! It is a bit pricier but a little goes a long way. -
Kiehl's Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque
Amazing product! You can really feel it going to work! My skin always looks more radiant after every use. My only issue with this product is the cranberry seeds almost need to be scraped off my face, they harden onto the skin

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector
This product is a bit tougher to blend but once you warm it into your skin it gets easier to use. I love the tone of pink. The tone along with the consistency is perfect for hiding my discolorations.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
I love the longevity of this foundation. It lasts me all day and fades nicely. It perfects my skin without it looking cakey. Rather than masking it, it enhances it! Although I'm not a fan of the price, I do feel that it's worth the money

NARS Blush
This blush is a must-have in my makeup bag! The finish is gorgeous and photographs beautifully! Although pricey, it lasts an extremely long time. Definitely worth the money. If you don't own this blush, you are missing out!!!!
