This gorgeous nail polish is one of the darkest blues I have ever found, but it is still a very true blue colour. It is like a royal blue on steroids, and it is a sheer style polish, not a creme. It makes for a very unique look, with an almost gel like consistency.
That said, it is a little more sheer than other polishes and does need a third coat for full and complete coverage. Two coats looks just fine until the light hits it and then it may look a little bit patchy depending on if you had any overlap during your application.
It fits perfectly into what I was looking for and it was an amazing value for only $3 for a full size bottle. It is super deep, just bright enough when light hits it and applies super incredibly smooth. I adore this shade and I am happy with every part of it, even the needing an extra coat.

This polish has multicoloured hexagonal glitter with smaller silver glitter around it in a slightly sheer black polish base. The glitter are deeper colours rather than pastel or bright colours, and looks very whimsical. It actually looks fairly subtle until you catch a glimpse in direct light. Then it is very shimmery and reflects very well.
This polish actually gets very good coverage with just one coat, which makes it very good for use in nail art. In order to get the best appearance of this polish though it does need to be on a larger section of the nail. The finished texture is very smooth and almost gel like, a thicker style of polish. It appears to be a younger looking polish but works well even for adults in professional settings if used right.

It dries a little slower than I'd like, but that is likely just due to the fact that I am used to nail polishes that dry pretty quickly. It gets good coverage with two coats, and dries very nicely, smooth and hard.
I don't remember the price of this polish so I cannot comment on the value of it, but I am very happy with the quality and effectiveness of this polish.

I was extremely disappointed with this nail polish. I made my purchase at Dollarama, so I knew I should not have very high expectations, but after purchasing other polishes that I was very happy with at Dollarama I had my hopes set slightly too high.
I bought the set with several nude type shades, one slightly more pink, one slightly more yellow, one classic ivory nude and one more neutral light nude. The colours are very pretty, but I was disappointed with the application and results.
The brushes are just not quite right, a little too thick and the formula is also very thick and slightly sticky. I think there was some debris in the polish as well, as it did not apply too smoothly and I was left with some little tiny bumps in the surface of the polish. It was also very sheer and would require several more coats for a full "creamy" looking polish like the colour suggests.
I really wanted to like these polishes because the colours were exactly what I was looking for, but I am not sure what I am going to do about them now that I have tried them and had some issues. I may try thinning them and see if that helps at all, as I could probably deal with making multiple coats if it were going to apply fairly well.

I received this nail polish as a stocking stuffer. It was purchased at Dollarama for $2, and for the price I cannot complain at all about the quality of this polish.
The colours are gorgeous, light blue and purple glitter in a clear polish base. When applying with the brush in the bottle, it is quite thin and not many sparkles are transferred onto the nails. However, this can be remedied by using a non-latex makeup sponge after applying a first layer. By painting the polish onto the end of the sponge and then dabbing the sponge onto the nails, the glitter will be transferred onto the nails while the polish base is absorbed by the sponge. By using that application process I got great coverage with the glitter, and I am very pleased with the appearance of this polish.
I would definitely buy this particular colour again. It lives up to the Sally Hansen name, and it fits the Hard as Nails line well. It definitely is good quality, and I am extremely happy with the value being able to purchase it at Dollarama.

I bought this to use as a winterizing spray for new suede ankle boots I received as a present. I had in the past used a shoe store brand, but was unable to find and purchase the same spray again. This spray I got at a local Walmart, and it was around $10.
It is a much larger bottle than the previous brands I have used, and I was pleased with the application process. I applied an extra layer on top of the two that the bottle recommends. I let it dry for an hour or so between each layer. After wearing my boots for a few times since then, I am very pleased with the results as well. No water has made it through to my feet, whereas in the past with the other brands I've used I've had issues with spots not being covered and having wet spots.
I believe I will be able to get a few more pairs of shoes completely covered and waterproofed with this one bottle, so the value of this bottle improves even more with that. I think if I get a total of 4 more pairs coated I would be completely happy with the $2 per pair value, and I am almost certain I will achieve this, if not more than that.
I will report back if the sprays wears off or if anything else worth noting comes up.

This is an absolutely spectacular styling tool. I have listed it as a flat iron, but it is so much more than that.
Instead of the regular flat plates on an average flat iron, this styler has rounded edges on the ceramic plates and additional plates on the outside of the wand around the sides. It is intended to be used as a straightener, and also to create waves and curls.
The styler has multiple heat settings, and has recommendations for different hair types as to which temperature is necessary. The styler reaches the temperature very quickly, and maintains the heat even when in use. Due to the temperatures reached and the shape of the plates, it is important to be careful with the styler as it would be quite easily to burn yourself, and possibly quite badly if you're not very aware of where it is. You need to be careful where you grab it when trying to create waves and curls.
In order to make curls with this styler, it is used in the same way as when a regular flat iron is used to make curls. A small section of hair is grabbed and placed within the plates, and then the styler is turned so that the hair wraps around. Then, you pull the styler down the length of the hair while turning the styler. It does take a bit of time practicing to get a hang of it, but it creates very nice, softer curls once you've got a hang of it. The waves are created by turning the styler just slightly instead of all the way around.
The brand makes claims that their styler emits negative ions to make your hair more conditioner and healthier looking, along with silky/frizz-free appearance, and also that it uses infrared heating from the inside out for best results, but I honestly have no idea how true this is or can be. I am not reviewing this product in regards to these claims at this time. If in the future I spend some more time looking into it, I will add to this review.
I will also add to this review as I have more experience with creating the curls and waves, to mention if I have luck in creating different looks or types of curls other than the softer round curls I currently have.
Overall, I really do like this styling tool and I am very excited to use it more.

It has a strong scent to it, which certainly could be too much if you're not careful at how much you use. It has considerable staying power, partially due to that fact. It's not an unpleasant smell by any stretch, but it could be overwhelming to some. It has citrus undertones, but a little bit of musk helps to make it smell more masculine. It is certainly athletic smelling, which fits well with the branding of the product.

This is the only body mist that I have purchased again and again. I purchased it for the first time as a 12-year-old, and I have literally 3 full size bottles and 1 travel size bottle in my house right now as an almost 20-year-old!
The name is very fitting because this body mist has a very romantic type smell. It is floral, light and feminine. I enjoy wearing it, and know very few other people who have ever used it. It makes me feel quite happy just wearing it.

This is a fantastic hair lightening powder. It works much better than the regular drug store pre-measured and pre-mixed lighteners/bleaches.
It has very good value, especially if purchased in a larger container at a beauty supply. It is very convenient because it comes with a scoop for one portion of the lightening powder. It mixes well, and gives off very little dust just as claimed.
It also says it is a conditioning formula, which I can believe as my hair has never felt fully stripped or ruined after using it. I have used this lightening powder several times, including to bring my hair to a near white tone in order to dye my hair blue or purple or extremely light pink afterwards, and I have had great success each time I've used it. It does not bring your hair to a perfect neutral colour but it does do fairly well to lighten without making your hair too brassy. It can easily be remedied with a toner or toning shampoo.
It mixes with any developer to make a nice and thick mixture. It is smooth and covers hair well. It does not have a horribly harsh smell to it, though it is still not exactly fresh smelling. This is to be expected of a strong chemical lightener though and it is not a complaint.
I am extremely satisfied with this product after many uses of both it and other lightening powders and in the future I will continue to purchase this product.
