This is a great lipstain - I prefer these much more than the covergirl and revlon lip stains I have:

- these. are. so. cheap!!!!!! wayyyy cheaper than revlon or cover girl (but you do get less product)
- they come in an amazing shade of colours! I have grapefruit (lt pink), watermelon (darker pink), tangerine (soft orange), apple (soft red), and red (bright, true red) . "red" is great for wearing under a shiny red lipstick for a night out, and the other colours are everyday colours, that look natural with a hint of "je ne sais quoi", I wear them to university nearly every day.
- the buildability of the colours. if I want to wear them sheerly, I put a swipe on and blot immediately as needed, i can wear them "true to colour", or wait 30 seconds for them to dry and put on an extra coat if i want to pump up the colour. this is one area where covergirl especially cannot stand up to joe.
- weartime: i can wear these from 8 to 4 if i re-apply after eating, they last about 5 hours without eating
- they actually show up on my pigmented lips!
- arent as drying as covergirl.
LEAVE:
- literally nothing! each time i go to superstore i always pick up one or two more colours. FANTASTIC!!!!!
OVERALL: buy. these. lipstains. if you're wary, start out with grapefruit - a soft pink that looks good on everyone!

I got this product free with my most recent visit to my dentist. "THE DENTIST GIVES OUT MAKEUP?" you say? well - this covergirl lipgloss is infused with crest mint oils, so apparently crest gave it to my dentist to give out.
LOVE:
- i LOVE the strong minty smell and taste of this lip gloss, it almost feels like i'm chewing gum!
- it's non-sticky: it passes my "hair in the wind" test
- its freaking CHEAP! (even thought i got this one for free, i'll definitely re-purchase
- it doesn't dry my lips out
- the wear time on this for me is between 2 and 3 hours: pretty awesome for a non-sticky drugstore lip gloss!
LEAVE:
- i wish they made versions without shimmer. i am the type of girl who prefers solid glossy colour without shimmer, but even so, the shimmer is so fine that it doesn't feel gritty or even look that noticeable
OVERALL: I'd highly recommend this gloss - cheap, good wear time, non sticky and non drying. what more can a girl ask for!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation SPF 15

Although I am a fan of MAC foundations, this one doesn't really do it for me:

- the coverage is medium to heavy, so it covers all my color imperfections (mild acne scarring, etc)
- the price is cheaper than lots of other department store brands
- the colour matches my skin tone really well (initially)
- in the summer it keeps my shine under control without being too matte
- mixing this foundation with strobe liquid makes it look a lot like MAC hyper real foundation (there are no MAC PRO stores near my house)
LEAVE:
- if i don't use a primer, this foundation has a tendency oxidize and turn orange on me. I know that with a primer it stays true to its original colour longer, but i prefer not having to use primer daily as it cant break me out, so i save primer for special occasions.
-if my skin is the tiniest bit dry, it accentuates any flakiness - NOTE that this foundation is not for those with dry skin!
OVERALL: There are things that I love and things that drive me bonkers about this foundation. if you're someone who changes their foundation with the seasons, this foundation can really stand up to my summer oiliness.

This mascara is incredible! It is worth every single penny. I tried dozens of mascaras on the market and none of them have done it for me, except avon. It also is very gentle and doesnt make my eyes sting, which a lot of mascaras do. With one coat, my lashes look lush and natural, but the volume and length are completely buildable to give you that VA-VA-VOOM look! I am also one of those people who insists on combing their eyelashes after putting on mascara, but the separation on this is so incredible that I dont even bother! To recap:
LOVE:
- doesn't flake or smudge
- very dark black: a true black colour
- lengthens, separates, and volumizes like nobody's business!
- way cheaper than department store brands (i believe it's about 10.00 and it often goes on sale)
- doesn't make my eyes sting
LEAVE:
- not waterproof: can't go swimming but it still stays on for everyday use
- have to order it ahead of time (from avon)
