I received free product for testing. It's a white lotion that isn't oily. Don't need to use a lot to be effective. I like that it's scent free and doesn't go on heavy. Used it for face and neck, which feel smooth and moisturized after applying. I don't have very sensitive skin, and didn't get an allergic reaction to it. Says it contains vitamins B3, B5 and E which are all good for maintaining healthy skin. I would use this product daily. -

I received a free product for sampling. The cleanser is a transparent gel, just need a small dollop each time. It lathers well but isn't too foamy. There is a slight scent but it's not unpleasant. This product worked well for my combination skin. After using, my face felt clean. I don't have very sensitive skin, and didn't have an allergic reaction to the product. I didn't have makeup on, but seems this would be effective for removing it, and I would use it more for that purpose than as a daily use product. -

I received 2 sample packets. Here's what I can say about the product:
appearance - it came in the form of purple powder, dissolved easily when I added room-temp water and became a beet-coloured drink
smell - fruity/tangy, reminded me of juice
taste - tart, balanced with a bit of sweetness but not too much, not sure what black elderberry should taste like but this had a berry flavour
effectiveness - says it contains vitamin c and boosts immunity. I had sore throat and runny nose, was taking OTC medication as well as this. Symptoms are gone, but can't say whether that is because of the medication or Sambucol, or both, especially as I only took this twice. At the very least, there were no adverse effects, so doesn't hurt to take it
