Fans of natural products will love Consonant Body. They're a Canadian product and the ingredients they use are locally made.
Using what they call their "Secret Consonant Blend" (but I found it's a mixture of lemongrass and lavender) what I like about this soap is that 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund.
I liked that it came with a mini loofah sponge so that you can use it during your wash. It does leave your skin feeling gentle and lightly scented. All of their products are carcinogen and chemical-free- can't go wrong!
Cheers!

I have always been a huge fan for environmental products and love to shop in places like Grassroots, or Blue Banana Market down at Kensington.
Recently, I've come across this great product which is handmade by two herbalists, I'm told: the Green Wisdom All-Heal Salve is perfect for petty skin conditions like scaly dry skin (which, I've had from time to time), eczema, psoriasis, inflammation and much more.
Fellow gardeners would definitely appreciate this product as it will help to aid cuts and scrapes. I found myself using this whenever I needed it and I love the scent of this product- a lovely herbal smell- and it has definitely improved the texture of my skin. I've been using it for quite some time and there's loads left of it- which for the long term run, is worth it.
Cheers!

Confession: I'm a recent Lush converter.
Yes, it took me this long to appreciate Lush and everything it represents! It's scent can not be overlooked- when you head into the Eaton Centre from the train, you can literally smell Lush from the entrance.
I took a chance at their shampoo bars. I wanted a bit of a change from the usual liquid bottled shampoos and heard good things about their bars, so after juggling a couple of different scents, I decided to take "Seanik".
The bits of seaweed found in the bar is kind of neat and it guaranteed hair to look clean and healthy, which is good for a couple of days!
Hooray!
For a busy person such as yours truly, washing hair does take up a substantial amount of time- knowing that my hair will feel clean for a duration of two days was a godsend (slight exaggeration there).
What I didn't expect was how Seanik made my hair incredibly soft and shiny. I have thick straight-set hair, so I usually have to fiddle with a couple of hair products to get it smooth and soft-looking, but Seanik did the trick!
Bonus points that Lush is all natural. I definitely recommend.
Cheers!

When it comes to perfumes, I have always been a little bit sensitive when it comes to scents. Fruity? Not a big fan. Floral? Now you're talking.
While shopping in Sephora, I came across the usual fragrances from Dior to Vera Wang. Each scent I tried, seemed to be missing something, which I couldn't put my finger on.
I wondered to the Tocca Beauty section was and instantly a few things satisfied my ideals:
- the fragrant names for their scents: Brigitte, Colette, Florence, Stella, Giulietta
- the look of their perfume glass bottles are charming, as it has an old world feel to them, with a bronze ornamented top. A wonderful addition to the vanity.
Stella won me over completely:
Top Notes: Bitter Orange, Blood Orange, Watery Accord
Middle Notes: White Freesia, Wild Diamond Orchids, Spicy Lily
Bottom Notes: Sheer Musk, Sandalwood
The scent was unique and fresh- I've been wearing it for a few weeks now and I never get tired of it, plus I've gotten loads of compliments on its scent. It's not heavy, nor is it light enough that it doesn't captivates one's attention.
The price is on par with the usual pricing for perfumes (about $72.00) so I didn't spend quite lavishly on it, which was fine by me.
Cheers!

My usual hunt for lip balms have always been the same: the search for smooth, quality coverage, while containing natural ingredients.
Look no more: I came across Eos products at my local drugstore, where it's round and bright packaging caught my eye. What won me over was the fact that it's organic (USDA Organic) - 95% organic, 100% natural.
An extra F.Y.I.: it's petrolatum and paraben free!
So I gave the "Summer Fruit" flavour a shot- and I really liked the taste, not to mention the velvety feel of the balm on my lips. It's also the perfect size for your handbag too.
Fellow lovely ladies who are into organic products like yours truly, you will enjoy this.
Cheers!
