I have to admit - I am now a sucker for red lipsticks. Most of them don't suit my colour, but I love how bold and vibrant they stand out again any skin tone. I think its more of a statement, especially for someone who can full it off with confidence! As for me, I really love this MAC matte lipstick in Red Pepper. Because its matte, it sticks on really well and there's no streak. Unlike the MAC Russian Red, the Red Pepper has a dark hue of red with a mixture of dark brown and a hint of purple which is why it blends well with my skin tone. This colour is under the MAC Pro line, so it may limit those without pro cards. A great alternative is the MAC Russian Red which gets positive reviews on blogs and is one of the popular lipstick colour at MAC Cosmetics.

I love this stuff! I've heard about Dermalogica couple of years ago, but didn't intend on trying their products because they were just too expensive. I opted out to drugstore brands and thought who would buy an exfoliator for $75?? About a month ago, I caved in and splurged the Precleanse, Ultracalming Cleanser as well as the MicroScrub from Dermalogica. Let me tell you - its the best investment I've never made. I generally have clear skin, but I do have small blemishes on my left cheek. After two weeks of using the Microsrub, I was able to see a difference on my skin. The face looked healthier, spots were gone and the bumps on my forehead dissapeared. I wasn't able to get these results with my drugstore products. I am swearing by this for the rest of my life! Yes, the products are expensive, but you really get what you pay for. I've been using it for more than a month, but I don't wear any make up to work because I don't need any! Great buy - really really recommend it. -

Recently, I finally tried the razor on myself to see what the buzz was about. Unlike my usual disposables, the Schick Intuitions are bulky and comes in huge cartridges surrounded by conditioner sticks. Once you're done with the razor, you have to put the whole thing out (include the conditioner) and refill it every time. I was never a cartridge kinda person. I think its just too messy sometimes, so that was the down side for me. I also didn't enjoy the size of the razor itself. Its literally a huge bulky handle that is hard to hold. The conditioner itself didn't do any justice, so I would think a shaving cream would have done a better job. As for the actual job, it doesn't give the best shave, particularly because the razors are pretty weak and it gets clogged up quickly with the conditioner. Overall, not a good investment for a razor. -

The texture is smooth and creamy on the eyes, but doesn't leave a clump. It blends really great and its super convenient for those who don't want to deal with loose eyeshadow powder. The Pre Nup is a pink sheer tone that goes well with or without any eyeshadow. Its subtle pink undertone makes it a great day wear whether you're going shopping or work. The best part of it is that its creaseless, so no more crazy muck! -

I got the new Lancome Oscillation mascara from The Bay. What makes the Oscillation stand out is its new and interesting concept of battery vibration wand used to comb through the lashes in a back and forth motion. There is a small button at the side of the wand where you hold and feel the wand really vibrate. At first, I was a bit taken back but it seems like a new and innovative way to apply mascara and really lengthen it without any clumpings. While the length of the wand is long, the bristles are quite short which may put some of you in disadvantage. Thicker bristles apple more volume, but the vibration motion is used to create that effect anyway. . I love how it lengthened my lashes fully. I've always liked Lancome mascaras, so this was no surprise to me at how well it works. I still have to get used to the vibration motion. Although it is a great innovation, I am not sure how it will be received. I personally would recommend it to anyone who is willing to splurge on a mascara and to try something new and creative. Lancome mascaras can never go wrong anyway, so its always worth a try! -

I recently purchased the Microsoft Zune 8 GB in black from Future Shop. The 8 gb holdes up to 2000 songs, 50,000 pictures, or 24 hours of video. Although it is very different from my previous mp3 player (iRiver Clix), it has great functions and definitely surpasses my expectations. It was very easy to install and upload all my songs onto the player. It does, however, take time to get used to its software program. Unlike previous MP3 players I had, the Zune doesn't have a drag and drop application system. It automatically uploads the songs from the music folders. I personally find this way easier and more efficient because of its touch controls. Its functional and very user-friendly. The best part is that its wifi accessible! The songs can be transferred directly from the computer without any cords. The downside of it is it comes with really buldgy earphones which keeps coming off my ears because its so damn big! The 80 gb player has a more comfortable earphones that just sticks into the ears, but I'm stuck with the big ones for now. Nevertheless, I'm really really liking this player! TAKE THAT APPLE! -

If you know me, I'm always on the look out for the best mascara. Over the years, I always fall short of getting a really good mascara. I tried from brand name to drug stores - didn't find one good mascara until this awesome maybelline one! To be honest, I never buy maybelline products, so I was very surprised as how well the packaging looked when I first opened the box. The mascara has a very edgy, bold packaging and the bristle are amazing.. With just one coat, I really liked how it immediately applied to ALL my lashes..even the smallest of the smallest. The second coat makes it more dark and more volume, so its really your preference. Its short, but very effective. For less than 10 bucks, this has got to be the best deal you can ever get for a mascara. This is definitely one that I will actually go buy it when I run out of it! -

I have to agree - there is definitely a lust factor for Lululemon clothing and accessories. but can anyone tell me why a pant costs over $100! Yes, I too fell for their branding and I bought myself not one..but TWO pants. I convinced myself that I needed it for gym and that they were going to motivate me to exercise. In the long run, it didn't have any affect on me! I bought something similar from Wal Mart which works just fine. I totally regret getting the pants, but I deifnitely understand why there's a demand for the products. Its all about healthy lifestyle and how a company can use that to brand their products. The headband is another wasteful material that shouldn't cost more than 5 dollars (I'm being generous). I'm not comparing to those from Walmart because I know where Lululemon and Walmart manufacture their materials, but I can't see a justification for Lululemon to be priced so high. -

MAC cosmetics is definitely a girl's best friend. With a wide range of eyeshadows and lipsticks, you might feel a little overwhelmed when you're in the store for the first time! The make up artists are there to help you with your needs; whether you're looking for the perfect foundation tone or your favourite red lipstick. I've been a MAC addict for as long as I can remember. The eyeshadows are my favourite..they glide on to the lids so well and I love the different textures they carry (matte, lustre, velvet). Its highly pigmented, so a little really goes a long way. If you're planning on investing on cosmetics, you should definitely consider MAC because of its quality! The pigment bottles can last you a lifetime (or more!), so you will hardly ever run out unless you use it everyday. The lipglosses are vibrant and definitely has a lust-factor.
The only downside to MAC is its price, but if you compare its quality and other high end products, its definitely worth it. I have...lets say..many..MAC products, so I can definitely vouch for them based on my experience!!

I love the little beads that really exfoliates your body if you use the scrub or the loofah. The texture is creamier than most bodywash which I really love . If you know dove, then you know they really go all the way out to moisturize moisturize moisturize! And they definitely didn't dissapoint. The smell is fantastic - refreshing and sweet. Great for morning showers or right after workout. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great body wash for a very reasonable price. -
