I had a mix up with the colour I requested when I was selected by chick advisor to try this product. I recieved a dark blonde that looked like a light brown. I contacted CA and lucked out on recieving another colour I wanted a chose #800 blonde because it looked similar to my current colour.
Smell: No ammonia but it still smells bad [when I was dying my hair the room was filled with family and they all scattered out]. The conditioner faired no better.
Product apperance and use: Looks similar to other products but the bottle cap tab was hard to twist off.. had to bite off the top. During application I found it very difficult to squeeze the bottle to get the product out and thus took me longer to apply.
Colour effectiveness: I had such high hopes for this product. My hair is a medium golden blonde shade to begin with and this product dyed my hair almost a grey colour. Everyone was shocked and horrified.
Application and use: Very sticky and difficult product to wash out [the dye] took almost 10 minutes and my hair is cut just below my ears. The conditioner as well was thick and sticky and very difficult to wash out of my hair.
Look and feel: Again the end result was the colour I wanted [thus I am looking for ways to remove out ASAP] On the plus side the goopy conditioner made my hair easier to brush. But I didn't like the way the conditioner is in a packet and not a little sealable tube. My hair feels a little "odd" not crunchy [as when I've dyed with permnante colour] but a cross between crunchy and soft-ish.

My first issue with this.. It wasn't heavy enough in my microwave.. So my microwave would reset itself and to fix that I would have to pull out and hold the heavy microwave while my mum/dad would reach back and unplug and plug back in the machine. Had to put a plate in the microwave than the wax on it.. It took 5 minutes longer to heat the wax properly [this is a new microwave that always works so.. ya].
The wax was very very messy and sticky compaired to the other waxes I've used [and i've also been to a salon and never had this issue].
The wax took most of the hair off.. .. and the top layer of my skin! Which was beet red [no joke, looked like a sunburn for 3 days and was very tender].
I've NEVER gone back to this product or waxing since. I'll stick to my intuition razor, thank you very much, I like my skin on my body.

I bought this book as part of those deals for book clubs [y'know, 5 books for $1 each to join].
This book counted as 2 books and I heard so many people rave about it. I thought I'd try it otu myself.
My problems with this book... Half of the items I'm searching for aren't in it.. And if they are, they aren't given much review aside from a yay or nay.. The ONLY good advice I got out of this book.. was about dry skin and what types of ingrediants to look for in lotions... Because it was BAD advice.. I took this advice and went into Shopper's drug mart and the woman working the cosmetic counter came over [after watching me for 15 minutes reading labels]. I told her about the book and she shook her head and asked me to describe my skin issues and show her.
She let me test several lotions with the ingrediants the book said to look for and they were GROSS very very thick.. almost like a damn glue stick on my skin. She gave me a bottle of aveeno with oatmeal and it was so much better! I've been using it ever since [so 2 years!]. She also helped me picked a bottle of mascara [I told her how every bottle I pick makes me "look like a hooker"] she told me since I'm blonde, very fair skinned with blue eyes I should use brown coloured mascara [and it looks so much better!]
If someone you know owns the book.. BORROW it.
My advice, speak to the person who works the cosmetic counter at your local store. There they can actually access your issues and help you out whereas the book.. Well they can't see you or your issues.
Personally, I threw this book in the garbage 2 weeks ago.. .. But took it out and dropped it into a box with my other useless books and gave them to the Salvation army [goodwill/donation].

I know alot of people complain that this book is a rip off of others [like Anne Rice's novels]. A person is allowed to pull an idea from another source and spin it they way they want it. And writing something that's is UTTERLY and TOTALLY original and free of other influences is impossible nowadays when everything is being spun this way and that way and remakes of old films or novels.
That being said this is a book for young adults.. also known as teenagers! But I'm an adult and I do enjoy this novel. It's a cute story that does deserve a serious read at least once. Even if you hate the film [like me].
It's a common and simple concept.. Girl moves to a new town.. Falls in love in a "gorgeous" "young man" who tries to push her away but fails and they fall in love and girl ends up in danger. Clichéd at times but it's a decent story but sometimes the characters aren't believable in things they say or their actions.
This book is worth sometime to read but if you don't want to purchase it than visit your local library and borrow it.

Price: I used my free coupon [from chickadvisor]. So it was free [minus taxes]; but the 200ml bottle from Shopper's drug mart would have costed me 9.99 plus taxes. Not worth the price for such a small bottle.
Texture/effectiveness: Well I had it on my skin for about 10 minutes and will not wear it ever again. The lotion goes on like oily water and just sits on my skin. It's so gross. It was like that for 10 minutes until I noticed pink-ish red blotches appearing all over my hands. I washed it off ASAP.
I had to grab my mothers magnifying glasses to read the tiny print on the label [I don't need glasses]. Turns out there's SULFATES in the lotion [to which i'm allergic] so there goes my lotion into the trash.
Smell: Botanical reaks. It smells like palmolive dish liquid [a very foul smell I dislike].
This is just my opinion but I do not like this sheer infusion lotion. It did not leave my hands smooth at all. Now I have hive-red blotches all over my hands.
I wish the company would use something other than sulfate in their products so I could have a better than with this product.

Short and sweet once again.
I have tried EVERY single herbal shampoo regardless of what it's for [I find they are all the same jsut different smells]. And I'm disappointed every single time.
I let my hair "air" dry after washing it to avoid the "greasy" root issue that happens with my thick hair. Regardless everytime I use the herbal brand it leave my hair feeling greasy [like I hadnt washed in weeks] and look limp and lifeless and moves in gross wades and I shake my head. It's so GROSS! not to mention upsetting.
Thankfully I finally found a brand that works.. it only took 2 years! Garnier frutise clean shampoo.
Herbal is only good for the initional smell but that's it.

I'll keep this short and sweet.
Effectiveness: The shimmer made me look terrible.. I made the mistake of putting it on my face and everyone kept looking at me funny.. Well the sunlight had hit my face and made me look like I rolled in silver glitter. The lotion was thick and stayed on my skin for longer than 2 hours and made it feel all greasy and nasty.
I had a fresh cat scratch on my arm and made the mistake of putting on olay quench on my arms.. Well it stung like heck, I had to run to the bathroom and wash with soap and water to stop it from hurting.
I threw out almost a full bottle of this stuff.. So not worth the $7.99 I paid for at Shoppers drug mart.

I have terrible dry skin; which is worse after I've been washing dishes or had a bath.
Every lotion I've tried had done NOTHING to help it.. until now!
I recieved an Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion gift pack from a christmas party last week. Within hours of using the lotion my hands weren't dry and cracking. They were much softer... but did sting were I had open cuts.
It feels almost like... water [kinda] going on and "dries" up kinda fast but my skin isn't dry it's moisturized to the touch. Very nice.
I really suggest those with very dry skin [like me] try it out.
I had bought so many lotions containing animal fat because a beautician said I needed a thick lotion.. Well.. I don't. Aveeno is great! And i plan to stick to it [but I will still try out others of course].

I use to LOVE softlips products. mainly because they smell sooooo damn yummy!. But I finally started to pay attention to products.. and.. well. frankly this didnt work for me..
The smell... Im not fond of cucumber in the least but my lips needed some TLC to I endured it.
"Softlips" hardly.. I put this on my lips every hour and still after 3 weeks my lips are chapped! And the stuff leaves my lips all greasy feeling.. Also it "soaks in" [lack of a better word] too quickly... within 10-25 minutes my lips are dry again.
I'm sorry but this is NOT worth $3.99 plus taxes.. i'd rather get a chapstick for 1.10 . Chapstick does leave my lips feeling soft AND not chapped.
Sorry SoftLips. You're product isn't worth the price.. back to the drawing board!

I only bought a small little package to test about 3 weeks ago.
Oh my god, I love the infinity! Even the overnight pad is THIN.. That's always a plus in my book. No bulky diaper feeling. I would never leave the house if I had a heavy flow because of the thicker pads from always before. But this time I was going out; walking my dogs, shopping, cleaning the house.
The material is nice and doesn't cause chaffing like the other brand. [always a plus!].
It's a little pricey but it is WORTH it to me.
I didn't have any embarrassing accidents like I would normally have with my usually overnight pad. It's so nice not having to wear dark panties incase of accidents.
And best of all.. no matter how you move about the pad STAYS IN PLACE!
I'm actually HAPPY to have my period now.. As scary as that sounds ;)
