I discovered Glysomed Eczema Control at my local Walmart, after several failed attempts at treating my winter-only eczema with other brands. The word that comes to mind when describing this product once it's applied to the skin, is 'soothing', with its thick, balm-like texture. I apply it to my hands and face in the winter before I go to sleep, for relief of dry, itchy and irritated skin. -

I love Aveeno products and did not hesitate to try the Aveeno Clear Complexion Purely Matte Peel Off Mask. I followed the instructions and applied a generous amount and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Once the mask was dry and I was ready to remove it, I found that it dried to a too-thin layer and it was very difficult and time-consuming to peel off. I did like that it smoothed the surface of my skin. If this face mask was reformulated to dry to a thicker layer that’s easier to peel off, I would consider using it again. #gotitfree -

Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner in Universal Light is my favourite brow liner. The micro-pencil is perfect for precisely lining the eyebrows and the swivel means no sharpening required. The colour is ideal for my thin, barely-there brows. It's not too grey and not too warm. In my case, it's a neutral shade of light brown when applied. This brow liner lasts throughout the day and does not smudge. I prefer using a micro-pencil such as this one, over a brow pomade, powder or gel, because the precision of a micro-pencil gives a very neat, tidy appearance to the brows. -

As a fan of Physicians Formula beauty products, I noticed the Butter Collection x Casey Holmes Palette at my local drugstore and was immediately drawn to the small bottle of Butter Paradise Eau de Toilette, because I already enjoy the scent of the Butter Bronzer. The bottle is a perfect size for my purse or to take on vacation. I hope it is made available in a larger-size bottle in the future. The Butter Lip Cream in 'Pop the Bubbly' is very smooth and feels very comfortable on the lips. The bronzer, blush and highlighter all gave me a beautiful sun-kissed glow. The 4 eyeshadows made by blue-grey eyes pop, as these warm shades are the opposite of my natural eye colour. I would love to see more of these palettes in the future, especially in my favourite cool-tones. -

I discovered the Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Eyeshadow Electric Violet Edition at my local drugstore and was very impressed by the cool-tone violet shades ranging in light to dark. 12 colours in total are in this palette. The double-ended applicator has a sponge on one end and a brush on the other end. I use both ends to apply and blend the colours on my eyelids and I'm very happy with the results. These cool-tone shades enhance my blue-grey eyes and compliment my natural cool-tone colouring. -

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation is by far, the best foundation I have ever used. This foundation lasts all day on my oily skin. I use oil-blotting sheets throughout the day and this makeup does not come off. The colour does not change throughout the day, but stays true to the colour in the bottle. Tip: Apply quickly. This foundation dries fast. I apply with my fingertips starting with forehead, then nose, chin and cheeks. You cannot go over the same area twice, because this foundation will cake. Once I mastered the technique, this foundation became a regular part of my everyday morning makeup routine. -
