The newer, make-up and lacquer evoking Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss has Kendall Jenner as the face of its edgy, urban glam advertising and is aimed at younger audiences, typically women in the age group that would be most aware of the Kardashian clan, so around 25 to 45.
Enriched with red cherry accords, Le Rouge Gloss opens with a signature of pink pepper. The heart is blooming with rose to truly compliment the vivid shine of the colour red, just like the sleek, scarlet flacon. A creamy base of vanilla is sharpened with a woody dash of patchouli to keep everything crisp, fresh and relevant, just like the influential target group of this scent.
Even though we think of Estée Lauder as traditional in their approach to beauty and perfume, they’ve surprised us a little with their latest Modern Muse; the slight vinyl and leather nuances in Le Rouge Gloss will appeal greatly to those who like to do their own thing style and beauty wise, the rock chicks who are happy when they’re at a concert or shuffling through their record collection. Congratulations Estée Lauder on creating a never seen before phenomenon, a mix of the traditional (floral-fruity) and individual (vinyl) that shines on!

Remember that magnetic face mask that went viral last year…? Chances are it probably appeared somewhere on your social feeds and you’ve been dying to see if this innovative magnetic removal technique really works. Fast forward a year, and if you can’t get this high tech pot of magnet magic out of your head, ELF now has an affordable magnetic face mask available for just £30, which is a fraction of the price of the one that originally broke the internet. The Recharging Magnetic Mask boasts an iron based formula enriched with Vitamin C, Vitamin E, carrot seed oil, argan oil and sunflower seed oil. All of these antioxidants clear the skin of impurities so you’re left with a smoother, clearer complexion, more refined pores and a more even skin tone.
The best thing about magnetic face masks is that they are mess free with no clean-up needed afterwards. After you’ve applied an even layer of the magnetic magic with the flatter end of the magnetic tool, leave the mask to work for 10-15 minutes then slip on one of the plastic tool covers over the magnet end of the tool, then hold it a centimetre or so away from your face.
