I went to Sanafir for a stagette with about 14 women. The ambiance of this place is amazing. Sensual, airy and very relaxed. The pictures on their website don't do it justice. We had a long low table and a leather bed upstairs. The beds were gorgeous and made me make a mental note that this is a third date kind of place. We paid a price per head and received a variety of dishes that we all shared. The food was excellent and although it's definitely indian, it also has some other influences. I had a khira cocktail that was unbelievable. Not to be missed. -

I just got this Coral Moon Designs necklace about a week ago and have worn it numerous times and received lots of compliments. This particular line has a variety of options with regard to chain length, chain weight, metal combinations (silver and patina, or silver, patina and gold fill), and shape and size of the metal rings. I opted for a heavy weight tri-colour chain and although my necklace is long, they do have longer that you can double up into a choker. This is a great quality piece that will last. Made in Vancouver to boot. -

I joined the mailing list for Narcissist (www.narcissist.com) a few months ago after discovering their boutique on Main St. in Vancouver. The dresses are very flattering to my less than ‘perfect’ figure and the prices are very reasonable for an independent label. I've been most impressed with the recent value-added services being offered like a free monthly seminar series with Image Consultant Giovanni Amenta (www.pinkandgrey.ca) and free private shopping parties for groups of 6 or more with an in-store discount. I don't know of any other fashion label or retailer in Vancouver as invested in their customer's experience as Narcissist. -
