I have been going to East Gate Acupuncture since 1992 and have been treated by Tracy Peck for a number of pain issues and other ailments. I have always been pleased with the care, comfort and results of my treatments from Tracy and have recommended him (and his wife Diane) to numerous clients, colleagues and friends.
The practice itself is calm and serene, simply furnished and conveniently located. When I first started going the Pecks actually saw people out of their home - which was fine - but I am sure the professional setting appeals to a widder group of people. This office is actually in an old home too which made for a nice transition.
Tracy has a wonderful, professional, table-side manner. He is always glad to answer questions about the treatment, acupuncture of Chinese medicine in general. Tracy also does very gentle needle placement (trust me when I say not everyone is as skilled or careful in this area as he is) and has always been sensitive to my comfort level and concerns.

Last night my husband I were treated to dinner at Table 16. We'd been there once before last year but weren't overly impressed. Since then then they've added a new chef and changed the menu to multi-cultural fusion style bistro. And the results are amazing.
I had a drilled foie gras appetizer served with a maple sauce and fruit/onion relish that was outstanding. I also got to sample the baby green salad with peecans and bleu cheese as well as another appetizer with duck. All were excellent.
For the entree I chose bacon wrapped squab - excellent and something you don't see on the menu too often - with gnocci and braised kale (not a fan of the kale) However my husband who got a steak shared some of his sweet potato creme brulee and braised cabbage with cranberries which was out of this world. The sea scallops our friend ordered (with jalapeno hushpuppies) were also outstanding.
The restaurant was busy for the two waiters there so the chef/owner, Graham, actually took us to our table, gave us menu recommendations and took our first course order. He also shared the recipe (generally) for the cabbage side and talked at length with us after our meal.
It was a very memorable meal in many ways but most expecially the care with which the chef crafted the menu, created our meals and connected with our party. I will definitely go back again and again.

The girl who owns this company is actually a friend of mine. That being said I have to say that her stuff is classic, beautiful, and extremely well made. She has a wonderful eye for current fashions and trends as well as outting new designs together. She has been invited to put her jewelry in various awards gift baskets (Academy Awards and Emmy's I think) and has a number of celebrity clients including Kelly Ripa, John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson.
I have a number of her pieces that I love and that I think will remain stylish for a long time. I'm not a big necklace person...give me a bracelet with matching earrings and I'm usually happy. But I do love the necklage she custom-made for my wedding. It was mostly pearls but had a tiny blue Swarovski crystal attached near the claspe so I could keep the tradition without wearing an ugly blue garter.

I never thought I would try Botox. But after meeting Dr. Chris Coley and seeing both how professional and meticulous he is with patients, I didn't give it a second thought. Dr. Coley took extreme care in making sure I was comfortable with the procedure, both what he was doing and how he was doing it. He also made sure I understood all the risks and after effects of the treatment. I recommend him all the time to clients of my spa and friends. -

My husband and I ate here after seeing the restaurant featured on "No Reservations" with Anthony Bordain. The meal was unforgetable...everything we ate was fantastic especially my entree - Duck in a Can. The atmosphere was laid back but the food and service were five star. Yes the prices were high but worth it. I can't wait to go the next time I am in Montreal. -
