Finally got to the chance to try this out for a week while on vacation as the shade was a bit darker than my usual shade, and it did not disappoint! Feels so comfortable on my skin and applies like a dream. I would say that the self setting claim is absolutely true, although I did feel more comfortable using a setting powder on my t-zone. I did find that it broke up on my chin and around my mouth by the end of the day, but that could also be a result of the prep I did. So I’m going to try it with other primers to see if that will make a difference. Really pretty foundation and I like the component as well. Might add a few shades to my professional kit as well!

I’ve tried both formulas and both kinda had the same effect on my skin. The old formula, like the new one, felt like my skin drank it up quickly, which I liked. However, I feel like this new formula leaves a bit of a film on top of my skin, that just doesn’t feel great. I like how hydrated my skin felt and easy it was to drink up, the gel in the formula is great for that. I just don’t know about the film that’s left on my skin. Gives glass skin but doesn’t feel great wearing or to the touch. I’ve been using it at night more so since I’m afraid to wear it under makeup as i don’t know if it will apply the best or wear the best underneath my makeup :/. Would absolutely love this if it wasn’t for that one thing. Love the packaging is considerate for the environment as well! What the old formula was lacking I feel like this one is overcompensating for it and not in the best way. -
