Voilà By Sobeys/Safeway Grocery Delivery & Curbside Pickup

I really loved the ease of Voilà by Sobeys website. It was super easy to use. My fave part was they had a section for multicultural foods under “Chola!” & they also had a section of Farm Boy products which are great products. I couldn’t find some products that I’d normally get in store at Sobeys such a Daiya Cheese, they had similar products though. In addition a lot of products were not available at all such as fresh eggplant or some were sold out, I guess this varies day to day because I started my order one day and finished the next & notice there was different things available. I didn’t find there were too many products especially fresh produce available however, the fresh produce I did order I was very happy and impressed by. The delivery was smooth, I rec’d a call approx 30 mins before confirming they were on their way. The delivery people were so nice, asked me if I wanted to meet them downstairs (because of COVID) or if I wanted them to leave them by my door. They came up and even explained to me how they replace anything that’s not available but that didn’t apply to anything in my order. They were super helpful, had nice Voilà shirts on, kept a safe distance and had on face masks/ shields. All items were packed nicely and I was very impressed by Voilà’s packaging for produce, it’s this plastic/ ziplock kind of bag that shields the produce. All my produce picked was perfect, way better than what I usually pick myself in store. Overall I was happy with my first order. The only thing I was very disappointed with was not being able to collect Airmiles. I always use Sobeys because their products are great but also because I’m a big Airmiles collector so, I was very surprised that this wasn’t attached to Voilà. I did call customer service & they told me that they are looking to add Airmiles so, that is great news because I will definitely use them again once they add that. I would definitely recommend Voilà and looking forward to my next order. -

These wipes are everything. I cannot find a better makeup wipe that works so well to remove all the product on your face. The wipe is not too thin & doesn’t rip. Leaves my skin clean & feeling moist. I had an issue where they felt dry onetime but I mentioned it to a MAC rep who told me hienz the liquid from the wipes sometimes goes to the bottom of the package so, just turn them upside down which worked wonders. Love that it comes in a full size or mini travel. -

The scent is great but didn’t leave my skin feeling moistured enough. Maybe it better as a cream not a gel. -

AG Conditioner light
This is a great everyday Conditioner that leaves my hair feeling soft & healthier. It’s thick but spreads easily and smells so refreshing. It indicates “therapy” but doesn’t work like a treatment which could be misleading to some.

AG xtramoist shampoo

I have psoriasis & find coconut oil really keeps it under control, especially on my scalp. It’s also great for hair, keeps it soft. I’ll put it all over my body in the winter when my skins dry. Besides beauty it’s a healthy alternative to other oils. -

It’s an all natural cream that helps with calming, stress, sleeping etc. I put the cream at the bottom of my feet before sleeping and boy does it help me sleep and feel calm in the morning. It can also be used during the day which I may give it a try do to stress at work. The product doesn’t smell the greatest but doesn’t smell the worse, it smells like vitamins. I’ve never used something so effective. The bottle I purchased is 1.6 oz, it’s a small pump but it lasts me about 1-2 months. So happy I was told about it. On my 3rd bottle :) -

I’ll go tanning here & there during the winter just for a bit of colour. This product doesn’t streak your body but leave your hands stained pretty bad, even after washing them. The product is very thick, doesn’t spread as good as other tanning lotions. It does help give me a nice colour afterwards tho. I started applying it at home before tanning this way I can wash my hands before going in the bed, this has helped & doesn’t leave my hands streaking. Product is ok, have used better. -

This product is an absolute must in the winter. Now it comes in a full-size Rose scent, yay! <3 My skin (like many) is so dry this time of year. Even though I use face cream my skin feels so dry, especially after applying makeup. MAC Fix Plus leaves my skin feeling refreshed, supple & I don’t have to worry about having that caked on, dry, make up look. Even days I wear no make up I will spritz some on my face. -
