Great snack for on the go, and kids loved them
These boxes of individually-wrapped muffins (4 in each pack) are really good for traveling! The only drawbacks are that they get smooshed easily, are not as eco-friendly as they could be with the thin plastic wrap, and the muffins themselves are quite crumbly and can make a mess (especially for little kids).
I really liked that the ingredient list is quite basic, though I'd have preferred that palm oil (second last on the list) was replaced with a different, less eco-unfriendly ingredient.
The muffins don't taste super sweet, which I love! The two flavors I chose, Chocolate Chip Oatmeal and Fruit & Fiber, have 18 g and 17 g of sugar per 85 g muffin, so that works out to approximately each muffin being 21% and 20% sugar. I'm guessing it's also partly because they're quite fluffy, and ingredients like rolled oats and bran, respectively, help to offset the sweetness. Also a plus: the sugar content is present in the form of actual sugar and brown sugar, and not something like high-fructose corn syrup.
The Chocolate Chip Oatmeal muffins contain 3 g of fiber per muffin, which is not bad. The fat content is 13 g, and it contains 15% of the RDA for calcium. (Overall, the Fruit & Fiber flavor is more healthful, and to be honest, my kids liked both, so I'd go for the Fruit & Fiber every time over the Chocolate Chip Oatmeal.) The texture was soft and fluffy, and while they pretty much do taste like a health-food version of a chocolate thing, they're really pretty good. My kids (1 and 3) loved these—though they're pretty much into anything carb-y! They do make a huge mess eating these crumbly muffins, though.
At CA$4.99 for a box of four muffins, these aren't the cheapest snacks, so I would probably only buy them (more likely in the Fruit & Fiber flavor, as I mentioned above) as a travel treat now and then, if they're on sale. They're a nice option to have in the grocery, though, and I'd be interested in trying the bars, too. I just didn't see any in my store at the time.

The Fruit + Fiber muffins contain 5 g of fiber per muffin, which is pretty good. The fat content is 13 g, and it contains 25% of the RDA for calcium. The taste was what you'd expect from a high-fiber muffin, though I really liked that it didn't taste dry. The texture was soft and fluffy. My kids (1 and 3) actually really liked these—though they're pretty much into anything carb-y! They do make a huge mess eating these crumbly muffins, though.

I was pretty excited to try this hand cream, though I don't think I can speak to its anti-aging claims since the time limit for review doesn't allow for observance of long-term results. The product has a great texture, not too creamy nor too runny, and not overly greasy. It did take a while for the cream to thoroughly sink into my skin, though, so I don't love it for everyday use. I wash my hands a lot and prefer to use a hand cream each time, but I want it to be non-greasy, fast. I didn't think this cream was anything special, though it works all right.
I received this product complimentary in exchange for a review. (The ChickAdvisor email got stuck in my junk mailbox, so I am a bit late reviewing it!) #gotitfree

I have dry skin, though in the summer I don't need quite as much moisture. This body lotion does the trick in summer! However, I doubt it will perform as well in the winter when I need a heavier duty body lotion. It sinks into the skin fairly quickly and I like that the scent isn't overwhelming. Overall it is a good solid option at the drugstore.

I regularly use a few other body oils, but this new one from Nivea is a really good alternative. It smells different: clean and aquatic, which is quite unlike the others that tend to smell more floral. I did find this oil to leave a shinier finish, which is nice if that is the look you want. It worked just as well as the others to keep my skin moisturized after a shower, even though I did find that it didn't "soak" into the skin as quickly as I'd have preferred. Overall, it's still a great option to have at the drugstore, particularly for those who prefer a cleaner style of scent. #gotitfree -

I found a wonderful color match for my NC25-30 skin in Light Neutral, but I was very sad to discover that this gel foundation was not a great one for my dry skin. It requires a makeup sponge for application, since it doesn't look very good when applied with fingers. It also doesn't set very well and I need to use finishing powder to even get it to stay on, so this negates the very pretty satin finish. Longevity is not good either, which is unusual for me since my skin is dry. It's not a bad foundation, just not suited to my skin type. -

These are so awesome for the price! I actually like these overall (formula, brush, price point) better than pretty much all of Sally Hansen's more expensive offerings. The only drawback is the color selection isn't as great as say, Complete Salon Manicure and Color Therapy. They can be a little hit/miss, but mostly they're good and I can't complain at the low price. -

Essie remains one of my favorite nail polish brands out of all the big and readily available ones. The slim brush is good for my smaller nails, the colors are always on point, and the bottles are the cutest and are easy to store away (I have well over a hundred Essies, and have many swatched on my blog). Occasionally there will be a shade that doesn't apply all that well, but overall the brand is quite reliable and it's very good value. -

This is my favorite lip balm, and it's great that it's easily available in drugstores and cheap, to boot! The flavored ones are my favorite (strawberry!) and the packaging feels really nice and solid. I have pretty dry lips and this lip balm always feels like it is really moisturizing, and not just sitting on top of my lips. -
People like different types of lip balm, and I'm just not a waxy lip balm kind of person. These are very waxy, a bit hard, and I feel that they just sit on top of my skin. The flavored ones smell nice but this type of balm just doesn't work for me.
