Before I tried this product, I was aware that it would be a calming cleanser, but for some reason I had not realized that it would moisturize my skin as well! Imagine my surprise when I realized that this cleanser felt different from all other cleansers that I've tried before. I thought that maybe I'd used too much product, but when I squinted at the writing on the tube again, I saw that it said "moisturizing." I was really impressed with how nourished, soft, and un-irritated it made my skin look, compared to other times when I step out of the shower. I will continue using this product, and have been recommending it to anyone who will listen! -

Some years ago, my eyelids started getting oily, and my eye makeup started just melting off only a few hours after I applied it. I was getting very frustrated, for obvious reasons, and so I started doing my research and found out about eye shadow primers. The first one I tried was the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, and I LOVED it. I've tried another primer since then, and found that it didn't work for me, and ended up returning to this one because it is just the best for what I need. -

A friend of mine told me about these "purple shampoos" and how it washed the copper out of the blonde in her hair. Since I have some blonde streaks in my hair as well, and they WERE getting a little coppery, I thought that I would find one of these magical shampoos and try it out. There wasn't much difference after the first wash, but I mean, I didn't expect there to be. Now that I've been using the shampoo for a total of 3 months though, I can finally judge the effects and...I have to say that I'm impressed! My hair does feel a little less voluminous, so I might start using 2 types of shampoo (though I don't know if that's recommended?), but the blonde in my hair hasn't looked this good since I got them at the hairdresser! So, it really does work, and I will continue using this shampoo for as long as I have blonde in my hair. -

I’d been eyeing this product ever since I saw it featured in this video by a TheBeautyBreakdown, a beauty YouTuber. By that point my eBay cart was already full of other kbeauty products though, and I could not justify adding this product as well. So I saved it for later. When I went to my local Chinese market 2-ish weeks ago, I saw stacks of these on a shelf near the check-out line, and when I saw the price (1/3 of the price online), I just had to grab one.
And am I ever happy that I did! If you have read my Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without post, you’ll know that I mentioned that I would be searching for a new moisturizer, because the one I’d been using for about 2 years was nice, but not quite the perfect fit for me. Well, I think I found my ideal moisturizer!
While my previous one (Iceland water moisturizer for combination skin by The Saem) has a nice scent, and has lased me very well (I still haven’t run out yet, actually). But my issue was that it left my skin feeling sticky afterward. Yes, it felt moisturized, but I also felt a layer of residue on my skin for about an hour or so, if not longer, and that just wasn’t a very nice feeling.
This aloe moisturizer on the other hand, even though I need to apply two or more layers (though I’m assuming I’ll need less in the Summer), leaves my skin feeling soft, natural, moisturized, and NOT sticky. The scent is also more pleasant for me, and I also find that my complexion has improved since I’ve started using it. My tone appears to be more even, with much less irregular coloration, or red parts. I’m assuming this has something to do with the soothing properties of the aloe gel, but I’m no expert. In either case, however, I absolutely love this moisturizer and will be heading to the Chinese market again very soon to buy another tub or TWO!

I started using this product while keeping in mind that this is a drug store brand. I would not compare it to the mascara that Sephora carries, for example. I also want to point out that I was sent this mascara in the colour Blackened Brown, whereas I usually wear black, or super black mascara. But anyway, I tried it out, and the first thing that impressed me was that there was no clumping, and that my lashes did not stick together. The volume, on the other hand, was not what I was used to from the mascara I use on a regular basis now (yes I’ve moved up in the world, haha). But again, for a drug store mascara, it did pretty well.
I used to use the Volumnous Manga mascara by L’Oreal (which is also a mascara which you can buy at local drug stores around here, as well as Walmart), and while that one would give me more volume than this Revlon one, it also caused a lot of clumping and mess. When comparing the two, I therefore prefer the formula of the Revlon mascara much much better. I also really like the brush. The bristles start longer at the base of the brush, and then gradually become smaller. This makes it easy for you to apply more product onto the longer lashes at the outer edges of your eyes, and less product on the smaller ones near the inner corners. I also found that I did not get as much product on my skin while using this brush. I don’t know if I have shaky hands or what, but I tend to get mascara onto the skin above and below my eyes when I apply product.
I also liked that my eyes did not get irritated after using this mascara for the first time! My eyes normally burn a little when I try out a new mascara, (or used to, before I moved up into using the more expensive ones), but I wore this one comfortably. The formula must therefore also be a gentle one! Once I put on a few more applications of the Mega Multiplier Mascara, I had a look similar to the one I get with my Too Cool For School mascara, and I was quite satisfied! While wearing it throughout the day, this product also stayed on quite well. This is definitely a mascara which is easy to get a hold of (due to being a drug store brand), which is affordable, and which will give your lashes a voluminous look without the mess or irritation.

The shades which I received to test out were Eclair, Demi-glace, and Flambe, and Eclair was my favourite (because I am very into nudes right now). My second favourite was Flambe, although the colour is a little strong for me (I may still try to wear it out sometime). And my third favourite was the Demi-glace. I liked this colour when seeing it in the video, as well as on the applicator, but when I put it on my lips, I found that I needed to apply a few more layers than with the other shades, to get a uniform look.
Overall, these lipsticks were great, and I will definitely buy some of the other shades when I am in need of some shiny lipsticks. I also found that they were very good at moisturizing my lips, while I would wear the product, as well as for some time after I would take it off! Right now, however, I prefer their not-liquified line, simply because those lipsticks are more matte, and that is my preference at the moment.
Note: I also received a lipstick primer (also made by Bite Beauty) with the 3 liquid lipsticks, and it is one of my favourite products! It really does make the lipstick stay on longer, and makes my lips a little tingly (so I’m wondering if it’s also a plumper, haha). I am the worst at making my lipstick last, because I always forget that I’m wearing it, and either wipe at my mouth, or eat like an animal, haha. I find that it works with liquid and solid lipsticks.

The sheet also clings to the face much better than other sheet masks I've used before, and does not slide off like others. The scent was also subtle and quite pleasant. I cannot wait to order more of these! -

...By trying these BITE Beauty products out, I realized why there was such a craze about using lipliners and lipsticks together. The colour was easy to apply, and the amount of product was not heavy, but at the same time left an even and good amount of colour on my lips. I was able to decide where I wanted the lipstick to end, and my skin to start, with a lot less effort and with a lot more precision.
Also, the colour selection is pretty great. I like that they made suitable colours for a variety of skin tones! It drives me nuts when cosmetic companies focus only on one skin tone (one shade of WHITE).
Overall I would highly recommend BITE Beauty’s lip pencil, and I know that I for one am likely ruined for any other lipstick and lipliner brand!

My favourite lipstick by FAR! This far I've tried 3 shades and the colour payoff is just amazing. It also stays on pretty well for a lipstick, and keeps my lips moisturized while it's on (rather than drying them out like some other products do).

I used to use some form of Sensodyne all the time, because my teeth were very sensitive. That went away for a while though, and I branched out to other toothpastes. My sensitivity came back recently, however, and it was bad enough that I thought I had a cavity or more! I went to the dentist, and they told me that I have zero cavities, and that it must therefore be tooth sensitivity. It'd never been that bad before though, and I was a little upset that they wouldn't do anything to actually help me. Out of desperation, I bought a tube of Sensodyne, and it has helped quite a bit! I can finally drink and eat things of varying temperatures, without worrying about experiencing intense pain. -
