Being a mom I never seem to have enough time for myself. Lately I have been purchasing cosmetics from Avon as it is very convenient and inexpensive. I recently tried the Avon speed dry in "orange you quick" colour and I love it, it is my new favourite colour for summer! I got 2 bottles for 7.99. It is easy to apply, only one coat is needed and it dries in less than a minute! -

I have always wanted long Bambi lashes, but being Asian, I have short and straight lashes. I have used tons of different lengthening mascaras, false eyelashes and also lash extensions to get the long Hollywood lashes I so crave. The thing is, mascara doesn't make much of a difference on my puny lashes, false eyelashes are so frustrating to get on, lash extensions are great but expensive and are too high maintenance for me. So my next option was to try to grow my own! I found Rapidlash at Shoppers Drug Mart for $59.99 and decided to try it out. I bought it during the 20x points event so in addition, I got about $10 in points, yay!
I started using this on May 28 and started seeing results at around week 3! It's very easy to use, just apply once a day before bed and its similar to applying liquid eyeliner with a thin brush. My lashes are about 50% longer now after about 4 weeks and I'm looking forward to what my lashes will be like at week 8!

I never buy the "as seen on TV" things, they always seem way too good to be true. However, I was in the Showcase store at the mall and noticed the Smooth Legs item which I had seen previously on TV and of course was skeptical. However, the girl at the store allowed me to try before I buy, which I did, and I thought to myself--WOW! I could not believe it! It was seriously just like buffing away the hair on your legs with a buffing pad. It does leave your skin "white" and dusty looking, however, it is just your dead skin from the buffing and so some moisturizer or lotion right after does the trick. No nicks/cuts or ingrown hairs! -

Just recently started using Bio-Oil...I purchased it when the price was lower--it used to be around $12 at Walmart when it first came out. It is now around $16-$19. Some slight improvement so far in the areas I have been using it on, however it says to use it a minimum of 3 months. -
