Canon Blanc is the newest clothing boutique on West Queen West, just steps West of Bathurst. It's owned by a French couple who just moved from Paris and took with them some of the best French brands and antique furniture to open this little gem of a shop in Toronto. As you walk in, you immediately feel like you've been transported to The Marais...except that the service is much friendlier ;)
Prices are super reasonable for imported fashion and I wish I had room in my apartment for their absolutely gorgeous self standing shelves that comes directly from a 1950's French country factory.
They carry both men and women and I have to admit it's hard to find descent chic clothing for my man in the city so I'll be back with him for sure.
They have limited space in the shop and a lot of clothes in stock so they will be switching things up often which is something I love. Nothing worst then coming to a store every month and finding the exact same collection.
If you're on Queen W, definitely stop by, I highly recommend it!

I've tried a LOT of concealers in my almost 30 years of dealing with bad dark circles and I have finally found the right one for me. I love the texture, it just fits well on my skin, matches my skin colour, and does the job for longer then anything else I've tried. That being said, I do have to be careful before I leave in the morning, sometimes I don't rub it enough and it's a bit visible. I feel like it's more my fault for badly applying it then the product's though.
The price is not cheap, but it lasts for a very long time so it seems worth it. I used Mac concealers a lot too, but I just like this one best.

I have always been intrigued by the fascination North America seems to have for cupcakes. Coming from Europe, I am more used to chocolate croissant than muffins, cupcakes and other butter tarts. Of course, now that I live in Toronto, and having a major sweet tooth, I enjoy all those different treats, but I particularly have found a new passion for cupcakes. So I try them everywhere I can, giving rates in my heads for their flavour, texture, look and price.
Dlish cupcakes are the best cupcakes in the city. That's it.
If you are like me and could die for a Red Velvet, you can stop looking. The minimalistic, adorable, spotless storefront on Queen West is the absolute stop for the most delicious afternoon treat.
