I have purchased a lot of St. Ives products. They tend to be very affordable and efficient and I love how they have such a fresh smell. I tend to mostly purchase their lotions but I found these wipes on sale at SDM. I rated the price as good because I always seem to find St. Ives products on sale and I have never paid full price for any of them.
I got these wipes in particular because after having my son 8 years ago my skin decided to get funky on me and after escaping my teenage years without any blemishes, they have decided to make an appearance now in my 30's. I am always on the lookout for blemish fighting products because I constantly get a lot of blackheads, which drive me crazy. I am also kind of lazy when it comes to taking off makeup at night when I'm tired. This is so bad for the skin so I'm really grateful for facial wipes. I keep them on my bedside table so there's no excuse not to remove the day from my face.
These wipes are really good in my opinion. I can feel them removing the dirt, grime and makeup from my face, leaving my skin feeling very fresh and clean. They are not too rough like other wipes can be but I feel like they take that extra step in cleaning the face. They are good for sensitive skin - there's no tight, drying feeling after use and no redness like some really textured, exfoliating type wipes.
I will buy these again next time I see them on sale. They are a great wipe to have around especially if you're prone to blemishes and blackheads like I am.

I LOVE Simple products and they are so inexpensive that I've been trying a lot of them. I use the wipes a lot but I don't have a lot of cleansers in my skincare collection so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's the "foaming" part that got me to try it over another kind. I am the type of person who likes to "see" the work being done.
I wish I had a Clarisonic but it's way out of my price range, so instead I use a basic facial soft bristle brush or a battery operated cleansing tool similar to the Clarisonic one but a whole lot cheaper! The reason why I use they to apply facial products is because I get really clogged pores and I always have blackheads! Ugh, they are the bane of my existence!!
The cleanser is very foamy as advertised and with the use of a facial cleansing brush it added that extra oomph to really clean deep into the pores. It did not leave my skin feeling overly dry afterwards, just very cleansed and fresh. I really like this cleanser and I recommend it to anyone, even those with sensitive skin. I found it to be very gentle but effective. I do not use it every day but I do rotate it into my skincare routine and I will likely purchase again. So far I have not been disappointed by any Simple products. In general they are effective and affordable.

I just got this Keratin smoothing serum a few weeks ago. I rated it as a good price because it was on sale but I do think I probably would not have purchased it at full price without trying it first. I have super thick coarse and very damaged hair and I already own a lot of serums. I know keratin is good for the hair so that's what made me pick this particular product.
Surprisingly, after the very first application I noticed a real difference in the texture of my hair. It certainly was a lot smoother. I don't really read the back of the bottles regarding how much product to apply - my hair is long and very thick so I always need more product than the average person. It was no different with this serum - I applied a lot, probably 20 pumps in total. I start with about five pumps at a time and then add more as needed, but not everyone will need to use this much. So if you have fine / thin hair I would recommend starting with the recommended amount because I found this serum to be heavier than most - which is excellent for my hair type but not for those with short, thin or fine hair.
I use this in several ways: I apply a LOT in shower left on for about 20 mins while I tend to other tasks for more of a deep, penetrating treatment, after the shower in wet hair after squeezing out excess water and also on dry hair to calm extra flyaways. So for me this has multiple uses and is well worth repurchasing. Of course I would prefer sale price (who doesn't? ) but now that I've seen how well it works for my hair type I wouldn't mind paying full price because it gives me good results.
The scent isn't overpowering but I tend to dislike Tresseme scents. They're too shampoo-y smelling for me. I prefer natural fruity smells or coconut, which is my fave hair product scent.
Overall, this is an excellent smoothing serum for thick / coarse hair types, which is hard to find. A lot of serums are very, very light for those with thin / fine to normal hair.
I would definitely recommend this serum to women with my hair type.
I have used this several times a week since I bought it and surprisingly there's still a good amount left in the bottle. It is larger than most serum bottles so I guess that's an extra value added benefit. I can tell my hair is softer for sure, even the very damaged ends. It's not a miracle worker though, so although my ends are softer they are definitely not repaired. I am in need of a trim so I will definitely re-evaluate after my hair is trimmed.

I don't buy a lot of Pond's products. The brand seems a bit outdated to me. When I think Ponds I think of an ancient, thick cold cream in a jar that grandma used to use. I was pleasantly surprised by these makeup remover cloths though. Except for really tough or waterproof makeup, these do a decent job of removing dirt and makeup while leaving your face feeling soft. It's an okay purchase. Overall, I think in order to create a new following the brand needs a serious update and overhaul of their product line. -

Another good and inexpensive product from the Simple brand. It's not the most fabulous drugstore scrub on the market but it's great for someone on a budget or just someone who loves a great deal. It's not as brightening as some other scrubs I use, Aveeno brightening scrub is my current favorite, but it's still pretty decent and gets the job done. It's a bit drying so I always follow up with moisturizer. -
This is a very effective, inexpensive toner. I don't use toner all the time but this one is excellent and has a great price. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and cool. It's a great start to my skincare routine. Definitely recommended.

I love the Simple brand and have tried many of their products but this is the only one I didn't like. I'm in my 30's and always moisturize. My skin is parched and this moisturizer, while described as light, I found to be too heavy for my skin. It didn't sink into my skin like the other moisturizers I have and left me feeling like I had a layer of product on my face. Perhaps it's the spf used? I also prefer a higher spf on my face. Aveeno has a better one with higher spf that sinks into the skin so although it's far pricier, I'll stick with that for my summertime spf moisturizer. Sorry, Simple, this one needs a major upgrade in formula for me to use. Price point is great but in skincare, sometimes paying extra is worth it. -

I am just loving the Simple brand! I've tried so many of their products and enjoy most of them. I LOVE these exfoliating wipes. One of my new favs. The price is so affordable and I always find them on sale. I have 2-3 on hand and gave one to my daughter. The wipes are very effective, a bit rough in texture but it does the job. It leaves my face feeling very clean and smooth but a little dry so I always follow up with moisturizer. Great product! -

I like a light hold finishing spray when I'm going for a wavy bohemian look. My hair is thick and dry/ damaged so I make sure I condition very well. I like to let my hair air dry into its natural beachy looking waves and wear a braid halo around the crown. It's one of my favorite boho, natural, beachy looks and I do not want to use a strong hold spray; just something light that will control a bit of unwanted frizz and flyaways without compromising the bohemian vibe. This product delivered the results I wanted and I recommend it for a light hold style that requires movement. No helmet hair here! My only complaint? Price. It's far too expensive. -

I picked this up on sale at SDM. Nexxus products are too pricey for me so I only buy on sale. I think this is the one with the caviar complex... I am always trying new hair products and it's been awhile since I used this. From what I remember I really liked the scent but I'm not drawn in by fancy ingredients like caviar complex. I just know that Nexxus tends to have a good brand following. The shampoo gave great lather but I have super thick hair and I found it hard to rinse clean. Perhaps I used a bit too much. My hair was softer but it was also light and puffy afterwards, which isn't what us girls with thick hair aim for. I had to tame it down with some heavy hair oil. The next time I used I used it I followed up with the Nexxus Humectress conditioner. I do like to use tons of conditioner and it helped weigh it down. I liked the bouncy feel but I think the shampoo would work better on someone with medium consistency hair. I didn't notice much color protection. My hair is so damaged and overly dry from coloring. I didn't finish the bottle - it just wasn't for me. -
