I love mascara and I'm always trying new ones. This one did not blow me away. I think the wand did not give me the look I wanted. I like full on darkest black thick lashes and this didn't live up to my expectations.

I apply several coats to get the drama I love. I find the formula is very wet in texture and the brush ensures that all lashes are covered. This one's a solid drugstore purchase that rivals more expensive brands. -

I have only just tried this huge tub of cream that I bought at shopper's drug mart on sale for $2.99. I couldn't pass it up at that price even if it turned out to be terrible. I live in AB so I am stoked to see it was created by an Alberta pharmacist! This cream really blew me away. I didn't know what to expect with this unscented, plain, huge tub of plain and boring looking cream but these Alberta winters are tough on the skin and I have dry skin to begin with. Well, I have to say, don't judge a book (or a boring tub) by its cover. This is such a thick cream that goes on bright white and I felt I had to rub it really hard into my skin for it to soak up and remove the white marks. I felt dumb when I realized I didn't have to rub so hard; the cream naturally soaks into your skin and the white disappears.wow!!! This left my entire body so soft and moistureized!!! In the morning my skin felt even softer if possible! So soft, like brand new skin. I use this cream regularly now and I will definitely buy it again. I wish I stocked up when I found it on sale for $2.99. I use this over my entire body except for my face. I guess there's nothing saying you can't apply to your face but it is just the wrong texture imo. I don't want to risk clogging up my pores on a sensitive area, especially when I am prone to blackheads. I find that I often apply a bit too much just because the consistency is so thick and it's hard to rub all over your body. I just have to get used to seeing it white for a few minutes until it works its magic. I definitely recommend this product to anyone with really dry skin. Just don't apply too much because then it can feel a bit greasy. As I said, I'm still getting used to applying the right amount because of its consistency. I would prefer that it had some type of scent, I'm not a huge fan of unscented products but that's just my preference and won't keep me from purchasing it again. I just like to smell pretty. It's definitely worth it for the soft skin it leaves you with. I really really dislike that it comes in a tub. I hate getting lotion under my fingernails. Some products come with a spatula for that reason but I will just find my own cosmetic spatula to avoid getting it under my fingernails. I seriously cannot recommend this enough. It is GREAT! It's almost stupid to mention but in this day and age everything is packaged to look so beautiful for us to feel like we just need to have this product or that product. I respect the fact that this brand does not compete with that market. They are a solid brand and product and the results speak for themselves. So while I'm not blown away by the packaging the results more than make up for it. This is a must have body cream. Especially for anyone with really dry and / or sensitive skin. Get it, you won't be disappointed. -

I love Aveeno products and this moisturizer in particular. It makes my skin so soft and has a very light scent that I like. I like that it comes in a pump bottle because I do not like getting lotion under my fingernails. I think this is a quality product for an okay price. The price seems to be higher where I live. When it's on sale I stock up. I feel like Aveeno has really stepped up their game to compete with other higher end moisturizes and they are doing a good job. -

McCain Deep n Delicious Apple Pie is a really good frozen pie. It's definitely not homemade but it has a very good taste and texture. It is small but the price is still appropriate for the product. I definitely prefer the cakes over the pies but it's still a decent product that's great to have onhand when company comes over or just if one night you feel like a single slice of pie. That's what I love most about these frozen deserts - it's in the freezer if you're ever craving just a little piece and don't want to buy or make a while pie. The crust on the bottom tastes delicious as the filling soaks into it and gives it a mushy moist texture but I do find the top crust to be a little plain and "store bought" in nature. Overall it's a decent pie for the price and the brand has proven it's quality in its many products on the market. -

This particular cake is not my favorite. I'm not exactly sure why - I think I just don't enjoy my chocolate and vanilla together. When I crave this cake I want one or the either not both. My kids do enjoy it though so I will continue to buy it, I just don't enjoy it as much myself. Again, the icing is slightly oily in aftertaste but it's still a good product. It's a breeze to serve and have on hand when you are craving cake but dnot want to make a whole fresh or purchased cake and just want a small piece. -

My family loves these frozen cakes and this particular one is my second favorite. Like the other cakes it is so moist and delicious and when you're craving a piece of cake you just go to the freezer and get it. These cakes don't last long in my house - everyone loves it. This is my son's favorite one. It's a good change from overly chocolate deserts and you juat want some vanilla instead. This is really one of my favorite vanilla cakes. Again, as I stated in another Deep n Delicious review, I find the icing aftertaste to be slightly oily on my tongue but I still love it and will continue to buy it. -

I even admit to scraping the bottom of the pan, it's the best part imo. I love these cakes and buy them often. My only complaint is that the icing tastes great but leaves a bit of a shortening-like oily flavor in my mouth afterwards. Maybe it's just my taste buds but I do find the aftertaste to be slightly oily. It doesn't stop me from eating it though. My kids love it and it doesn't last long in our house. I'm craving this right now! I have been known to eat an entire cake by myself in the course of a day. It's not healthy obviously but they are sooooo good! -

I am obsessed with NYX products! Everything I have tried so far has been awesome and these butter glosses are no exception. The colors are awesome and very "now". They flatter almost every skin tone. They are small enough for a pocket or purse and the price point is good. It's a quality lip product and I am wearing a lot more lip color these days as I'm typically not a lipstick wearer, I mostly use gloss in the same clear or slightly pink shade. This butter gloss gives me so many color options and I love that. The product glides on well and isn't too sticky. It dries a bit to a nice finish. I love these glosses and I would love to see even more shades. Well done NYX. -

I received this product from Chick Advisor and Adrien Gagnon in exchange for my true and unbiased review of this product. I have a bowel disease which makes it extremely hard to eat most foods. It's been a horrible two years of figuring out my diagnoses and realizing I have to change my entire diet for life. No more of my favorite foods, otherwise I become really ill. So many things make me sick that I am forced to get most of my nutrition from meal replacement items such as shakes and bars to ensure I'm receiving adequate nutrition. In addition, medication I was during a flare up made me gain tons of weight so I have been using slim fast as my main meal replacement for almost an entire year. I'm so sick of them sometimes I just don't eat. And the worst part is my body must be in starvation mode because I cannot lose any weight!! It's so frustrating. I was REALLY excited to try something new on the market and something that wasn't a shake. I quickly tore into one of these bars and to my utter surprise I LOVED it!!! What a great taste (even though you can still get that slightly protien-like taste that tells you it's a health food item. But I don't care. It's THICK and so filling I could legitimately only eat a few bites of the first bar and I was FULL for a long time. Bonus - it did not make me sick!!! I shared the bar with both of my children who loved it also. My older daughter also said it made her feel really full and she intends to eat them as she has a hectic work schedule and doesn't have time to eat properly sometimes. She also wants to lose a few lbs. My son is 8 and he is a living, breathing eating machine. He has very high metabolism and is so active all the time and completely full of energy. He certainly does not need to lose weight but he eats all day long and this is a great, filling bar that acts as a snack for him. He also loves chocolatey fudge taste and it's a way to give him nutrients when we are on the go and he's hungry yet again. I am certainly not advocating that children use a weight loss supplement of any kind, but in my son's case where he eats all day long and has a high motabolism, it's fine for him to enjoy as snacks. I feel much better giving him one of these bars as opposed to those "healthy" chocolate granola bars he loves. Plus this one keeps him full for a bit so it's good to carry around in my purse for a quick snack, or in my case, a meal. I am really impressed with these bars and I will purchase them. I feel the price point is a bit high for only five bars, however, slim fast is expensive too. I usually wait until slim fast is on sale for $9.99 and stock up. I still am unable to eat a full bar. They are just too filling for me so I space it out over a few hours and I find it works well for me. I would like to see some other flavors too but you can never go wrong with chocolate fudge! Great job! Fantastic product! I will buy this. As for the weight loss, I have lost four lbs but I cannot contribute that to the bars as I already use a weight loss product. Five bars are not enough to determine if weight loss is contributed to the bars alone - it's impossible to tell in that short of a time period. I will continue to ear them and if I lose more weight then I will know the bars are helping. Thank you both for the opportunity to try this awesome product! -
