This is one of those product that make you think - why didn't this come out sooner? and how have I lived without it for my fist child? I love the cotton like feel and how darn easy it is to use! I'm not big on the price per sheet, but I'm sold on the product. It's now one of my must have items that I'll list to friends that are in the depths of potty training.

I don't normally use car air fresheners because I always thought of them as overpowering. When I put this one in my car on low was impressed with the light smell. The Febreze car vent clip will be great this summer when my children leave their milk or other foods to parish in my car. That's when this clip will really have to work!

I was lucky enough to be sent an Oral-B® Pulsonic Power Toothbrush to try and review. I adore this electric toothbrush and so do my teeth - they have never felt cleaner. The brush is lightweight and works it’s “magic” in 2 minutes with a little help from you moving it over your pearly whites! Twice a day I get that just left the dentist feeling, and I love it! I am now a true believer in electric toothbrushes. I wish it had come with two brush heads so my husband could also take part in this cleaning experience!

I LOVE to try all kinds of different products, places and even services that I already need and use. I do this by trying all kinds of restaurants, shops, products like buying different cereals and flavours of drinks, I think I’ve tried every brand of diaper by now, I even use different hairstylists - until I fall in love with one whom without fail will promptly go on maternity leave and alas my hunt continues…
Anyway - I will try new products and places until I find one that I just can’t or don’t want to replace. Well, this happened recently when I tried Baby Butz diaper rash cream – This is the ultimate in diaper rash cream, it’s good for light burns, sunburns, mosquito bites, eczema, heat rash, bed sores and even the red mark my little girl gets above her lip when she has a cold and rubs her nose too much.
I got to meet with the owner of Baby Butz cream a local Winnipeg mom, and discuss her product, I was pleased to learn that Baby Butz Diaper Rash Cream meets the Gold Standard of Paediatricians in Canada and is licensed as a Natural Health Product in Canada. You can buy this cream in many health food stores and pharmacies around Winnipeg, Canada and now New York ( the list of where it's sold ). I had no idea that most of the leading brands have perfume, alcohol or chemical ingredients in them – Baby Butz has none of these, it has 100% natural ingredients and is 100% safe ( what's in it).
The best part is…. this stuff works! It really, really works! I’ve been using it on my son and now I’m hooked.

I had the genuine pleasure of working with the very talented “Jane of all Trades” Dawn the owner Sunrise Mosaics ~ Dawn made me a custom key chain and 2 pendants with necklace. All I did was pick the three pictures of my family I wanted on the pendants and Dawn did the rest!
I truly treasure these items, and what I didn’t realise at the time I ordered them is the positive impact it would have on my kids when they saw THEIR faces on their moms jewellery. They both felt so special, and as my daughter put it “mom will wear us now” my two year old keeps kissing the pendant with his picture!
Dawn the artist of these pendants is truly multi-talented woman. She is a baker of stunning custom cakes,
jewellery that she is primarily focusing on now, on top of all this she’s also mom of two.
Dawn is so personable and professional; you can tell she loves what she does! Her prices are also extremely reasonable ~ it’s only $12 for a Scrabble Pendant with a picture and chain ($7 with just the Scrabble pendant with picture); Fridge Magnets are only $5 and there are so many more unique present ideas on her site.
If (when) you order from her you will not be disappointed.

First of all the weather! It was beautiful – We were treated top long days full of sunshine and evenings on the deck mosquito free.
Although Kenaston Blvd remains a thorn in my side - I have found a few tricks to keep my car moving on those buy times.
There was just so much to do this summer in Winnipeg – between great festivals like Folklorama, various Farmers markets, free family fun days, and evenings full of great music and movies it was hard to keep up…
Even though the summer has come to an end we still have so much to look forward to! We are getting the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, an IKEA, an improved convention centre, a new airport, the Winnipeg JETS are coming home and our biggest park - Assiniboine Park has improved tremendously and is still in the process of becoming even better. I can’t wait to see the Zoo and don’t you just love the new Natural Playground? So again, THANK YOU Winnipeg – My family of four enjoyed you thoroughly ~ Please, Please, Please treat us well this winter too!

Over the long weekend I made two scrumptious meals from Supper Central. I live pretty close to this local Winnipeg business (located near Kenaston & McGillivray Blvds) and cannot believe I didn’t go sooner! I made Chicken Enchiladas and Spinach, Mushroom, and Parmesan Manicotti. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by one of their friendly team members and guided though the preparation process. I am NOT a good cook and NEVER make meals like this, but they had the ingredients all prepared cut up etc. and a step buy step guide letting me know exactly what do. It would have been hard for even me to mess up a meal! The best part was I made a homemade meal that my family loved! loved! loved! Plus I got to prepare the meals in a peaceful kid free kitchen (obviously not mine) and then feel like a great cook (which I am anything but). -

Since I discovered this market a month has not gone by without my family and I ordering supper from Calabria Market & Wine Store. Our regular order is a pizza and cheese salad. I crave these foods! The pizzas are loaded with fresh toppings (veggies in my case) and the dough is hand-tossed and stone baked.I truly believe it is of the most delicious and fresh pizza in Winnipeg – I love pizza and have tried it from many different Winnipeg establishments. The service at Calabria is great and the food consistently scrumptious, in the very rare case that my order is wrong they quickly make a new pizza and it’s ready ASAP. I’ve also heard their Italian Sub is delicious! The are located in South West Winnipeg at 139 Scurfield Blvd
