The Rainforest Cafe at Mall of America, Bloomington, Minnesota, is one in a chain of restaurants of the same name. The big draw to this restaurant is the rainforest theme. Our family enjoys the large fish tanks, the elephants and the apes. Now that my children are older, they also enjoy the simulated thunderstorm that takes place every 30 minutes or so. The price range is pretty average for any nice restaurant at the Mall of America. The portion size is pretty big - a family of four could feast on the Volcano Cobb Salad! We appreciate the large variety in the menu offerings, including some different children's options. (ribs) One recommendation: If you have a large group, request to be seated away from the waterfall. The only times we have ever had bad service at the restaurant was when we were seated near the waterfall. Ever since we have requested sitting elsewhere, our service has been excellent. I don't know why, but there it is. On the whole, this restaurant is a pleasant experience. It is my son's favorite restaurant. Use caution, however, if traveling with children under five years old because the thunderstorm can be scary to them. -

This shampoo totally saved my hair! We live in the country and have a sandpoint water system. Over time, the hard water was ruining my hair. It got to a point where whole chunks of my hair was breaking because of tangles. I have been using this product now for a year, and my hair is soft and smooth once again.
Because you don't need to use a lot of the shampoo to do it's job, this product lasts a long time. It's fragrance is nothing to write about, but it's lathering ability is pretty good considering it's being used in hard water. Also, the bottle states that the shampoo is safe for chemically treated hair. The shampoo did not damage my highlights in any way. It's also 100% vegan.
This is a great product to try if you live with hard water.

I use Pure Anada's Velvet Matte Mineral Powder in 'Bloom Blush.' These all-natural products are great because they contain no parabens, petrochemicals, gluten, dyes, nut oils, or any other bad-for-you-chemicals.
These Canadian-made blushes come in a wide variety of colors. Bloom Blush looks so natural on me, I smile to myself when I receive compliments on my great 'natural' coloring! The powder stays on for a long time and comes in a sufficient quantity to last for a long time, too. Mine lasts for about a year. Definitely worth trying if you have sensitive skin.

Pure Anada is a line of all natural cosmetics made in Canada. Their eyeliner pencil in black is very nice. I have sensitive eyes and never used to wear eyeliner until I learned of Pure Anada. Because the ingredients are all natural, this eyeliner does not irritate my eyes. It goes on easily and wears well. I highly recommend their products. -

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in these newest bars from Quaker. They missed a great opportunity to make a gluten-free bar. The appearance the Quinoa Bar was nice with it's pretty chocolatey coating, and the crunch was good, too. However, I tasted mainly the sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds are yummy, but the overshadowed the taste of everything else, even the chocolate. If these bars were gluten free, I would certainly buy them. As it is, my family prefers the taste of Quakers regular granola bars much more than the Quinoa Bars. -

This new product contains three different types of cereal: honey-nut flakes, honey-nut cheerios and oat clusters with almonds. The taste was really great. My two boys ages 11 and 5 loved it. My husband and I also enjoyed it. Everything stayed pretty crispy with milk and the fact that it's a mix of different cereals was kind of fun. ( I know people who mix their cereals. They would enjoy this.) My only complaint is that the way the contents settle all the lighter flakes end up on the top with all the clusters on the bottom. By the end of the bag you're left basically with granola. I would suggest shaking the bag to mix it up before using. However, I am looking forward to buying another box of this product. -
