I want to first off thank Mrs Dash for making such a great product. To start off, I want you to know that I am a huge fan of Salt, which I know isn’t any good for me, so I was very excited when the opportunity arose to do a review of Mrs.Dash ~ A Salt Substitute!
With the hubby being a diabetic with kidney issues I’ve had to cut down a lot on the salt that I use in my cooking and this was a wonderful way of doing so! Not only is Mrs.Dash sodium free it also has no MSG, which is another added bonus.
I went out and bought the Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend . I was absolutely amazed at how great it tasted with fish. As every food lover knows, lemon is a great seasoning fish (this would be the first thing I would say to try it with, you will fall in love). I was also surprised at how awesome my mashed potatoes and deviled eggs turned out using this product, the subtle hint of garden veggies (onion,celery…) mixed with the tangyness of the lemon added the perfect kick to these 2 delicious dishes as well as many many more I’ve made!
My husband has told me that it is very good with steaks (as I don’t eat much steak) and I have tried it with other meats as well. I would definitely recommend trying this product if you haven’t already, your guaranteed to love it. With such a variety of seasonings, you will never want to buy salt again after try these awesome products!!!

Slow Roasted Turkey Breast With Potatoes
This was the one I got to test out. (Turkey is my favorite) so its no surprise that I picked this one out at the grocery store :D I want to start off by saying that the turkey tasted like it had been cooking in the oven all day. It was so tender & delicious. I honestly didn’t know that it was by Weight Watchers until I was finished and going to recycle the packaging. They range for about $3.00 each but also come on sale from time to time. This is alot cheaper then going out and buying a greasy meal at some fast food restaurant and its so much more healthier for you.
Now for those of you who have the same worries as I do when I see a little frozen dinner like this, is that I am still going to be hungry after eating all of it. Well I made mine and made up a little plate of cucumbers and tomatoes to add to the side. I can truly say that I was left satisfied after eating. It wasn’t the normal uncomfortable bloated feeling I get. This was the first thing I noticed when I was done. Its great :)
The potatoes were a little runny but nothing serious. I added a little salt and pepper (personal taste) to mine and mixed in some of the delicious gravy that comes with the turkey. Perfect combo!. This one my son got the pleasure of testing out for supper. I of course had a bite of it because I was very curious to see how it tasted. I must say that it is almost as good as my own homemade spaghetti sauce. It tastes great and is great for people who are a little picky when it comes to veggies, there are some tomatoes and the rest is perfectly seasoned pasta sauce. The chicken is so tender, fresh and that also is seasoned just right. I think the only thing I would add to this little dish next time, would be some fried mushrooms to go on top of this delish piece of chicken. And let me tell you, that when it comes to eating chicken, well like I said in my other review, I simply have a hard time eating meat from a factory but this, nothing can beat this. I would love to fill my freezer with these quick, go to meals. Perfect for those hot summer days when you wan’t a nice homecooked meal but you don’t actually want to cook it :) You’ll want to reach for a SmartOnes Frozen Dinners
So I served this meal to my son Riley with a home made biscuit and a nice cold glass of milk. He ate every single bite of his supper and wasn’t asking me every 10 minutes afterwards for snacks and saying he’s hungry. It really does fill you up unlike most frozen dinners. Judging by the emptiness of his plate, I think its safe to say that he enjoyed every bite of it :) And momma was happy too because he didn’t leave a big mess behind him!!!! Score for SmartOnes :P I even started making a list of the different kinds that I have tried and loved so I will know which ones to stock up on next times there is a sale!!!

Salisbury Steak
This one my hubby tested out but of course I had to try a little taste so I could write a review on it. :) . The meat tasted absolutely great. He couldn’t believe how tender it was, melt in your mouth and seasoned just perfectly. Almost like he cooked it himself, {Which is great for something that was stored in my freezer.. Now I am noticing this with their meats in these dishes, is that they taste so fresh, not like a machine made it. They are all so perfect and delicious. I am the type who is faint hearted and sometimes have a really hard tome eating meats in general, but even worst is the ones from a factory!, But eating this dinner, I didn’t even have to worry about it. It truly was so yummy. I trust Smart Ones 100% as my go-to frozen meal, hands down!
I cannot believe how great the Vegetables were in it. They were so fresh, tender and lightly seasoned to perfection of course. And the gravy just tied it all together. I think this dish would also be great with from fried mushrooms on top of the steak! Yummy.. I am actually getting hungry writing this review!! :P
One thing I will say is that they won’t let you down!!!.You gotta try these for yourselves, because you don’t know what your missing out on!! ;) They have a whole variety of different meals from breakfast to supper and even desserts!! I am and have always been a little scared you could say, to try a product that is known as “healthy”, as I know that certain things have to be removed and added to specialty foods! During my transition to Gluten Free foods, I have taken it upon myself to advise people of the foods that I have tried and liked that are GF, as well have the same taste as foods containing gluten, as I am very fussy when it comes to taste and textures of food and don’t find that there are many accurate search options for gluten free reviews out there! This being said, I am very happy to share my thoughts with you on Kinnikinnick’s gluten free bagels :)
Now we live in a small area and unfortunately don’t have a very big selection when it comes to foods that I am actually allowed to eat, so I was beyond happy to come across these delicious looking bagels made by Kinnikinnick foods, which look and smell exactly the same as a regular bagel!
The smell that permeated the house while toasting my Blueberry bagel was as if I had walked into a bakery and that was just from it being in the toaster!!! I love that they have the exact same texture as a bagel too, no crumbly/grainy taste as some Gluten Free food have! I also like the fact that they are only 36-40 Carbs, which makes a perfect Breakfast item for me as it has enough starch in it to keep my sugar from going low (from being a Diabetic) as well as being filling! There were many blueberries through out the bagel as well as that purplish hue that blueberries give, making it seem like eating a donut almost, Lol!
Now if you’re like me, you Love raisin bread! So the other delicious bagel I was fortunate enough to find was the Cinnamon/Raisin flavor. These are absolutely scrumptious. They have nice plump raisins throughout the bagel as well as a subtle hint of cinnamon, perfect for me as some breads tend to over do it! Just like the blueberry flavor, the cinnamon/raisin ones have that same chewy-ness without the grainy texture to them.
As someone just starting out and getting used to the taste of Gluten Free foods, this is definitely a product that I recommend buying. I won’t lie, they are a little expensive, just as every other GF food I’ve seen, but this is one product that is well worth the money and I for one will continue to buy bagels from Kinnikinnick foods, knowing that I’m getting the quality I’m looking for in a NEW food :)

I have always loved milk, but unfortunately suffer from lactose intolerance and quite honestly would deal with pain rather than drink lactose free milk, until I was given the opportunity to try Natrel’s Lactose Free milk! I was absolutely amazed at how it tasted exactly like the milk I would put myself in discomfort to enjoy. I was even more amazed when my 3 year old and my husband were also drinking it, not even knowing the difference! I am very happy to have come across this delicious milk and will continue to buy it and would recommend it to anyone with lactose issues, and don’t worry it doesn’t have that watery taste as most lactose free milks do :)
I have always been a coffee addict, but prefer mine w/ 2 sugar, no cream and the Lactose problem is extremely bad when it comes to cream, so I have asked my Hubby’s opinion on Natrel’s French Vanilla “Blend of milk and real Cream” :)
I love my caffeine, flavored and exotic coffee especially, so it was no surprise that I found this creamer to be very tasty & not too sweet (diabetic here)! The fact that it was thick like a creamer, (3.25% cream) I’d say, and not too watery as milk sometimes is, was what I loved most about it! I’d have to say that this is definitely something I will be purchasing in the future and is something I recommend trying to all you as well, Delish! Price is VERY reasonable. Under $3 for one of them! Great price I would say :)
If you like Chocolate milk as well, you’ll love this 1% Chocolate milk! In my area there are a few different brands of milk and I prefer one specific brand and am now able to add NATREL to it as well :) Its thick and creamy. It has its way of tickling my taste buds (giggles).

When it comes to cereal I would always go for the sugar coated ones, as I get older I realize that they honestly don’t have much of a health value to them at all! Now, I can’t say that I cut them from my diet completely but I have started buying healthier ones with less sugar added to them. Which is why I am very happy to tell you about Weetabix cereal!
I was very impressed with the fact that this product is low in sodium with only 2 grams of sugar per 2 biscuits. I tried mine with fresh fruit and a sprinkle of sugar and was very impressed with the taste of it! Something I like to do when I receive products to review, is allow family members to test it as well, as a means of multiple opinions. I can honestly say my Dad is a picky eater, especially if it’s healthy! So I was beyond surprised when he told me “It was really good with blueberries”. Not only did my Dad like it, my 3 year old was stealing bites from my bowl :) I also love the fact that Weetabix is made with 100% Canadian wheat, Go Canada!

Being a Type 1 Diabetic recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I am very thankful to have been able to try WowButter! This product is deliciously made with Soy and tastes exactly the same as peanut butter, yet is Peanut/Nut free as well as Dairy, Egg and Gluten Free making it safe for those with such allergies, and schools too :) I know you're probably thinking "how can something so good for you, taste so good?" I don't know how but they made Soy actually taste great, I actually crave toast with WowButter :)
I love the fact that the company has included stickers behind the lable that states the sandwich you have sent to school with your child is made with Wow Butter and 100% peanut/nut free! Not only is this product safe for kids with allergies (other than Soy), kids are also getting the health benefits from Soy, bonus!
This is a great product for Diabetics, people with Celiac disease & Peanut allergies and is something I would definitely recommend to other parents and folks who love peanut butter and might be looking for a different solution when it comes to School Lunches!. You won't miss your old brand at all, once you try WOWBUTTER!

I was recently given the opportunity to review a wonderful product for dads known as “Daddy Scrubs“, which are scrubs for the expectant “Daddy” to wear in the delivery room :) I have to admit, I don’t care much for hospital scrubs, they aren’t all that comfy, paper thin and are difficult to tie! Most of all Ugly LOL..
Daddy Scrubs are nothing like “hospital scrubs”, these are so comfortable, that I now have a new pair of pajamas, and they keep me nice & toasty (essential to a Scorpio ;) I absolutely loved the logos. The cute little poem that was written inside the shirt as well as the logos printed along the side of the pants! I was also very impressed with the strength of the material and the way the draw strings has been overlapped, making them easier to tie, great design!
My sister in law is a nurse, so I verified that these are acceptable in the delivery room, but they do have a strict dress code for surgery (c-section), so keep that in mind if your asked to put on a hospital gown! All-in-all, I was very impressed with this product and think that the quality is well worth the money and recommend it as a great gift for a “Father to Be” or any Father for that matter, not only do they have scrubs, they also have hats/hoodies and more :)

These pouches are great to pack in a lunch bag and take on-the-go with you. They are very convenient and are practically mess-free (unless you have a little mess maker like myself hehe). It’s easy to squeeze it out and you only use the quantity needed at any time. He’s sort of a picky eater, but Baby Gourmet managed to create such a wonderful and healthy product that he will actually eat, I am so impressed. You are a hero in my books :)
I love that they are organic and good for you. What more can a Mom ask for? So I want to personally thank you Jennifer Carlson for creating this wonderful life saver! Its definitely a product that I will be buying for future children ;) or even as a part of a baby shower gift basket :) . They are safe, completely pureed, and most importantly, they are Tasty. Which plays a huge part in children wanting to eat properly (foods that are good for them).At first, I was a little skeptical of the plastic packaging it came in but was soon relieved to find that it is BPA free!!

I first off want to say a huge Thank You to Kelsey Ramsden, the founder of SparkPlay,{also named Top Canadian Mom Entrepreneur} for the opportunity to review the May subscription box from SparkPlay!
I was absolutely amazed at the science behind this imaginative and educational product! It not only allowed me to spend quality time with my son while sparking his imagination, it also allowed me to teach him about creatures/landscapes and so much more at the same time! Not only is it great for spending quality time with your child/children, while creating memories that they’ll cherish for life, it’s also great for those that have hectic work schedules and are either exhausted or just don’t have much of an imagination when it comes to fun activities for kids, such as myself! I really enjoyed spending the rainy days playing “bugs” rather than watching television or being bored, I made a cute little “cave” for my little bug to live in, we had hours of fun :) I love the fact that this kit allows my son and I to do something other than playing the same old cars and trucks! Don’t get me wrong, I love playing cars with my son but after awhile it becomes repetitive and it’s nice to switch things up every once in a while!
This product has also earned the PTPA Seal of approval (Parent Tested Parent Approved) which sets my mind at ease knowing that it is safe for my child, not to mention extremely durable! This is most defenitely a product I would recommend to parents, grandparents, playschools, daycares and so many more!
