I ordered this set online after having someone tell me I would love it. I would like to make it clear that my skin is used to regular use of acids, Retinol, vitamin c etc with zero problems. I have combination skin that leans a little on the oily...   +

I ordered this set online after having someone tell me I would love it. I would like to make it clear that my skin is used to regular use of acids, Retinol, vitamin c etc with zero problems. I have combination skin that leans a little on the oily side. I started this by using the first 2 products morning and night and by day 3 my skin was so dry and as soon as a realized this i stopped using the products. At this point it was too late. My skins outermost layer is very dry, rough and tight, as though the whole layer wants to just peel off. I was certain to only take out one package of cleanser and one of moisturizer so as not to confuse any of the stronger products and use them too early in the directed regimen. The bummer is, I looked all over the packaging it came in and with to figure out what exactly it was that had made my skin so incredibly angry. There is no obvious indicator what the active ingredients are and had to go to the website. The 3 main actives they claim aren’t anything I could see causing this. I emailed the company and got some generic responses and was asked if I wanted to unsubscribe from the emails. A little disappointing there is so little support for adverse reactions even if the might be rare. I’m now laying in bed with a swollen face covered in a gentle moisturizer hoping this doesn’t get worse and that I don’t end up with any scarring or any kind of purging or breakout after this. I have dinner in a nice restaurant Christmas Day (3 days) and I don’t even know what I’m going to do. I’m not saying don’t try thi, I’m just saying use caution and pay very close attention as it does have the potential to hurt you.!    -
