The Breyers French Vanilla ice cream rivals some of the high end ice cream labels such as Hagen Daaz but without the hefty price tag. The ice cream is smooth, rich, and creamy. You can definitely taste the difference between this ice cream and the lower end, cheaper alternatives. It is also available in all major supermarkets including Loblaws, Walmart, and Metro. In particular, the French vanilla flavour tastes exceptionally good and you can even see flecks of the vanilla bean mixed in the ice cream. It goes well alone or with a pie or even cookies. Perfect for dessert or as a snack. -

It was easy to prepare a serving of the Carnation® Breakfast Essentials. Each packet is a single serving all you need to do is empty the contents of one packet into a glass or mug and then add cold milk. I chose to add a glass of whole milk. Then you stir the mixture - it was a bit on the thick side though so some people may choose to add a bit of extra milk. I had the chocolate flavour and it tasted absolutely delicious! There was no after taste either. I feel good that I'm able to consume so many vitamins so conveniently and quickly in one serving. -

I received a coupon to try a free box of Good & Simple Fruit + Fibre Muffins. I went to my local Walmart and found them in the fresh baked goods section. The packaging was nice and attractive. Inside the box were 4 individually wrapped muffins. The muffin was a full size muffin and filled with fruit bits. The muffin was soft and moist and delicious. Too bad I only got one as by the time I went for another, they were all gone! We will be buying more for the family. They make a great breakfast choice when on the run. -

I received a free coupon which I remitted for a free full size box of Good & Simple Blueberry Oatmeal Bars at my local Walmart grocery store - found in the fresh bakery section.
The box was attractive looking and each bar inside was individually wrapped in clear, see-through plastic.
I ate my first bar for breakfast - on the go ... I paired it with my morning cup of coffee. The bar was full of oatmeal bits and blueberry bits. The bar was soft when I bit into it and surprisingly not dry - just the right level of moist. It actually tasted very healthy!
I also find the bar to be very convenient as a quick snack in the afternoon to tie me over before a late dinner.
I would recommend Good & Simple Blueberry Oatmeal Bars to friends and family.

I was very excited to receive my free, full-sized bottle of Le Petit Marseillais Extra Gentle Shower Crème in Orange Blossom.
The first thing I did was to open the bottle so I could smell the body wash. It was a subtle Orange aroma good enough to eat. When I used it in the shower, I squeezed about a quarter size dollop into the palm of my hand. That day, I was in a rush and didn't have my body scrub but to my pleasant surprise the medium-thick consistency of the body wash lathered up nicely on my body. A little bit went a long way. And the body wash rinsed off with absolutely no residue whatsoever. It simply left me with a clean, fresh feeling.
After getting out of the shower, I dried off and did not not notice any lingering fragrance on my skin. That was good because I know that some people in my office are very sensitive or allergic to perfumes and anything strong smelling.
I would definitely recommend this body wash to friends and family. It is a very gently formula yet effective.

I received free Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Loose Leaf Tea from ChickAdvisor and was very excited to try it. I am a huge fan of the Pure Leaf Iced Tea so was wondering if the loose tea served hot would taste any good. Lo and behold it was delicious! It's been so cold here lately with all the snow and the chilly temperatures that cuddling up to a hot tea with a great taste was what I needed. It is easy to prepare (how difficult is it to boil some water and some tea leaves to a cup?!). The taste was smooth and did not leave an after taste which is great as other teas tend to do that. I drank the tea straight up ... so no milk/cream or sugar. I would definitely purchase this tea in the future. -

Each tea bag was conveniently anchored to some string with a Pure Leaf tag, making it easier to soak each single serve tea bag in a tea cup.
Preparing the tea only required boiling some hot water and pouring it into the tea cup. It took seconds for the aroma of the tea to spread.
The smell of jasmine was pleasant and the first sip reminded me of dim sum. This tea tasted exactly like the Jasmine tea they serve at chinese restaurants. It has a slight bitter taste common in Jasmine tea and can be consumed with no sugar or milk/cream. The taste was smooth and I suspect the tea bag could probably been used for a second cup.
I definitely recommend this tea to anyone who enjoys Jasmine flavoured tea. The Pure Leaf version absolutely tastes authentically Asian!

The box packaging was quite standard. It came with 4 main items, each numbered in the sequence in which it was to be used:
1. Smoothing Pre Treatment;
2a. Color Treatment;
2b. Activating Creme;
3. Pro-V Colorsilk Conditioning Therapy.
In addition, the packaging came with 2 large plastic gloves and instructions which clearly laid out each step of the coloring process - including a standard warning sign about potential skin allergies. In going through the coloring steps, I realized that the first step was new to me: applying the smoothing pre-treatment at the end ends of my hair. I had never seen this step with other home colouring boxes. But I proceeded with this first step with ease. All in all, the coloring process was quite easy. The smell was not bad and the creme applied easily. For my long hair (past shoulders), it took a good 15 minutes to apply and one box was sufficient as I concentrated most of the color creme in the top half and only applied the lefts overs to my ends. Because of my naturally dark roots and stubborn grays, I kept the creme in for a full 45 minutes. Rinsing the color out of my hair was easy. I waited for the water to become clear of color before shampooing. Then I proceeded to apply the Pro-V Colorsilk conditioner. It was a very good conditioner. But due to my long hair, I used up over half the tube. It detangled my hair immediately, gave it a very smooth texture and smelled nice. After drying my hair, I could see my salt and pepper was 99% gone. Unfortunately I was still able to find a couple of strands of gray/white hair that didn't color. Overall the color was very similar to my original hair color before coloring but provided a fresher look with no roots and the salt and pepper look gone ... My hair was also slightly less brassy which is what I was trying to achieve. My hair was also very soft and very healthy looking. However after my next shampoo 2 days later, I noticed the brassiness came back! I was deeply disappointed. And another couple of weeks later, I found many more strands of gray and white hair with no color. It seems that the color didn't last very long and washed out easily despite the fact that I didn't change my shampoo/conditioning routine. Overall the coloring experience with Clairol Age Defy was similar to other in home coloring boxes. The color was very nice and left my hair soft and healthy looking. The results were immediate in that it made my roots disappeared, it covered "most" of my grays/whites, it left my hair looking smooth, soft, and healthy looking. But because the color didn't last as long as I hoped, I may not purchase this in the future. I also noticed several months later that my hair was breaking a lot more... not sure if that has anything to do with this product since it wouldn't normally break as much with other colour box products from the drug store.

When I received the Vichy Liftactiv Supreme Day Cream, I noted the nice jar it came in and it was easily differentiated by the night cream as it was a white jar as opposed to the night cream which was a blue jar. However when I opened the day cream, I noticed that about 25% of the product seemed missing (as compared to the night cream jar). The top layer looked like it was scooped out - or maybe the jar had air bubbles originally and the product may have simply settled during transit. Honestly, it was hard to tell. I smelled the contents and it had no discernable odor. The cream was white and non textured - actually - very similar to the night cream. But because I wasn't sure if the product was handled by someone else previously (i.e. in case the jar was not new), I was hesitant in using the cream. It's unfortunate as I really would have liked to try the cream especially now that a month has passed and I am really happy with the night cream as well as the Vichy Liftactiv Serum which I absolutely adore!!! -

The Vichy LiftActiv Supreme Night Cream came in a very attractive looking blue bottle with a twist cap. The one thing that disappointed me was that the ingredients were bit listed on the packaging . However I easily found them online. I applied the Night Cream after cleansing my face snd plying the Vichy Serum. A little solo of the night cram goes a very long way all over my face and down my neck. The product was not greasy at all and absorbed into my skin quickly without any residue or sticky feeling - eventhough the roduct itself is a quite thick white cream. The cream had no discern as be odor either which is preferable. After a few weeks if use I noticed that my face would have a subtle highlighted look in the upper cheekbone area eventhough I don't use highlighter products on my fave. I attribute it to my fave having a healthy glow even under a thin layer of powder foundation. My natural facial oils would shine through ever so slightly whereas in the past, before I started using this product, my face would look like an oil slick by the afternoon with cakey patches. But no longer the case after using this Night Cream. I feel like it has given my skin a healthier look and I look forward to keep using it as part of my nighttime routine. -
