I bought this lancome lipstick (Rouge in love) for my wedding day. I was originally recommended YSL by my makeup artist, but that was $55 vs. Lancome's shade was similar and more in the $30 range. My sister loves the Lancome brand for their lip gloss and that's what i'm used to as well - i've never really been one for lipstick/makeup. But i expected the lipstick to be more opaque and long-lasting. I found that the lancome lipstick left marks on my drink cups. It went on smooth which was great, and wasn't drying, It didn't have that lipstick/makeup smell, In fact I forgot forgot i was even wearing it (unlike other lipsticks i have tried), but i was not a fan of it coming off so easily. I expected more from a $30 lipstick. Overall, it's okay - i'll keep looking for others - maybe that YSL $50 lipstick is worth the price tag in this case -

I would say I have dry skin, and over the years my skin has become more dull, and less smooth. i'm always looking for a skin cream to make it smoother and more even looking. I put this on overnight and the next morning my skin feels really smooth. They say to tissue-off in the morning - but i really treat it like a moisturizer (maybe because i have dry skin). I find it absorbs nicely. It's light, and gel-like which i love more than oily lotions. It has a pleasant and subtle smell - so i never have to worry about my husband comment about fragrances. It lasts a long time too, because i probably only use it every other night, and only need a couple dabs each time. Love it! -

I was able to try the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar as part of ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club.
Pros:
- Super moisturizing! Which is great for people with dry skin (like myself)
- Fresh and clean, lathers up and rinses off very well (Behold - the commercials don't lie, there really is no soapy film residue left on your skin)
- Love the shape of the bar, easy to use
Cons:
- I'm not that fond of the smell. Some people like that baby powder scent. But I could smell it from the box. (However, once it's on and after the shower, you don't notice it.)
- I find it's more expensive than body wash (in terms of # of uses, which is weird b/c I would think bar soap would last longer)
- I'm not a fan of bar soaps (for tranporation/ road trips, i find it more cumbersome) - but that's just bar soaps in general, not specific to dove.
But I know that my mom loves bar soaps - and she loves Dove the most (especially this one).
Overall - I like it, and would recommend it to others

This product works as it says it should. I chose it because it provides spf 30.
After using it, i liked it because it didn't leave me shiny, or wasn't too thick leaving a white residue. It goes on relatively smooth and one pump was enough to use on my entire face. It's not sticky at all, which is great for the beach and everyday use just walking to class. It absorbs quite quickly and is not greasy, which is hard to find amongst most facial sunscreens. However, there is a slight sunscreen smell when you first put it on, but i hardly detect it, and it goes away within a minute.
Some people complained about breaking out. I always wash it off when i get home because i did fear about clogged pores - but i generally do this with all sunscreens. I like how it doens't sting your eyes - when you work out, but if i could change something about it - i'd want a water-proof version available as well. Though, that would probably be thicker and more greasy. Overall, i'm happy with this purchase.

I like the tub over the pump, as the tub gives you more product for the same price (300 ml versus 250 ml). I use it everyday - and the tub will last me probably over 6 months.
It's really moisturizing. I would say i have dry skin, so it's helped me hydrate my skin, but i'm not sure how effective it would be for users with oily skin. It really just provides a smooth, clean feel to my skin overall. I like the tingling sensation - i find it refreshing. Some people complain it burns for the first time - but It doesn't after the first use.
Also, some people complain about the smell of menthol. My little sister can tell when i use it - but it's not pungent.
I like to open up my pores first by cleansing my face with an exfloiator, and then apply noxzema to help to moisturize and soften the skin. It hasn't irritated my skin at all and i would highly recommend it.

I like this lotion. It absorbs very quickly and makes you feel super smooth. I think it hydrates for a bit. It claims 24 hour maximum moisture - my skin doesn't feel dry but it doesn't feel overly moisturized either. Compared to Vasaline's Intensive Care line - this one is not as hydrating. It's not as thick, but that is a good thing because it doesn't leave any film/residue that some thick cremes provide. It has a nice yet soft and subtle smell. I use after every shower for my entire body. I haven't noticed that much of a difference compared to other lotions, but I would recommend it. It's served it's purpose and smells great! -

I've been using this product for a couple years now after my hair-cutter told me my hair was dry. My hair-type is asian hair, so it is relatively thick, and course. I've been told I have a alot of hair, and after it gets wet - it gets quite frizzy and it's not perfectly straight - there is a slight wave. So i was looking for a product that hydrated my hair. Though this says that it is for "severely damaged hair" - i definitely do not fall in that category as I haven't ever done anything to my hair (other than use a straightening iron maybe once a month for the past year). Basically, i think this product does a great job. I can really tell a difference between using it/not using it since without it, my hair isn't as silky. It leaves my hair really smooth and manageable. I use it every time i wash my hair and it doesn't make it any more oily than if i were to not use it. But i do notice my hair to be much softer and less dull. -

I really love this product. Recently i started to break outt around the chin, and nothing really helped (i tried benzl peroxide and salicylic acid products), but this helped to smooth out my skin. The little microbeads really evened out any rough texture i had without irritating my skin. It's a great gentle exfoliator, i like it better than the Apricot Scrub of St. Ive's as this one is probably better for sensitive skin. It makes pores slightly smaller as claimed, the only downside is that if you get it in your eyes. It does burn. But i use it twice a day - and I can really feel a difference. I love it. -
