The Ordinary is amazing skincare. Great quality skincare no longer needs to cost a fortune and to be honest when you buy big branded products you're basically paying for their marketing campaigns rather than a great product. the ordinary proves that the quality is the most important thing. It's great value and actually works. this feels great on the skin and makes a visible difference in a matter of days. And it's now sold in Boots so really easy to get hold of. I'd recommend this over any "posh" skincare brand any day. -

i love tangle Teezers. i have a big one that i keep at home, but also bought one of these smaller ones with the cover for my bag. I have fine hair which knots really easily especially when it is wet, it's also coloured and i use heat on it a lot - i find these brushes are really gentle, it gets rid of knots without pulling most of my hair out. great for combing conditioner through your hair too. -

Dry shampoo is a cupboard must have for me no matter what the brand, but batiste is often the best value. I have fine hair so do wash my hair everyday otherwise it goes limp. So i use dry shampoo to try and wean me off the habit - it gives me extra volume too, but i always curl my hair when i use it to help even more. spray a bit on your roots and leave it for a bit then rub your hands over your hair to rub it in - then you can brush and style as normal. Couldn't live without it now - Batiste is cruelty free too which is even better -

I've had GHD straighteners for a number of years and they are amazing, i have used them to curl my hair in the past but wanted more natural waves. My hair is a shortish graduated bob and these were recommended for shorter hair. It is easier to wrap short hair around a wand than to use a curling tong which grips it as tongs make a kink in the end of the hair. These work really well and once you get the hang of it take a couple of minutes to curl. the benefit of GHD over other brands are - they don't get too hot so as to damage your hair and they switch off after 30 min with no activity - so no risk of forgetting to turn them off!! -

Over the past few years i've been trying to use more natural products and from companies who are certified cruelty free. (it is illegal to test cosmetics on animals if sold in the UK, however big companies still test on animals to be sold in places like China - profits over animals) It comes in loads of different flavours as well and some of them tint your lips -

As someone who doesn't believe that great skincare comes at a high price i was happy to discover this facial cleanser. i have mainly oily skin but it gets dry around my chin and jawline. This cleanser is very effective. it doesn't dry the dry bits and stops breakouts in the oily bits. i also like that it's not too fragrant and it's not too expensive either. Really happy and will continue to buy it -
