Was excited to use this when I saw the brush (it has regular domed sides, and also hourglass sides), but after a couple uses I was quickly over it. Firstly, the tube neck doesn’t pinch the brush enough to remove excess product so it deposits a lot and easily clumps. I had to wipe the brush off to get a even swipe.
The mascara dries quite slowly and would always get on my upper lid and smudge, however I found it very difficult to remove with makeup wipes & micellar. Despite the long-wear, it flakes a lot: at the end of the day (and in the morning, since I’d have to sleep with whatever I couldn’t get off at night), my lower lid would be shadowed by dust & flecks from it. I prefer formulas that dry soft and flexible and this was stiff & crunchy.
I wish I could say something I liked about this mascara

The colour is so lovely and it’s so comfortable to wear. It’s a satin-matte type finish and while not hydrating, it isn’t drying at all. Doesn’t dry out or flake, just fades down. Haven’t had much problem with it bleeding either. Would buy more but I haven’t spotted any other colours I love yet (though I never would’ve picked this colour (Embellishment) for myself, but it’s gorgeous!). #gotitfree

I was excited to use this, as I like Dove brands, though I hadn't heard of them doing haircare (I think of Dove being 'cleaning' products, not necessarily beauty & styling ones). As expected, it had a very powdery scent which is common for their products and may put off some people. I prefer a shampoo/herbal scent to my dry-shampoos: powder scent don't suit me, and strong scents compete with my perfume.
The biggest disappointment was the formula: it was noticeably thinner than other brands, and while it left no visable residue at all, it just wasnt a thick enough product or application to work at all. Product wasn't noticable once sprayed (it comes out so fine, even after shaking the canister) and there was barely anything to soak up oil. Even after 3 applications I noticed no difference in oiliness, so had to follow up with another brand.
Because it was so fine, I'd absolutely use this to add texture and grip to clean dry hair and think it would work extremely well for that, but as a dry-shampoo it was ineffective.

This micellar touts that it's 'No residue', which I haven't found to be an issue with any micellar waters of any brand; some micellar creme cleansers obviously have more moisurisers in them, but I always find the waters leave a clean, fresh but not drying, feel. This one's no different: feels clean, removes makeup without any rubbing, and your skin doesn't feel parched afterwards. Being Nivea, it has a fuss-free, tidy looking bottle (which feels hefty!), and the lightest scent.

It comes in a giant tub, which has a lovely soft-touch feel, that doesn't look cheap at all, and looks quite mature.
I'm excited to continue using this through the fall and into winter.

Overall, a very good antiperspirant spray. The scent is masculine, musky, and not overpowering. Most importantly, I liked that it didn’t have an astringent cologne-like smell to it: it was soft and faded nicely during the day. It was good for both day and night, but wouldn’t be great for someone who likes young or sporty smells.
It was effective and kept me dry, no more than any other spray though.
The packaging is nice, but bulky. It’s a large can, but has a cool aerosol spray cap. Looks smart.

The moment I read the back of this, I was SOLD. I love the feeling (they're silky and just *feel* like they're cleansing everything) of cream cleansers, but I hate actually cleansing my face since I always get my hair wet when rinsing (for years, I'd use a cleanser or scrub in the shower so I could rinse it with my hair, then finally micellar water became a thing in North America), and this is now my dream product.
It has a light floral smell, jasmine, I think, and the texture is thin and lovely.
My only complaints is that you need to use cotton pads (it doesn't spread was well with fingers) and its price :(

The Vichy micellar water comes in a really nice bottle: the packaging is good quality plastic, and very classy. I also really liked the scent, its slightly floral, but my boyfriend (who uses micellar more than me!) doesn't mind it at all.
In terms of quality, it performs the same as any other micellar we've used, and haven't had any issues with sensitivity, etc.

I love the idea of masks, but I'm a pretty low-maintenance lady and never want to carve out the time to sit with a face mask on (I know, I know -- I could do it while watching Netflix or doing emails. I'm lazy!!). I got this from ChickAdvisor to test, and I managed to sum up the effort to try it out, and sooo happy I did.
My 26-year old skin has matured pretty well, and I haven't had acne or regular breakouts for years, but a couple humid sweaty weeks has taken a toll on my skin lately, and I was noticing some bumps forming so this mask arrived at the *perfect* time.
I did notice that it was alot thinner than I thought it would be, I expected more of a dry clay instead of the thinner paste, but the texture was actually great, as it spread better and you used less. The mint was instantly noticable, and I loved it, as acne products are famous for their stinging and heat, and the mint was wonderfully soothing and cooling -- I felt no heat, and not even any tingle.
It dried fairly quickly, and felt very even. I loved that it didnt dry out completely so it was a flaky, dusty mess -- it stayed on perfectly, even as I moved my face. It washed off with very little scrubbing, and my skin felt slightly plump (perhaps from the mint/menthol?) and soft. My skin was completely matte too, so I think this would be great for shiny/oily skin.
I'm definitely keeping this product on hand for any time I start to notice my skin going a little iffy -- it feels like its great quality, and was very simple!
Also, BONUS, you can also use it as a cleanser instead, simply by rubbing it into youre wet skin. So if you hate masks or don't have 3 min to do one, just wash your face!

I’ll admit I was less than impressed to find that, out of all the drink mixes Mott’s offers, the Mai Tai mix has the fewest recipes (only two, whereas some others had about 4-6).
I tried it with gin as it was the only liquor we had on hand, and it was pretty good but very very seeet. I think with some lime juice to balance it out, or a salt rim, it could’ve been fairly tasty.
It was definitely summery though!
