I received both the chocolate and salted caramel flavours of these shakes, and by far preferred the latter. While the chocolate shake boasts the same features as the other flavours (namely a hearty serving of post-exercise protein at the expense of only one gram of sugar), the taste and aftertaste left a lot to be desired. As a huge fan of chocolate and anything chocolate-flavoured, I had high hopes for this and was very excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, the artificial chocolate flavour left a lot to be desired and I found myself preferring my homemade chocolate-flavoured protein powder shakes. This isn't to say that the other flavours are not great (the salted caramel was fantastic!), but I don't think I'll be repurchasing this particular one.

I really enjoyed coming home to a cold glass (or two, or three...) of this shake after an evening workout. The consistency was super smooth and this flavour was really yummy, without any artificial aftertaste. I definitely preferred this to some of the other protein shakes out there, as well as to my homemade powdered creations - much more convenient without sacrificing taste. Another big selling point is that the great taste comes with only 1g of sugar (!!), and these are very easy to find in grocery stores. I'm absolutely looking forward to repurchasing and potentially making them into popsicles during the summer months.

Now that women's deodorants are picking up steam, I've started trying out a number of brands to see if any can really "get it right" and live up to the efficacy of anti-perspirants. I don't know what it is about women's deodorants, but they never seem to be able to mask the scent as effectively as men's. Having tried a few different brands, I was excited to give Dove's take on it a try, as I'm a regular user of Dove's standard line of anti-perspirants. I was already familiar with the scent, which is fantastic and one of Dove's best (and most classic). Other than the fact that it's aluminum-free/deodorant, there's no telling the difference between this and the regular AP line, on the surface. When it comes down to whether or not this works, I'm torn - while it wasn't nearly as effective as AP, it did do a good job of masking sweat smell for most of a low-activity, moderate-temperature day. When I tried wearing it in higher temperatures, however, the smell did start poking through more prominently. I also found that the smell left behind on my clothes when wearing this was definitely funkier than when I wear AP. That being said, the deodorant isn't as thick and doesn't seem to leave as much of a heavy residue on the underarms of my clothes as AP does. I would re-purchase for use exclusively in the cooler months when sweat isn't as noticeable or persistent a problem, and I'm happy to see more "mainstream" brands expanding into the deodorant market!

Can't say enough great things about this moisturizer! I'm a huge fan of gel-based moisturizers, having tried them from Neutrogena and Kiehl's, as well. However, the scent and naturally-derived ingredients is what sets this product apart. I can apply it to my skin and not worry about the harmful ingredients that I'm letting my skin absorb, and I love the fact that Korres continues to make its products in Greece. The consistency of this cream is perfect for my combination skin and particularly in the summer, when things get oilier and the blemishes start poking through.
I actually picked this tub up on Santorini, where the price was (of course) amazing, so I cannot comment on value in terms of Canadian pricing. For the equivalent of $19 CAD over there, this is a fantastic, budget-priced moisturizer and I will definitely be looking into repurchasing!

I love Korres products and the fact that they are still made in Greece and their ingredients are naturally-derived. I had no issue with the scent of this cream and didn't find it overpowering; however, the thickness and texture are where I wasn't really feeling this product. The cream is very thick and therefore only suited for incredibly dry, winter skin. I suspect that using this cream before bed also led to some blemishes and excess oil on my face come morning, to the point where my usual normal to combination (not very) skin was looking greasy. I have used this as a base in the mornings before applying makeup and found that it worked great, but this is too expensive a cream to waste on that. I've found other Korres creams that work much better, namely their pomegranate cream-gel, which has a much better consistency. -

I'm a huge fan of clay masks and own quite a few in my collection - hands down this was the best smelling of all of them! Keeping in line with other clay masks I've tried, this left my skin feeling tightened and dried afterwards (both things that I look for). I know that many don't necessarily enjoy those sensations after using a mask, but for me, it confirms that the mask did its job at removing oil and blackheads, and mattifying my skin. After all, I can just follow up with a light moisturizer.
Having this available in a single-use serving was nice, as future purchases could be brought along on travel (versus large jars), and they don't accumulate bacteria and dry out/harden with time, as jarred masks do. I would likely repurchase this as an occasional treat (that scent!) or for travel, but wish the price point were a bit lower.

Having never used a peel-off mask, I was looking forward to giving this one a try. I typically use jarred masks, so the final sensation of being able to peel this off my face was not overlooked and something I definitely enjoyed! It also definitely makes for a quicker application than scooping from a jar and applying bit by bit. That being said, I had a little bit of trouble applying this to my face, getting everything to line up, but once it was on, it stayed put (and smelled great as I kept getting whiffs of the grapefruit scent!). My skin felt soft and cleansed once I removed the mask, and I feel as if it did help in removing some blackheads on my nose. I would likely repurchase if it were on sale or a coupon available, as I do find it a little pricey for a single-use packet.

As a huge long-time fan of anything grapefruit-scented, I could hardly wait to try out this cleanser - and it definitely didn't disappoint! From the sleek bottle design and transparent cap, to the fresh and tangy grapefruit scent, I adored using this. When first squeezed, the cleanser is very thick and dense; after rubbing it in to my face, it softened and became creamy and silky. I definitely wouldn't describe this as a cream to foam, as I have yet to notice any foaming action, but there were some light suds after some time. I found that this very refreshing to use while in the shower and it's been keeping my oil at bay. With summer finally approaching, I expect to have this as a mainstay.

I'm a little on the fence about this product. While I like the idea of a 2-in-1 serum/primer, I found the execution to be a little lacking. Despite shaking up the bottle really well, I found the consistency of the product a bit too watery and difficult to apply. Application was further complicated by the lack of a dropper - I think that would have made a huge difference in getting the product out of the bottle and on to my face. That being said, once I was able to get the product on, I was pleased with its non-oily finish and sweet scent. I applied it throughout the week as the first step in my makeup application and while I was afraid it would cause my makeup to run or rub off early, I didn't find that to be the case - it was a great base for my daily makeup routine and helped combat dry patches that usually poke through.

What can I say other than I am absolutely in love with this cleanser! As someone who uses both micellar water and gel cleansers, depending on the day, this new release from Aveeno is the perfect marriage of the two. It isn't irritating, doesn't sting my eyes if it accidentally reaches, and has a great consistency for effectively removing ALL of my makeup (even hard-to-remove concealer and eye makeup). The smell is pleasant and subtle, and once it's fully lathered up from its gel texture in the bottle, it becomes rich and smooth on the face. Two thumbs up - a definite hit for Aveeno!
