I tried this product as part of the Chickadvisor product review team. The packaging is very attractive. I was given the scent "vitamin" to trial. Both my husband and I liked the scent but if you prefer unscented products this is not for you. I prefer this kind of squeeze bottle to the kind with a pump. It is less liekly to get clogged. I got it free so I can't really comment on price but would think that ~$5-6 would be a reasonable price compared to similar products. Now on to effectiveness--it indeed moisturizes your skin well. Yo ustill feel the effects the next day. I did find it sticky and my arms left marks on my leather couch in the few hours after putting it on the first time so I recommend only starting out with a very small amount. It definitely works well and as a little goes a long way I suggest starting small and increasing the amount if you need it which will help avoid the greasy/sticky problem. Nice addition to the world of moisturizers. -

I bought this when I forgot my regular brand and had gone away for the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked on a day to day basis. I got the "unscented" and it truly is which is fantastic if you're scent sensitive. It is supposed to be "invisible" but it does leave marks on your clothes but it doesn't go through the clothes and it washes off very easily. That being said, I've never found a solid antiperspirant the works well that doesn't leave marks on your clothes. I think the most important thing in an antiperspirant is that it keeps you from smelling gross and this one worked for me so overall I recommend it. -

I used this lotion after my evening shower/bath in the late second and throughout the third trimester of both of my pregnancies and I have no stretch marks!! It's cheap if you buy it at Walmart or the drugstore but cost 3x as much if you buy it at a maternity store. Not scented but has a bit of a strange scent. Love it. -

I bought a patchwork coach purse as a gift to myself last spring. I got it from an outlet so it was half price and is still probably the most expensive accessory I own. It's very pretty and looks trendy even though it was from the spring before. Many strangers have commented on it when I've taken it travelling on planes. It's a good size and seems to have help up well over the year. The suede patches get dirty easily and I haven't found a good way to clean them yet. Really is a pretty purse -

Really great place for eye exams. Was able to book appointment online which is very convenient. I had extra time that day and they accomodated me and saw me earlier even though it was very busy. Very comprehensive exam. Polite staff. Can access the location from Queens Park subway and you don't have to go outside which is good in bad weather. They don't push you to buy glasses there but the optician Brian is really nice and they have a good selection of frames. If they have your lens in stock they offer 1 hour service at no extra cost. They give you free contact lenses as a trial. Overall great place. Highly recommended. A -

Echo sushi is a great place for dinner. The have lots of fresh sushi options either a la carte, or combinations. Quite an extensive menu for such a small restaurant. Take-out is available. The have all you can eat sushi some nights where you order off a menu and have to eat everything or you don't get more but I prefer their standard menu. They often try new things like brown rice rolls. Reasonable prices. Easy walk north from Davisville subway station. -

This restaurant was ok when it first opened but now that it has outlets all over the city the service for take-out/delivery isn't as good as it used to. There is a good selection. Pad Thai is always popular when we order at work. Rice dishes come with a ton of rice and not so much of a main. The A11 - Chicken Satay with Mango Salad is always a favourite. Not the best but decent menu and decent delivery service. -

So checked out Stillwater because it's supposed to be one of the best spas in North America. 1 hour massage cost $139 tax and tip. So prices are on the high side. It's pretty but it's true you can hear the subway. The women's change rooms were being renovated so we were put in the men's where the bathrooms consisted of 2 urinals and 1 stall (which wasn't the cleanest today). There is tea, coffee, flavoured water (orange, lemon, cucumber), biscotti, apples and pears in the tea room. There's a fish tank and a fireplace. Could be relaxing in the tea room if the other patrons weren't super noisy and there was a house fly buzzing around and hanging out on the biscotti which was gross. However, when I finally got my massage (mom to be) it was super amazing. Best massage I've ever had and lovely RMT. Without renovations and the fly it probably have been a much nicer experience but it was clearly not their day. -

I went to Cozy Nails after reading about it online to get my nails done as a treat a few weeks before I had my baby. The place is fantastic. 28$ gets you a lovely pedicure with pretty much all the fancy extras (choice of bath salts, lotions, etc) that you get at the places downtown for 80$. You pick your polish at the door with tons of choices. The give you a drink menu with teas, smoothies, milkshakes and coffees which are complimentary. The chairs are massage chairs that you can set yourself while they are doing your nails. Truly excellent value for money. Everyone is super polite and all the instruments they use are taken out of the sterilization packaging in front of you. Loved it. There's parking on the street or side streets or it's a short walk from Lawrence subway station. Highly recommended!! -
