I picked up two bars of Alexander's Fudge at Lococos for $5.99 each. A pretty hefty price tag when it's only a little over 7 ounces of fudge in each little plastic container.
I chose Oreo Cookies N Cream because I always love that combo in any snack I get.
If you really enjoy rich fudge, you will probably like this. I did not enjoy this. There wasn't enough of an Oreo taste and all I could get with each mouthful was the very strong taste of white chocolate. I definitely will not be buying this again.

I decided to try the Rocky Road Fudge because I've been craving rocky road for over a year and it's just too hard for me to make myself.
If you like really rich fudge, you will probably enjoy this. I, on the other hand, didn't care for it that much. I suppose I set my expectations too high with the label of 'rocky road'. It really should have had more marshmallows and more of a crunch from the nuts. And I think I'm still smarting from the large price point.

My mother-in-law uses the Huggies baby diapers and I wasn't impressed with them at all. I don't like the material, and compared to my Pampers, the sizes seem to run a little smaller. Not a good thing for my very big 4 month old. And because of that little piece of stretchy material at the back of the diapers (I guess it's there to stop poo from going up the back) it's hard as hell to get on the baby when he's moving around because I can't neatly put the diaper in the middle of his back with the tabs on the side. It's hard to explain, but I always stretch out the Pamper diapers at the back so they'll lie flat. Where as with the Huggies, that's impossible to do. And when you have a squirming baby who has just learned to turn over onto his belly, it's really annoying to fiddle with the diaper for longer.
Considering they go for about the same money, I would definitely recommend Pampers over the Huggies brand. From diapers to wipes, Pampers does it better.

Vagisense is an over the counter product that is designed to identify the cause of your vaginal symptoms so you can get the correct treatment. Except it fails at that because it can't tell if you actually have a vaginal yeast infection. But it may or may not be able to tell you if you have a bacterial infection that you need to see your doctor about anyway. It's not 100% effective at detecting bacterial infection.
This was a waste of $20 on 2 testing sticks. You're better off just treating yourself with Canesten. If that doesn't work within 7 days, then go to the doctor. I went with the Vagisense because I've never really gotten a yeast infection before and my symptoms were different than what Google was showing for a yeast infection. But, guess what, it turns out I had one, and I had to go out and spend an additional $15 for the cure.
Don't waste your money. If you really think it's weird and not like a normal yeast infection, go to the doctor. It'll take him or her a minute to look at it. It's not a big deal. Or, just spend the money and get the treatment. Vagisense is truly a money grabber.

I was looking for a wide tooth comb and decided to pick the Goody Quik Style Comb because it looked to have strong teeth and I was lured in by the promise of drying my hair faster.
The first problem is that you shouldn't brush your hair when it's wet. Your hair is most vulnerable and prone to breakage while wet. Brushing it out with any kind of comb is a bad idea. So even while being careful about it and going slowly from the ends first to the roots, the Goody Quik Style Comb did not deliver on its promise to take moisture away.
The teeth are strong and power through my hair while dry. But I would never buy this product again, nor would I recommend it, since there are cheaper combs out there that do what this comb does.

The L Word is pretty much the lesbian version of Queer as Folk, but not as good. It's still definitely worth seeing though. The dialogue is well written and realistic, and it portrays women very sincerely. I don't care too much for the abundance of cheating and affairs, but I suppose that's life. As my husband says, based on personal experience, women cheat and lie. About as much as most men do. Which from what I've seen, is true. But that being said, I like some of the characters and there are some good and loyal characters here. Shane is my absolute favourite. I feel so sorry for her with how she keeps losing the people she loves though. And it sucks they killed off one of the most likable characters on the show. Also, this show portrays that pretty much all lesbians go without bras. I don't think that's entirely correct, but it's worth noting. -

Queer as Folk is one of the most honest, down to earth, well written, and absolutely thoroughly enjoyable television series I have ever watched. I've seen the entire series multiple times and it never gets old. I love the characters, especially Brian and Justin. I didn't care for the ending, and in my mind it ends a little before that episode when it goes a bit down hill. Though I suppose it keeps true to their characters.
It's a gay television show that doesn't pull any punches. These are not your stereotypical sexless queens like on Modern Family or other shows that display the typical gay best friend. This is a totally realistic portrayal of men who just happen to love men.

The original Jurassic Park is definitely the best movie in the whole Jurassic line up. And it's amazing that the special effects still hold up to today. I remember seeing this movie for the first time at the drive in and I still love the movie as much as I did when I was a kid. It's a great action packed movie and I recommend seeing it. I just wish the two scientists had gotten back together again. That was kind of a bummer. -

I don't care for the plot of having a ton of kids, so I don't feel sorry for them in the least when they can't afford to provide all the time. But at least they can keep a roof over their head and food in their bellies. Cheaper by the Dozen is a classic and worth watching. -

I never thought to check Aquamarine out before because it always looked a little silly. But there was nothing else on TV one day and I saw this movie come up so I figured I'd give it a chance. It was actually surprisingly good for a movie on TV that I'd never even heard of being in theatres. I recommend watching it if, like me, you can see it for free. -
