I Heart Huckabees (2004)
A very different kind of movie. I really don't think they put this much effort into script anymore. But I found this to be funny and touching and with quirky characters that you could really relate to. Give this movie a shot.

It's a Funny Kind of Story is surprisingly good, considering I came across it while using Netflix. I figured it would be a B-rated movie, but it was very good. I liked that the movie has characters you feel invested in and actually care about what happens to. I really recommend giving this movie a watch. -
Hotel Transylvania (3D Blu-ray Combo)
Hotel Transylvania is a funny and light family movie. Good for the kids, it'll definitely hold their attention. It has its funny moments, though (as with most Adam Sandler movies) sometimes it feels like it's trying too hard.

MIB Men in Black
Men in Black is a good action movie with some decent humour and one liners. Will Smith is great in this, and I really like Tommy Lee Jones. The sequels are pretty bad, but the original Men in Black is solid.

The Lion King is a classic. A family movie that everyone loves to watch. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. I can't imagine this movie with any other kind of music. There were a couple filler songs, but overall the soundtrack is very good. I especially love the simple tribal music in the background. And the emotional scene with Mufasa gets me every time. Even more so now with my own father's passing. Truly a memorable moment in Disney history. -
Juno (2007 movie)
Juno manages to handle a touchy subject with style, humour and grace. Ellen Page is a fantastic actress and she really does the role justice. I don't care too much for Michael Era's character, but I suppose he represents the typical teenage boy.

The Devil Wears Prada is a good, light movie. Nothing serious, but a decent movie none the less. I really liked Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci in this movie. I honestly didn't care for Anne Hathaway's character. I suppose she wasn't bad in the end... +

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is a very light romantic comedy. I think had this movie been done with a different pair of actors, this movie wouldn't have done as well as it did. But Mathew and Kate have great chemistry, and it's perfect for the role. Mathew always plays the same character in every single movie, but he's just as loveable in this movie. I found at times the humour to be too... well, what I think of when I think of stupid male comedys. But for the most part, there were some good laughs in this. I especially like the family visiting scenes. It was very human interaction. -

Frozen, the Disney Movie
Frozen is a good family movie, but it's definitely been hyped. I think How to Train Your Dragon offers better characterization and a more concrete plot. Frozen is more fluff. Some good songs, but otherwise not a classic like The Lion King.
